@@peterhammer6915 Thanks for the reply, looking at getting something I like, really like the Audi interiors and some of their exterior designs too, don't find them to edgy/silly looking as far as crazy wings & what not like WRX etc look kind of boring & classy to me but really like leather & even the round port AC vents in the 3's vs the more standard style in the 5's would like something a bit exciting & the 400 hp sounds it, right not have a Prius for gas milage driving Uber etc but going to give up Uber & then can waste a bit more on fuel just getting back & forth to have a vehicle i'm excited about instead of the one that makes the most sense, looking at the Audis, Cadillac CTS not sure what else, the Golf GTI gets great reviews but not sure if I could get excited about the car, on looks the exterior doesn't do it for me, want something with some power, amazing leather interior needs to seat 4. I've experienced FWD push and have heard mixed things about these AWD audis & them inproving weight balance over what they were etc. Any cars come to mind I should look at? The Camaro is out as the back seat leg room is compeletly non existant with a 6' Driver. Really not going to push any extereme driving but would like a vehicle capable if I were to. Mostly interested in interior luxury & a reasonable price would be a plus.

I love this car. I have it in white. I think the best color is blue though. It's kind of a sleeper car, but some people do know what it is and stare. You'll hit high speed so quickly, and you wouldn't even know. Also, it is a pricey car. I wish it was cheaper. The M2 Competition currently has the highest HP and torque for class -- it's slower in a straight line but faster on track and has better handling. Other notes, that display should have went down when Soyfan press the button -- maybe there is a defect with this particular car. Also, I get 25 mpg on average commuting between home and work. When I'm on comfort mode, I get nearly 32 mpg, but I rarely use comfort mode.

I've had mine since May of 2018 and have had nothing but good experiences with it. I think the dual nature of this car is what I like best...I can get 30 MPG and a nice comfy ride to work when I'm behaving myself, but the car can turn into a monster with a quick shift to "dynamic" and a little bit heavier of a foot. And it does all of the above year round in any type of weather. There are few cars that can do everything as well as the RS3.

sp royals I had several encounters on the Autobahn with M3 and M4 (100-230km/h). The M4 Convertible is slower but the other versions are pretty equal to the RS3. Most of the time it came down to who started first to accelerate - however I was always able to keep up.

John Holst umm, you can think about it normally most financial decisions. compare it to the alternatives and decide accordingly.
the rs3 is also not a car i’d consider overpriced. a fully loaded golf r is 46k. an rs3 is 56k. it has a nicer interior, better seats, what comes optional in the r is standard in the rs3, its almost a full second quicker to 60, top speed is 21 mph faster, can run 11s stock, trapping near 115mph, (over a second faster than an r). it has better breaks, a better tuned gearbox, and better tuned suspension.
seems to me like its worth the extra money. it also stacks up with its competition decently well in my estimation, particularly for being a sedan when a lot of its comp are coupes.

The key when applying, wash the car with dishwasher soap to remove all the dirt, old wax or any previous coating. What he did is wrong, sealing w all the road harmful chemicals.
Wash w dishwasher (Dawn), maybe another wash w regular car soap, I do a quick wax, followed by the Quick detailer ceramic coating.

I bought an S6, 11 months old, 2 months ago, never told the wife, she went frigging mad because of the size 'too big' so now I'm going for a new RS3...totally different in many ways including rear leg room but it's about 20 inches longer than the RS3, so what do you expect with the rear leg room on the RS3 ??? I'm confused with your comments about this. It is what it is for the size...rear leg room seems okay to me ? The S6 has a much 'plusher' interior and a V8 twin turbo which I absolutely love every time I push the start button. My wife owns the 2018 edition of this car, this color. Definitely has a fair amount of orange in it. It has the adaptive dampers. Makes it a little nicer on trips. I own a 2016 Golf R, manual. They are not the same animals. Even when you have the R in Race and aids turned off. The R is more fun at lower speeds. I put it this way. If you get stopped having fun in the R, you're getting a ticket (which my wife has). If you get stopped in the RS3 having fun, there is a good chance they are going to take you to jail, and impound the car. It is that potent. I think the critiqe of the transmission was putting it politely. I'm hoping for a flash from someone soon. Also, I am 6'2". I prefer however to sit like a professional driver, which I'm definitely not, so the legroom behind the driver seat with me driving is more like the legroom in the passenger side shown in the video. The view out the front glass however is problematic. You don't want to be first in line at a red light. My 5'8" wife has no issues. Our kids are adults, so the "hot hatch" size is not an issue. If you make a trip, fold the back seats down, and throw a nice blanket down. If you live in the Northeast as we do, buy the extra warranty on the wheel, as we did. We have had it approximately six months and have had one wheel repaired, and it has a bubble in the sidewall of a front tire as I type this. We have decided that when it is time to Get rid of the Golf R, I will take the RS3 and she wants the RS 5. 60 hour work weeks here I come!!!!

Our new A5 SB has a decently fast power seat with memory which makes it tolerable when I switch from my wife's seat position but I'd much prefer to quickly move a manual seat all the way back (she keeps the seat all the way forward) than wait on the power seat to adjust to its saved position. Firstly I absolutely love my RS3 - BUT - I have seen many reviews but nobody seems to comment on the stupid location of the light switch.Yes, the main lights can be set to auto but the two little buttons for all weather lights and rear fog lights are dangerous. They are too low to be seen when driving and usually masked by your hand/arm, not distinct enough to find by feel and so you have to move your head and look down to select them - taking your eyes off the road and a hand off the wheel in fog, possibly at night, is not the best thing to be doing.

I owned a 2018 RS3. Traded it for 2018 RS5. Depends what you want from a car. RS3 highlight is the engine. However, here are the problems I had with the car. No power seats for a 70k car Canadian. Seats are ok, not great for long drives. A3, S3 and RS3 have a view of only the dashboard. No view of the hood whatsoever. It’s bizarre. Personally I felt like I was driving a car with the hood chopped off. Looks way too much like a well equipped A3. Haldex is way to nose heavy and the car is not great in the winter compared to other Quattro models. Noisey on the highway and ride quality beats you up. It’s a fun car, with a great motor. RS5 is way more expensive but the rear bias Quattro gives you that amazing sensation in corners as the back end comes around. RS5 has way more torque and just feels faster all the time under 3500rpm. Massaging seats, way quieter and interior is way better etc.... I would not buy this car as a daily driver. Only as a weekend car. Just my opinion after owning it.

never read such rubbish - I have an s3 sportback and rs3 2017 saloon. The s3 and golf r are good cars but are nowhere near as quick, sound as nice as, or nice to drive as well as an RS3 2017. Power wise for an s3 you need at least a stage 2, but they still wont sound or handle as well as an RS3. The 2 litre turbo is also limited in mods as you cant get much more than 400bhp reliable power out of it (it can go to 600bhp but reliability suffers massively - check out arthur or calvin golf r on you tube), whereas the rs3 engine is good for double that and can go up to near 1000bhp. The rs3 drives way better than the nose heavy s3 as the suspension software and setup is different (you can power slide the rs3 a little, whereas with the s3 its near impossible to do this)

Much like the standard model comes with magnetic dampening suspension and the dynamic package comes with a fixed steel coilover suspension.

no the 2016 gen 3 2.0t doesn’t have the turbo and piston problems the 2015 has, so it can take much more boost.

Tune the RS3 and the A3 wont even come close. I had a Golf R and the RS3 feels like a totally different car and engine.
I got rid of the Golf R cause I hated the sound of the 4 cylinder.
