- Got my 47 drop axle mounted under my he model T and it looks and feels good. Radiator is solid and looks nice also. I found a couple original fenders on marketplace cheap and close to home, so that’s good right. #classiccar #homemade #replica #modelT truck# #might welding #full size go cart#parade car#metal fabrication
That was a good find on those Model T fenders, and what a deal! You might consider mounting a hydrostatic trans and rear end from a junk lawnmower. Extend the axels out and put chain drive to the rear hubs. Just a suggestion, I've seen that done. No doubt with your talent you'll figure it out. Really enjoying your videos, take care Jeremy and watch out for this heat!
@@juniornunley5412 I was thinking of that exact thing you described. It might be that or a small 3 speed transmission with a torque type belt clutch. Not sure yet. Probably whatever falls into my hands. Thank you much for following along!
Maybe you could make it a chain drive rear end. Some old large trucks were chain drive and so were some old model t truck conversions.
@@blaircrocker9845 yes I think something like that would be a great option and look right. Thanks for watching!
Crossmember, grille and headlights look great - factory even. Sweet deal on the fenders too!! For the motor/drive system maybe you could make something that looks like the early Mack (1910s - 1920s) chain drive rear wheels...
@@garyscarstuff thanks Gary! Yeah something like that could be made to look good, maybe big sprockets off some old farm machinery of some kind
We scabbed crap together 65 years ago and i bet it was still intact when it hit the scrap yard 😮😮😮😅
@@patrickfahring6086 yeah me too. I’ve seen some pretty sketchy stuff hold together better than you’d think. I built a four wheeler and rode it very hard for years. Nothing ever broke. Always looked like something would break at any time. 😝 lol
It's hard to belive you found all those model T parts in those appliances. I think I found some hidden floor pans for my 1940 ford hidden in the good of a 1991 F350. Person just has to keep his eye open to find all those hard to find panels. Good work on building this
@@jamesferrell9404 thanks for watching James. Hope all goes good with your floor pans
@@mywaymanufacturing2817 it's not got to be structural as I've used inch and half tubing to build all that back in. It just needs to really hold my feet up
@@jamesferrell9404 that’s a good way to do it
what type of engine are you going to run in the t
@@GeorgiaRidgerunner looking at a 14-20 hp side shaft . Whatever I can find for a good price. Maybe run power through a torque type go cart clutch , maybe also a three speed transmission. I would like to have reverse
@@mywaymanufacturing2817 they make a gear box with reverse for go carts
its not stupid expensive nor is it real cheap either
