The ink tank system appears to be much better than the cartridge system th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 and a lot cheaper to run. The machine was easy to set up. A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.

I have a canon and it uses 244/245 can I still convert ..I found sublimation ink to fit it but won’t transfer..what I am I doing wrong ..? Because I brought sublimation items but won’t transfer

I have had an epson WF 7710 for about 6 years it’s just been sitting several years , I used it a hand full of times with regular ink , could if be converted to a sublimation printer? I can’t find anything on you tube that indicates it .
Oh, PLEASE tell me you’re going to incorporate using your sublimation printer into your tutorials. I bought this EXACT PRINTER two years ago and I’ve used it maybe twice. I’m so afraid of messing up products that I haven’t used it. My original plans for usage was for T-shirts and such, but now I know I can use it for cups and tumblers... still nervous about using it. I’ve already converted it and I know it works, that’s it

I found the same WF7710, But it's discontinued and the replacement that it advertised was WF7820. I have also read a review that EcoTank ET 2720 was convertible to sublimation? I haven’t heard about that. Check out cosmos ink. There have the conversation kits and if he doesn’t have it then it may not be able to Convert

Can someone tell me if you can convert Epson wf-2540 to a sublimation printer. And If so what replacement refillable cartridges can be used and do they have to have the chips on them.. please I am so lost in this journey
Can you convert printer using regular and then turn it into sublimation printer? Would that still work ?
That’s exactly what she’s done. Watch the start of the video she states you need to run regular ink through the printer first to ensure the printer works ok for later troubleshooting if needed
I have the EPSON 4100, all of the cartridges snapped in well and clicked. But my printer is not recognizing any of the ink cartridges. I did it multiple times like you stated in your video. Do you have any advice?
Same here I have done it several times and cannot get it to work at all, I am about to give up. so stressed out over it
So running the sub ink through a printer after regular ink wont clog or mess up the printer operation?
No it won’t! You just have to get a printer that is compatible with sub ink. Which are printers with reusable cartridges.
Do the syringes come with ink or do you buy them separately and if so where do I buy them?
They come with the ink.
Is it possible to do this with a second hand printer that was used for regular printing?
Yes. This printer is a regular printer. Not made for sublimation but converted.

hey, i just got a epson xp 5100 and I cant seem to get the printer to take the sub ink, it keeps saying cartridge installed incorrectly or press down the ink cartridge. Any ideas on what i may be doing wrong?

They may have not answered because you can't convert that one. No 4k series workforce can be converted to sub

Around the 15 min mark in this video youre talking about puncturing the original printer cartridges because we wouldve run through reg ink ... i thought we arent running test sheets to run reg ink through.

Can you change it back to a regular printer?
If you do, make sure all of the sublimation ink is out of the lines. It may take a lot of test prints to get the sublimation ink out of the lines.

Everyone says never to put the original ink in or you can't use it for sublimation ink ever again, but I see that you already had the original ink in there. Which is the truth?
The original ink came with the printer. I have never used the original ink with the printer. That may be the confusion
@@MissKissKreations ok. I thought you said to put the original ink in to make sure it worked and that nothing was wrong with printer and to rule out if there was a problem with sub ink.

@@NoNonsenseNan it is my understanding that you have to put the original ink in the slots to make sure the printer sets up. Like go through the process of like recognizing there is ink in the slots and ready to print.
BUT DO NOT PRINT A TEST PAGE OR ANYTHING WITH THE INK THAT COMES WITH THE PRINTER!
If you do then it can not be converted to sublimation!
Once the printer is setup and ready to print, you change the ink cartridges to the sublimation cartridges then you can print with the sublimation ink for sublimation.
I hope this explains it and helps you understand to process. And un confuses the directions.
