After doing some research on calculating E85 mixes, I was sold on the PRO TUNING FREAKS FLEX FUEL KIT. Calculating E mixes isn't that hard, but it definitely takes up some time and adds extra steps. Also, if I went with, let's say, an E30 tune without the flex fuel kit and I wanted to go back to 93... let’s say you didn’t calculate the mixture correctly this flexfuel kit will automatically adjust the tune to the correct amount of ethanol. Ain't nobody got time for that. LOL. This plug and play kit. Let me know if you all have any questions! Thanks for tuning in.

@@malayaf30update* on the s55, with wiring, on the clip you pull out there are 2 black wire pin holders and 1 grey..slide grey off and onto the bm3 harness, then place into clip and reinstall. Other than that, everything else is the same and very straightforward. Car is running great so far. Thanks again for the great diy!

I just got the flex fuel kit and I did everything right the only thing is trying to fit the flex fuel inside the hat location
That’s probably the most difficult part

Great video. Im about to do this install over the weekend. After the install, what do you do with the tune? Just select multimap and it will auto tune for whats in the tank?
I have a custom tune, so I had to reach out to my tuner for him to make another custom map with flexfuel enabled. You could still check the fuel ethanol content to make sure it works.

Thanks, prefer a long dragged out video over any "hey I'm mr YT look at me skipping steps in search for dicks, ohh sorry meant clicks" while grossly skipping over any small but important part, patience is a virtue or so the saga goes.

Just weird that you still had such pressure built up on the low pressure side at the fuel hat location, you pulled the connector, started the car, ran until died??? Maybe I am missing something, I find it strange should it not be more or less drained at that point?
I want to do engine bay to skip pulling trim, rear seat, perhaps change my mind and go this route anyway just sporadically I feel engine bay should be less work, as long as the grommet is there as advertised it's a short distance straight down to foot well.

I hate watching videos of other TH-camrs and when they skip all the important steps and don’t explain how they did it!
After I installed the flexfuel I figured out why there was so much pressure in the low pressure side, it’s because I had my keys in the car and it kept priming. That was my mistake I should’ve had my key out of the car or disconnected the battery before hand. We live and we learn
