I always get them on high end. It’s same debate for 8th gen si and 9th si. 8th gen always gonna take it on high end.
I feel the best way to find out is if you race both cars your self because I then seen sti get burnt by g37 but when I race one in my stock sti his g37 was tune we was neck to nexk

The FK8R is a beast. I always get humiliated by them in my STI and it's been irritating hahaha. Cuz of that I literally stopped driving it and just used my daily driver, a Nissan Navara 😂.

Subaru needs to make 1000 production cars of the same car their racing in order to compete in the WRC. The EJ25 has been out since the 2004 STi which was 300hp. In 2004, the Civic Type R only made 200hp at the crank. Considering the EJ25 is a dinosaur motor, it still kept up after 20 years of technology difference (2004-2024). Please educate yourself.

High horse power is obviously less noticeable, and you have a better launch typically, but in reality it does cause a loss of power. If you race someone with similar horse power and torque but they're rear or FWD in lets say a roller, you'll likely not win.

My sti was tuned only with intake and catback 294 to the wheels and 325 torque.
This shouldn’t surprise you. A WRX/ STI that’s tuned & driven the right way will get em all day.

The STI is a 2021 and the type r also have an Intake, exhaust but no tune in this race
