Congratulations on the new baby! So excited for you and your family! I enjoyed this episode so much, the yarn, the finished pieces, the projects you are working on. Looking forward to see more of your new sock design ❤
Thank you so much, Yessy! Elowen has brought so much joy to our family. She is such a blessing and I can't wait to travel to meet her. My nana heart is sad that they live so very far away but knowing how happy they are in HI brings me joy. Have a beautiful weekend, my friend! xoxo Judy

Hi Judy - congratulations on the arrival of your new granddaughter. That rosebud cardigan you knit for her is adorable (and free is always nice too). I might just have to knit one. Looking forward to seeing you in Maine. If possible, please bring a skein of silky wool. I’d love to see it in person. Enjoy apple picking! 💕💕💕 Beverly
Hi Beverly!! It's so good to hear from you with all your sweet words!! Elowen has brought such joy to our family and we really needed it after a traumatic spring. I think you would really enjoy knitting the Rosebud and honestly, the designer is such a kind soul. I will definitely bring some Silky Wool with me to the retreat, it's such a unique yarn and is best appreciated in person. Talk soon, the retreat can't get here soon enough for me!
Finally watched! Did not disappoint 🎉 Everything is beautiful and I LOVE your new cardigan design!! I always love seeing you. It truly makes my day. Happy knitting my friend ❤
You're the best Kim always so supportive of me and my channel!!! Sending all the love back to you and looking forward to your next podcast, miss you!!💕💕💕
The socks are just darling! I can't wait for the pattern to be released. I had also forgotten about the shop update and was excited to see some pink. Of course I had to order. ◡̈
Great to see you podcast again. And congratulations on your new granddaughter! I’ve finally got around to knitting your Sand Art Cardigan. The sleeves were fun and now trekking through the body! 😘
Hi Loraine and thank you for watching! It had been way too long and I am so happy to be back : ) I'm so happy to hear you're knitting the Sand Art Cardigan, I really love the fit on that one and yes, the sleeves are a blast (for a change, right? ).
@@TheAutumnAcornKnits yes and just started attaching them to body (took me a minute to fathom the logistics of it though - my brain wouldn’t compute 🙄). So I’m getting there. I’m a slow knitter!
I feel about your "Caterpillar Cardi" the way you feel about the "Talula!" Cant wait to get my hands knitting your pattern: It's lovely Judy! Yeah Luv pink for any sweater, sock, shawl, ...☺️ Love your avocado-dyed yarn; so pretty! Sweet Baby Elowen...sigh...🥰❤️🧶
Awwww, that's so kind of you to say, Deborah!! I'm enjoying knitting on it so much that I want to ignore everything else, but alas, that is not the way it goes, is it? - LOL. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind words! I can feel the love : )
Thank you Dorothy! I'm having a ball making them and I stuck a flower pair in my car and they look cute and keep all that dirt and dust at bay. Thanks for watching!
Hi Judy, another lovely episode! Congratulations on the beautiful new addition to your family :) I would love to apply to test knit your new sock pattern but I wouldn't be able to cast on for a couple of weeks as I'm going away. The texture looks so pretty! I am not much of a sock knitter and definitely prefer a vanilla sock but these look so cute! Thank you for chatting with me for a while 🥰Kathryn x x x
Hello Kathryn! So fun to find you here : ). I do agree that vanilla socks rule but every once in a great while, I try the textured socks. They take me forever but in the end, I am more proud of my more difficult creations. Oh well, I'll still continue to prefer vanilla!! I hope you have a fantastic vacation and that we get to see a glimpse of it when you podcast again. Happy Friday! xoxo Judy
Hello Judy! Congratulations on your new grand baby! The dress you knit for her is adorable! I would love to try to needle punch and I was wondering if you’d consider selling kits. The coasters you made are so cute and useful! Thank you for another lovely podcast! Take care my friend! 😊❤️
Hi Bobbi!! So lovely to see your message. I have thought about selling punch needle kits. I'm just working on finding the perfect suppliers. The coasters are so much fun and there are many other items you an make. I'm even working on wall hangings. It's fun and quite addictive too!! xoxo Judy
Beautiful projects! I have to use post it notes when I use charts. I wish I had time to test your new socks but I have a sweater test knit right now. I will make them when the pattern is released!
Thank you love!! The post it notes might have to come out soon - LOL. I've only read colorwork charts on a pullover and a hat so there were no purl rows. The purl rows had my head spinning at first, but it's easy once you get a rythym. We'll see how I do as I get into the more difficult sections. Finger crossed!!
Thank you so much Donna! I knit the second size, which is 36.75" finished chest circumference. I typically wear a size medium. I used a US 6 + US 5 needle. I do wish I'd gone up a needle size. I think it would have given me a bit more ease and drape. Good luck with yours and please share if you decide to knit one!!
Hi Judy , do you think the silky wool feel anything like Barocco Remix? I am using remix light which is a DK but feels like a sport also and have heard from others the same. Went down a needle size to get gauge. Looks a little like it but can’t feel thru the screen lol. Love your new sock pattern.
I haven't worked with Berocco Remix but my friend, Marie has so I can ask her. It does sound like the two yarns are very similar though. Thank you for the love on my new sock pattern, that means a lot to me Judy!!
You are a love and a comfort to me, sweet friend!! I'll be sending you over the Apple Orchard Sock pattern this weekend so get ready for it!! Big hugs, Judy xoxo
