Why are the comments on for this type of video but not on ones with Trudeau?
Because people can’t be reasonable when discussing politics these days. There’s a lot of extremism and comments often devolve into threats and name-calling. I manage social media for an area of government, and there are hot button topics I know i have to close comments on. It reduces conflict on our accounts.

You’re a censorship creep!
The real reason the comments are closed when the Liberal/NDP government is the topic is so they can protect the Liberals.
That’s it, that’s all.
I can’t wait until we defund state propaganda!

The reason to show this topic on the news is to claim as Asylum seeker and support Indian international students whoever in Canada .
Never thought of that. You could very well be right.
Watch "Keep sweet, pray and obey" and realize all hardcore versions of patriarchal religions are like this and the cultures influenced by it. Always vote for secularism so you can practise religion and culture reasonably. Always vote for womens and girls rights
Wedding vows....... I do, should be changed to I will..... men see it as their right.......
Turn your comments on across your videos so Canadians can actually see what other Canadians think and feel, instead of engineering consent with your content.
Yes
What makes you think it's Canadians commenting on Trudeau and not Russians and Americans who want him out
Canadians do not have free speech. You live under a dictator
Thanks CBC for sharing this topic. Will warn family. Tax dollars well spent.
I lived in India for 5 years. Can you start painting a more accurate version of India?
You and the New York Times constantly show the worse aspects of India. Imagine if all you showed about Canada was the crime, would that represent the country?
Why don’t you talk more about the economic development, cheapest data and internet in the world, and incredible transformation of UPI/cell phone payment system which is nearly unmatched.
I’m getting tired of this agenda. Shame on you.
True. The other thing is Canadians and Americans watching think this doesn't happen there and won't become mainstream again, yet they have conservative influencers trying to take rights away from women all the time to achieve literally this. Report on that plz
Indians are fleeing India by the hundreds of thousands every year, there's a reason for that.
Keep this aside what happened to "credible allegation".....another thing justin official Canadian govt plane doesn't have wifi 😅.... and why comment section is off in all the videos of yours....
you being a Canadian journalist not going to change anything in India but what you can do is to cover up the failures of the current Canadian governments failures. You guys are not making the government accountable for their poor leadership and decision making in this country. Rather you guys take the ride together and enjoy tax payers hard earned money.

Does this look like India to you? Who cares?!
