Nathan.... Thanks so much for the well narrated videos. I had the dreaded roll over valve leak causing my fuel odor. Anyway, watched your video and pulled the tank, replaced the roll over valve as well as the fuel pump while I was there. Had this 03 Trailblazer EXT for about 3 mos now and I feel so much more confident in my driveway mechanic skills watching your videos. Really appreciate it.
Why that tricky little gasoline leak😃 sometimes I see have to do dismantling to find the root cause👍 thanks for the slow go-around filming of components of gas tank, connections, lines etc... Under vehicle not easy to see all those, perfecto👌
I have this code on a 2003 Buck century. I Replaced the fuel tank sensor as my code reader said most likely problem.. 1st with a junk yard one and then with a new pressure sensor...Seemed fine for a while and the code came back..So after this vid im leaning towards a hidden leak..I have another cap on now to see maybe thats the issue...Its intermittent and I cant seem to force the code like putting the car under load. I do not smell gas anywhere. I did have the fuel pump out a few times because my level sensor got wonky and I just put another one in but that ended up being a wire at the computer...I drove the car several times today and the code only appeared after 25 miles. The computer doesnt throw the code immediately if cleared.
I'm getting the same code P0452 I replace the fuel pressure sensor in the back of the tank it was Broken. Did your fuel gauge goes all the way to full with accesories on then to Empty when start the truck? thats whats happening to me. I thought it could be the sending unit. Either way I'm dropping the tank tomorrow, thanks for posting and whitout a smoke machine is very difficult to properly diagnose Evap sistems.
@@FixingWithPassion Update soo I have replace soo far the fuel sensor on the tank sending unit along with the seal and metal retainer. I replace the purge valve Today and p0452 keeps coming. There's a line the comes out the back of the purge valve the merge to a metal line the is corroded thats all I can think off. It looks like tire pressure valve with a green lid the say hand tight only.

Man i made a little door under my back seat right over fuel pump,took 15 min to change my pump

Its the sending unit sounds like or stuck float.
