Tofi, this looks like a great area too. I think doing the state highpoints is a great way to see all or most of what the US has to offer in terms of natural beauty. It's really neat how much variety we have here.
@8:21 they might be using the nets to fend off ticks and the deer flies skeets are a punk at night more then anything. hopefully you got a moment coming down on that look out view spot.
I ran into the same problem near the top. I started down the trail you were on but knew it could not be right so I just so turned around and found the correct way up to the top.
