@@SouthpawsStudio I think it might be my issue because my father in law used this printer for 100 plus tumblers and gave it to me to use it since he’s not anymore and the picture just seem so dull and kinda faded after it prints and some small lines in it. Wish there was a way to send a picture for more information lol

As always well explained..Question-i have a file I printed out and the colors were spot on when i went to go print more and the colors were off(for example was yellow flower was pink) I fooled around in settings trying to get it back and no luck. Hi there. The windows monitor calibration tool is basic, I've tried this many times. The best way to calibrate your monitor is to use a proper calibrating device, like a X-Rite i1 Display Pro, or the i1 Studio, which calibrates printers, scanners, and more, I have the i1 Studio and the software tests more than you get in the windows amateur calibration. Try it, the ambient light in the room makes a difference to. Regards Gary
Hi ! Nice video ! I do the same thing than you but I get red tint on all my picture. Using Epson 7720, Cosmos ink, Image Right R paper. I can change ICM by Manual Control and drop down value of Magenta... but I can't get a perfect picture.... I'm asking if I change brand of ink, do it will print better ? Tested on Chromalux blanks and 100% polyester fabric. I try to figure out what is the real problem. Any advice ? Thx a lot ! ;)
Looks like I need to get photo shop... lol well at least I got the monitor set up. I have a epson fl170 ... it already makes everything mirrored because it is a true sub lamination printer, but yours definitely has more settings.
Need advice with my WF 7710...All of a sudden it stopped printing vibrant colors....I have tried everything you suggested plus all the cleanings, etc. Nothing is working,

Possibly moisture. From what im finding tonight, a print isn't fully dried or cured until 24 hours. But you can use a fan or hair dryer or heat gun to shorten dry time and to make it gas off faster. Moisture is the enemy of sublimation. I can't fing anything on youtube or google where anyone gives advice on how long to let a sub print dry before sublimating it onto a tumbler... not...one... lol
I had a design where the grey areas turned out purpley-maroon. When I found your video and calibrated my monitor I actually noticed that my monitor was displaying grey in a purpley-maroon. Could the discolouration in my monitor cause my printer to print discoloured? I am just wondering if the monitor calibration alone is a solution to my grey-maroon print/press colour problem
I just got an Epson ET-2720 for my birthday. I have used it maybe 10 times. The first couple times I printed out a design that had a teal/turquoise color on it, it turned out perfect. Now that I am trying to print the same exact design, the teal/turquoise color is blue. I can't get it to go to the correct color for anything. I've tried so many things and nothing has helped. Do you have any advice for me?

So, if I have a full color image or photo, already created (maybe purchased online or saved from online), would I still bring into PS & change mode to CYMK? So after calibrating my monitor, I want to print something that is (monster) purple and (Harley) orange, but it prints more like pink and reddish orange. How do I use the color chart to correct them in the settings again? When I change the color setting in my software (CorellDraw) the color isn't changing on my screen. Awesome Video! Do you have issues with Pizza roller marks when using high saturated colors or in general? Seem to be having issues on and off. Cleaned the Pizza rollers in the printer and changed to a better paper( Texprint) and still same issue after a few prints., Damaging so many products and papers.
If you experience those wheel marks, try using less ink by using a different paper setting. On hard substrates, try using High Quality Plain Paper instead of Presentation Matte.
MY COLORS WHEN PRINTED OUT CHART WHERE MORE ON THE PINK AND BROWN PEACH AND YELLOW SIDE COULD THAT MEAN I DID SOMETHNG WRONG IN CALIBRATION CHART? Forgive me for all the caps.
Basically, it gives you a known value of the output.. If you need "Coca Cola Red" you know what the output is and can just pull the color from the color chart in the software.
I followed everything in this video but I"m still struggling getting yellow and greens to produce vividly, or greens come out blue. I downloaded my ink's ICC profile, I have emptied the blue and yellow inks completely and refilled them, did nozzle cleanings galore... please help!!! Mine took close to 20.
Are you using a downloaded ICC color profile from your ink supplier in Photoshop or are you just using straight-up Photoshop settings to do this? I use Sawgrass inks and their profile and the colors that actually sublimate practically never remotely match even though I have followed their settings to a T. I’m wondering if I should ditch their ICC profile altogether.

I usually keep the color chart file saved on desktop as a reference. If I need a certain color, I match it with the printed chart and then go into the file and extract the CMYK, RGB or Hexadecimal color code for it.
I'm having the same issue Epson ET2710 all my reds are coming out brownish and blues are almost purple and when pressed they get even darker, (I'm on Windows) I've tried with both PS and Coral Draw. @Southpaw's Studio any ideas???? (I'm almost at the stage of throwing the printer out of a top floor window).

If it gives you too much trouble, just go chipless firmware and they'll always show full.

On your printer's setting, what peper type do you have selected? Is it Prem. Matte as well?

First thing I would do is a nozzle check on the printer to make sure all heads are firing as expected.

Can I ask, why do you not let 'photoshop manage colors' and use the Cosmos Ink color profile?

You can still do this. In theory, the colors shouldn't change much.

I need a little more explanation of how to use the color chart. What would 4 and 01 mean ... how do I use it?
Basically, it gives you a known value of the output.. If you need "Coca Cola Red" you know what the output is and can just pull the color from the color chart in the software.

Yes, "Converting" is nothing more than replacing the cartridges and ink. You can technically do it anytime.

I’m using the default Epson software and profiles. The Cosmos ink is designed to run with the stock profiles
