I recently splurged on the top of the line Ninja Foodi pressure cooker and air fryer combo and it has a dehydrator function that goes up to 195F. I also found a dehydrator rack that fits 5 levels inside the pot. by cutting the bacon strips in half and carefully arranging them I was able to fit almost 18 strips in a single batch. It turned out perfectly after a little over 4 hours. I was shocked. I didn't even flip or cycle around the order of the layers I just let it go. Used the drippings to start a batch of chili with the slow cook function right after.
Thank you Joe and Rachel for showing how to make the bacon jerky using the oven. I live in a small house and don't have room for alot of other appliances so it is great when you show recipes like this. Will definitely be making this as soon as I get to the store for some thick cut bacon.
It is so cute how every time you guys eat or you taste something or whatever you always split it and then you go "dink" and then you enjoy your food it is sweet, kind of romantic and it just oozes you guys.

I oven-bake my bacon and have started using a lower temperature because it doesn't shrink nearly as much and you get to keep all that lovely fat. Making up a whole bunch is a nice idea except I would have trouble NOT eating it all.
Have you checked out the bearded butchers TH-cam videos? They have an outdoor kitchen that looks phenomenal that you can purchase. I watched their video where they show you how they make venison bacon. It looks like they try to use clean ingredients like in their seasoning and recipes.

Did a batch of plain on the Recteq @200 for about 4 hours. Did a second batch in the oven at 200 seasoned with Siracha and a few drops of Maple stevia. Both were good, but the seasoned oven batch is REALLY good. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you so much. I will be putting my Nueskes applewood thick cut bacon in my smoker for jerky bacon. I'll throw in some ribeye with it. But I will never use any sweetner. I hate stevia aftertaste. But that's just me.

I made pork belly jerky in my dehydrator last week and it died right in the middle so I had to transfer it all to the oven. I dried mine out for 12 hours. Maybe I could go less.
Disappointing. 1 pound of thick bacon in the oven gave 104 g of overly crisp regular bacon, plus crumbs. (23% yield.) Maybe it is $19.52/# bacon bits, not jerky. Ideas? (Commercial bacon bits are under $15/#.)
Oh, I did not have the famous California Sriracha… I bought the HOT variety of Valentina’s hot sauce. I baked 🥓bacon in the oven 🥓slathered with the hot 🌶sauce 🌶and stevia, just the way Rachel did‼‼‼Scrumptious‼ More than scrumptious…. The next day…I bought 🐖PORK 🐖RIBS🐖…and slathered them with the same 🌶hot sauce mixture and baked them just over an hour until golden at about 400F. Best pork ever! (My 350F runs very hot…I bake BBBE bread in 20 min!) I ask you… who needs high carb 🍅tomato 🍅based 🍅BBQ sauces⁉ WE DO NOT…For zero carb… use the 🌶hot sauce and stevia….want to 🎷🎺🎸jazz the mixture up SIMPLY add a squirt of French’s yellow mustard, a dash of powdered garlic and onion…and you are golden! Slather it on…. Bake as usual and keep the carb count ULTRA LOW‼‼‼ It is time🧭to DITCH THE TOMATOES🍅🍅🍅 I also want to save one evening a week for happily 🥓DEHYDRATING bacon🥓cost effective, the bacon will barely shrink which is money in our pockets. Delicious! I don't like stevia either. I use Bocha Sweet, Sucralose Drops, Lakanto. I usually mix them together for an even better taste.
