    I don't normally eat until 12 and you have made me hungry. One of the reasons I haven't been buying the Carnivore Snax is the price. This is a game changer. Thank you!!

    I make my own raw cat food. Because of the fat ratio they need, there is often extra skin because I can’t use it all in their food. I’ve been making these into “chips” for several years now in line with my carnivore diet. Awesome that you did this video!
    It works great with turkey skin also!

    FYI, I season mine after they come out of the oven. I throw them in a big bowl with the seasoning for less fuss and less waste of the seasoning during the cooking process. Sometimes I also cook them slowly in their own fat in a pot; that way you get schmaltz too, but the crackers won’t necessarily be flat.

    use skins to wrap meat and spices for keto dim sum i get mine at local asian market the skins are already cleaned and excess fat scraped off a dollar a pound i assume skins are used in asian cooking

    I made these today with the Redmonds real salt and the Redmonds barbeque seasoning after I pulled them out of the oven. Absolutely delicious!!!

    These are seriously to die for! After reading a few comments I think meat chips would also be a great video! Thin sliced meat either purchased or sliced yourself. Can be done in the oven or dehydrator. Both will work. I speak for many when I say we love the GREAT Food Ideas!

    I NEED A BIGGER FREEZER! I get Sam's chicken thighs 3 packs at a time, and had issues cooking the skins right, I am TOTALLY trying this method next time I buy them. 😁

    Next time sprinkle the seasoning on the parchment before you lay them out. Then just sprinkle on the side that's facing up.

    Thank you so much for this video! I’ve been wanting to make chicken skins for ages but wasn’t sure how. I’d seen many options but most were in the air fryer. This not only is easy but smart! I already have a few jelly roll pans that would work perfectly! (When you said there was alulose in the bar b que seasoning I thought “Oh no! That will make it brown more!”) I’m sorry you lost those yummy treats. RIP baby chicken skins 😔😇 LOl!! 😂

  • @jenniferlucas963
    @jenniferlucas963 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Joe season the skin, place the second parchment and second pan...flip the whole setup, remove the original pan and paper, season the second side, replace the paper and pan...flip back before baking. Just a theory. I don't know if the original paper will lift off without lifting the skins.

  • @anjibrazell
    @anjibrazell ปีที่แล้ว

    take each skin and dip (just pass over-- not heavily) dip the skin inone side, turn over touch the other side, then put on the pan. Don't have to pick 'em up and put 'em down again!!

    I had provided the advice that Steve at Serious Keto had already recommended that erythritol not allulose in a barbeque seasoning due to the low temp it burns at on a very recent video when you said you were going to do this. It doesn't hold up in the smoker either. He's got a good spice mix/rub recipe but recommends allulose in a sauce! I had suggested that you test it and provide the feedback to Redmond. I hope you let Redmond know to swap out the sweetener!
