- This week’s video was rewarding after all the hard work this winter we get to see the end result’s, and man is it pretty! The linseed oil shine is a great match up next to the clear coated and scotchedbrited door. The replica 57 Plymouth hubcaps fit nicely on the 15” f150 wheels and look great! A bit more assembly and we are ready for the first drive ever after fabricating a full trunk floor, and I expect noticeable improvements in the drive ability of the car. Thanks everyone for watching! Those hub caps look great, just right for a 40 Ford! that shine made it look like a different car. Great job Jeremy, keep up the good work and take care.
Thanks Junior, I was happy with it all. Thanks for following along!
You have done a wonderful job Jeremy. Keep on Keepin on, later. Terry. 😊
Thanks for watching Terry, and helping me out the other day. I’m anxious to see your progress on projects this summer. Jeremy

Fancy! Fancy! Luv-it!
Thanks!
Looks 40 mph faster Jeremy. Sweet. Glad for the video I needed to stop for lunch. Have a good weekend brother. 😅😅
You have a great weekend as well, and thanks for following along!
Caps are cool😊😊😊
I’m falling in love with them! Thanks Lawrence
Cool hubcaps; that and some whitewall inserts is the ticket! 😉
Thanks for watching. Hadn’t thought about white wall inserts, might look good!
Looking awesome.
I appreciate that. Thanks for following along!
You could a picture of Al Capone next to car it fit nicely 👍👍 great job
I might dress up like him. 😂
Beautiful car brother !!
Thank you much!
Hi Jeremy. The oiled paint looks great. The hubcaps don't do anything for me, but it ain't my car. Be careful with the oily rags. They can and will self ignite if left wadded up. Laid out flat is ok. Pre 64 ford pickup wheels with the innie nubs for the hubcaps will take an early Ford hubcap. That's what I'd go for if it was mine. Keep up the good work and glad to see the sub count climbing. All the best, Mart.
Thanks for watching Mart. I knew of a guy that left some of those rags wadded up in a cardboard box on his porch while doing his house. The neighbor looked out the window that night and they were on fire, so he ran over and got it stomped out. Only luck that he seen it! I hope for a drive on the next Eliza video. Take care
Looking good, if you use the foam with the scrim backing it will make it easier to recover the back seat.
Thank you
Oh yeah now some white walls a real gangsta look.
Your the second guy whose said that. Maybe 🤔
The patina looks great with the linseed oil. Is it boiled linseed oil that dries hard and is water resistant?
I remember those hubcaps being popular back in the day along with fake whitewalls. We called them mickey mouse whitewall rings and I’m not sure why we used them when you could buy real whitewalls. I had them on my model A and 40 with black wheels and no hub caps.
Later with my 55 Ford Customline the trend was white wheels and blackwalls. I remember painting the wheels and flipping the tires around, so the whitewall was on the inside and blacking out the white.
Keep the videos of your journey with the 40 coming. They are Interesting!
Yeah boiled linseed oil. That and the hubcaps sure made a difference! Thanks for following along!
The 40 Ford happens to be my dream Car but i don't care for the hubcaps. That's all personal preference, and I'm not saying you're wrong.
But I'd like a nice stock cupcabs Or go to the other end of the spectrum And put a set of SS craigers.
And black wall tires
thats a cool looking car jeremy just dont cut the top off like bad chad did.
Ha ha !!! No I won’t do that! I like watching Chad from time to time. If I had to spend time with him , I think he’d drive me crazy lol 😂 our personalities seem polar opposite 😂
You might want to try out some liquid floor Polish. HA HA HA!!!!!!!!
I can't believe you're not putting paint 0n that nice car
Hubcaps, not "hubcap's"; apostrophes don't make nouns plural. Anyway, they look great.
Thanks for commenting. I could give a shit less for your grammar lesson
