@@juniornunley5412 I know that amazed me too! They looked the same, and they were. Just a different bolt pattern for the wheel, otherwise identical

No that's a squareback spindle. (46-48, maybe 42) Look at Eliza's, they're round where the backplate bolts on. lots of disc brake kits were available. Many used chevy rotors.

if you planning on running chevrolet disc brakes on the t thats a wise decision the hot rod guys generally used 70's camaro rotors and calipers
in conjunction with a corvete dual pot master cylinder im sure you already know this but in case you dont a single pot master cylinder isnt a really good idea because if you develop a leak from say fluid line or wheel cylinder you just dont have any brakes the dual pot cylinder will be a much safer option and you wont lose all braking ability
for you it may be better to buy the disc brake conversion kit granted its about one thousand dollars but its a bolt on kit
if you buy each part individually its cheaper and you will need a lathe to make a bushing chad over at this and that garage y.t. channel has a video on converting his 40 ford hot rod to disc brakes and names off most of the parts needed to do a disc brake conversion the video is recent also chad is pretty good about responding to comments and questions from viewers im sure he would be happy to give you advice
There could come a time when I do a disc brake conversion on the 40. If I do I’ll check out the video u mentioned. Right now all the drum brake stuff is still new and working okay. U are right with the single pot master cylinder and a leak, losing all brakes is a bit concerning. The model t is going to have pretty minimal brakes just enough to stop it. Maybe rear only.thanks for following along!
