Being a scare actor for so long, Nick is just blood in the water for us. He’s the type of guest that is so much fun to mess with and talk about him with other scare actors.
I'm glad to hear it because I'd worried it was the opposite. Some of the actors looked like they didn't know how to react. It does seem like a fun job, however difficult it might be to avoid CoVid variants in close quarters with an audience like that.

Fast forward to 2016, my partner, Mark, suggested we should try out to be scare actors for Knotts Scary Farm’s sister park, ValleySCARE (Valleyfair). And it was like riding a bike. When you get that first scream, it’s addicting. I scare acted at three different haunts since then. This year was different because I was hired to be a main character in the land I was in for a more family friendly event. It was a big paradigm shift, but I had so much fun!
I know Matteo is the professional comedian, but Nick is the funny one lol. I could watch Nick dramatically experience anything. Please send him on a Louisiana swamp tour.

My favorite observation is that whether it’s a haunted house or walking down the street to get groceries, Nick’s level of … uuhhh Nickness … is 100% consistent 😂

You got this :-) - I get so nervous every time my friends drag me to a haunted house but once you’re in there it goes by so fast and it’s a lot of fun ! And the feeling after is actually rewarding :)
The nerves before tend to be more scary then the event itself. Trick your brain into expecting the worse and its never that bad in the reality of it. It's also a good adrenaline rush and a level of excitement because you went through one. Just be sure to not hit or kick the scare actors, I have almost done it a few times since that's how I react
When people jump out and you don't like how scary they are or how close they are just yell, "you dropped your phone" It'll work to get them to break character and look around at least once, and you can scuttle off to the next terror.
Go with somebody who will hold your hand. I went for the first time with a friend who is a total G in the haunted house and it was great because I was having a heart attack but they were smiling hahaha
