      It is but also it has stuff missing such as a slower charging point, lower screen resolution to it's bigger brother. It even has a exynos chip which is inferior by like 10-15% compared to the snap dragon variant in America. So, they did cheapen out in some other areas despite it being s models

    Now this is a tech review. No BS, clean atheistic footage, actual real life experience with the device, not 3 hours of side by side camera footage, and a down to earth host. Keep it up, so far the realist review I’ve seen of this device, I look forward to the day in the life.

    As an average user who would hardly notice minor differences in phones, I'm really happy with my s24. I've been a pixel user for the last six years with nothing negative to say about Google, but considering I get a phone every two years, I just thought it would be nice to try something else.
    My provider actually had a better deal on the S24 over the pixel 8, which was my main deciding factor along with I think the S24 is a really good-looking phone, and I love the marble gray.
    Personally, anything larger than the base version of these phones just wouldn't work in my life as they would be too big and annoyinging to carry around all day. Im sure the features would be better, but I can't justify walking around all day with a tablet in my pocket, lol.

      I like the phone overall but mine has terrible battery. I’m more of a light user but I get 3 hours of screen time. My Pixel 7, after a year and a bit, had 3.5 hours of screen time. I called Samsung and they told me to go to Mobile Klinik. They checked my phone and said my phone’s battery is good after they did a few tests. I primarily text, check email and social media, listen to downloaded music, etc. I rarely watch videos, and I don’t play games, yet my S24 has terrible battery life

    One glaring omission is the fact that the AI features are only free until the end of 2025. After that they might switch to a subscription model. I personally think that's a huge mistake since it's being touted as a "feature" on the phones instead of a 3rd party service that you can use on any phone. If/when they switch to a subscription model, they are going to have a lot of angry customers.

      My opinion - think that you are closer to android or aios, if you like multifunctionality (split screen, gestures, easy connection to a pc, customization, downloading third-party applications), then most likely you will be more suitable for c24.
      If this is not so important, but, for example, it is more important to have a good camera (on the iPhone it is slightly better, as I understood from the reviews), then take the iPhone

    To all Europeans watching American or Canadian reviews of samsung s 24 , this is snapdragon version of the device, in Europe we have exynos that is complete trash.
    Overheating, bad reception, worst battery life, picture quality bad as midrange phone. Don't get full, don't buy samsung in Europe .

    my s23 costs around $620 during pre orders deal. it's really worth it until now, S24 looks good with thinner bezel and 7 years software update make it really solid flagship phone

    OnePlus 12 is a flagship phone that costs $800.

      It costs less for a reason.

      @jordanjackson8873 what is the reason?

    • @jordanjackson8873
      @jordanjackson8873 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @ayouboughar4673 No AI, no 7 years of software updates, fewer features, fewer customization options, fewer security options, smaller ecosystem, less optimization, worse camera, and etc.

    • @ayouboughar4673

      @jordanjackson8873 for ecosystem OnePlus also have the new OnePluswatch2, OnePlus Busds and tablet. And for the AI OnePlus has the same CPU so they can implement AI easily shortly, don't forget Samsung will charge you for AI after the end of 2024, Also OP12 have a better screen, better battery, and better charging speed.

      @jordanjackson8873 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ayouboughar4673 except I get 10 hrs of SOT out of an s24+ easily, and the s24 ultra can get more battery life. Also, there is no way you're gonna argue the ecosystem against samsung. They have tablets, watches, earbuds, phones, laptops, smart tv's, smart washers, smart blinds, smart lights, etc. I can literally control my washer and tv from my phone and get wahser pop-up notifications on my tv. Also, the AI deal is with Google, so no One Plus can't just implement those whenever they want. Samsung announced Google's AI features before Google even did. So no

    S24 is a flagship phone. That’s why they created the fe , a series and whatnot… whether ALL specs don’t qualify as flagship, it’s still a flagship phone. I had this phone and the battery was horrible. Switched to the iPhone 15

    • @jordanjackson8873
      @jordanjackson8873 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The s24 battery was horrible? I get 9 hours screen on time, and sometimes 10, out of my s24+ now with the update. I also get like 14 hrs of battery. All of this with heavy use and demanding tasks. I can't imagine the s24 having bad battery life.

      @conejo7288 no 14 hrs total with 9 hours screen on time during all day heavy usage. Video editing, emulation, gaming, media content, web surfing, putting together resumes and split-screening.
