50 here and working out hard. Have a wife if 16 years and 3 girls. Been on the rocks for years. I tend to think that toxic woman aren’t keen to following these rules like the masses. It’s like they shock you with something else stupid. Playing the victim all the time and guilting you. Here’s what I find works ( you likely mentioned this too Casey ). Just give them a big break and do your own thing. I mean you literally have to disconnect and it’s hard at first but it seems to get easier, the more you do it. One day, perhaps we’ll be all done. Idk anymore but if she perceives you are attached still, she looks at you as lower status like Casey says and literally believes she’s got the leverage. She’ll hardly text and leave you on no contact for days even. It’s at that point… you literally have to DISCONNECT your feelings so you don’t even care anymore. Something in their head feels this and they reach out. DO NOT GET ALL HEART THROBBED for her again because of this. The cycle will start again. Woman are a bloody disaster man
