I would highly recommend wrapping the fuel line in the microfiber towel when taking it off 😂, mine just sprayed everywhere even after starting the car, hopefully this helps someone.

Flex fuel is the truth I had this done on my f87 m2 og lci. Best mod ever. All fueling solved. I make 540whp on 93 and 660whp on e50. One tune to rule them all.

Rear backseat is a major pita! I've struggled several times with it! Couple of additional questions: 1. For the ethanol reader, will previously made custom maps still work? I have tunes with both Paul and Cary -- curious if I can add them as options for maps 1-4 for the on-the-fly map changes? or is a new custom map required for this functionality? 2. You do a good job of showing how features work - I'm wondering if you can do a video for the anti-rolling lag. I can't seem to get it to work, and there's not much content out there on how to properly use this feature! Thanks @Kies!

love the videos, but not necessary to reflash at the fuel pump when switching back from 93 to e50 or e30 back to 93....just don't run crazy with it until you flash it. i.e. change fuel, drive easily home, don't wot at every light, or just don't go wot at all, once your home you can flash. that said, i do want this sensor ;)
I also have a question on the spark plugs. Im running a stage 2 OTS tune atm and am already running a step colder for this tune. Do i need to go another step colder for the BM3 kit or are the existing plugs (which are already 1step colder) be ok? Thanks!

I think that ethanol in a way is much better for your car’s engine, it burns cleaner, it burns cooler, it cleans the engine on the inside, even the engine oil takes longer to go bad, oh, and it has a higher octanage. Gasoline just clogs up your engine inside and what not. Don’t take me wrong tho, it does lubricate some parts of your engine so, it is also needed sometimes. But I usually use 5 full tanks of flex fuel, say E85, and one tank of 95 octane gasoline, after all these cars were made mostly to run on gasoline, and not on ethanol blends. The one thing we got to watch out for is that the higher pressure fuel pumps and the lower pressure fuel pump make take a direct hit whilst using ethanol blends.
@@JPMichaels2010 did more research and found out you do not need a custom tune, although a custom tune would be better obviously, the ots map has tables for all e contents!
On what platform? Be specific, man. N55? You’ll need to upgrade the hpfp and the lpfp at anything above e30 from what I understand. The Dorch Stage 2 for example, allows for full e85. Although, the lpfp won’t support anything past e30- so you’ll have to upgrade that. S55? I dunno.
I am interested in this as well. When researching this type of mod I learned that ethanol has solvent properties that can release built up gunk in the fuel tank (and even fuel lines) from years of standard unleaded gas use. This released “gunk” can lead to clogged fuel injector problems that have been reported by some who have done this mod on cars with higher mileage, hence the recommendation by some to use filtration. Otherwise, I love the simplicity of this implementation.
Whenever I've had to take the back seat out I've always taken the seatbelt off from the bolt and fished it back in and screwed in again. I don't know how me or any of the techs around me never thought of just clipping in the seatbelt, thanks.

So I’ve tried searching online to see if it does work but I can’t find an answer. I have a 2013 F30 with the N26 will this work? I’m stage 2 e30 and FBO but I’ve tried to look for a kit that works on my car but they usually only say N55 F30 although there’s some N55 parts that have fit in my car like it’s meant to be so does this work for that?
1) How does custom-rom work with an already installed custom E85 tune? 2) That's gonna take the average person way longer than 5 minutes, especially with reinstallation. Hell, it took you 10 minutes and that was with cuts/edits lol 3) There's no way you'll convince me that the connection at the LPFP or the little module you tucked away against the body of the car won't rattle. These cars already rattle in stock form, not to mention adding aftermarket exhaust to the car lol
1) I'd imagine if you already have an e85 tune, you already have supported mods to calculate your mix, this system does it for you and works off your "flex fuel tune" to get you to the right mix for the tune so the user doesn't need to sit and calculate, rather than pump and go. 2) Took me about 20 min, watched the video 3 times, getting the back seat in was the hardest. 3)There is a pretty decent gap between the side leather piece and right under the headrest which I tucked mine into, and ziptied it, zero issues so far.

let me ask this, I've just recently switched to the E-20 Stage 2 Plus MHD map on my FBO 2015 335i. I've been targeting either E-30 or E-28 in my calculations cause I heard that sometimes pump gas is below 10% (I've been testing the flex fuel with test kit and getting the claimed E-83 for the summer blend). If it ok to run E-28 on a E-20 map? Seems to run great but I do worry.
You’ll be relatively safe to go over it as long as your fuel system can handle it. I often run E40 on my E30 tune, and when I run the 93 tune I mix a couple gallons of ethanol in because I get a lot of timing corrections if I don’t

Yep. That’s what I’m Running. Makes a huge difference going to e85. Did crack my stock chargepipes right away but with new aluminum ones it’s pulling really hard.
@@jacobbloom5931 Ive seen your comment a few times so far. The thing is, not all hpfp’s are exactly the same. Some factory units turn out weaker than others. His may struggle at only fbo. We don’t know that unless he looks at his logs. Add e30 to a struggling hpfp at fbo and it’s a problem
I'm running a custom E50 BM3 tune on my F32. Does this work with custom tunes? I'm tired of measuring the ethanol at the pump and looking like a crazy person. I can have this part installed and I can automatically check for E content through the tac? That's literally all I'd be using this for.

For stage 2 maps up to E30 no, but the Stage 2+ which requires an aftermarket HPFP yes. I assume you're talking N55.

S55 can handle full e85 and anything in between on stock fuel system. N55 is limited I believe

It won't. You need to get NGK 97506 2 step colder plugs and gap them to .018-.022 depending on your tune, that's it
