I was approved for a $25,000 credit limit. Will they approve a cli after 60 days if I continue to pay my balance in full before the statement closing date?
Hi Dayana. Great video! My question is this. I have had the BCP Amex card for 13 months. Low initial limit of $3k. I spend between $1k to $2k a month on the card and pay my balance in full each month. All payments in last 13 months have been on time. No lates. So, the only way to get the CLI is to request it? I was waiting for Amex to increase my CL automatically after one year, but nothing! So, basically just request an increase to $9k via chat?
Hey, If you haven't received a cl increase after a year, I would try the 3x method since asking for an increase with amex has no effect on your credit score. How many amex credit cards do you currently have?
@@DayanaPlays I got the BCP Amex in 08/2021 (3k limit), the Amex Gold card in 02/2022 and the Hilton Honors Amex in 07/2022 (also a $3k limit), so a total of 3 Amex cards. No automatic CLI from Amex to date. Annual income is $115k and I pay my Amex balances in full every month with no lates. So, you would suggest requesting the 3x increase on my first card BCP right away or will the multiple Amex cards complicate my getting CLI on the BCP card? Thank you!
@@HOODTOURS absolutely she is right. While watching this video I did exactly what she said I went from 4k$ limit to 12k$ limit just by requesting like she said plus it only takes a minute it’s super user friendly and easy

That would be great and again appreciate your feedback and confirmation!
How often does Amex offer a cli without one requesting it ? Also, I have the Amex blue cash preferred card with a $25,000 limit, do you think they'd approve an increase of $15,000 giving me a $40,000 credit limit?
I got my Amex delta gold card with a 8k limit back in July of last year Is that any good? Especially since my history is new i thought it was really strange
When you open a AMEX charge card what do they report to the bureaus for a “credit limit”? Or is it like a business credit card where it doesn’t report on your personal card?
It’s get reported to the bureaus and if you carry a balance it reflects it. Because it doesn’t have a preset limit it either shows 0 balance or whatever your carry over balance is.
Hey, no limit is reported since charge cards have no preset spending limit. However, your cards balance will be reported to the bureaus, so make sure to pay it in full on a monthly basis as the card should be paid. Hope that makes sense! 🤗
They are both correct. The balance on the charge card is reported to the credit bureaus, however since you have NO credit limit, credit utilization is not reported...

Great video!! I have two AMEX cards and I also noticed that they are very generous with credit limits. I also noticed Fidelity is even more generous! But you need to have a Fidelity account. I also GUESS that Charles Swabb may be very generous because as well as Fidelity they deal with borrowers who have securities and they tend to be more financially stable. If you know of any other Credit Card issuer that is Generous on Credit Limit, please let me know. I think even if I don't use it, having a high credit limit impress employers or anybody that pulls your credit.

i got blue chash preferred and they gave me 25k to start, does that mean i cant request a credit limit without them giving me that form?
Your info is butter..thx
Thanks!! 🤎🤎
Does this work for all Amex cards like the Blue Cash Everyday card or just the Blue Cash Preferred?
Currently available for all Amex personal cards.
I was approved for a $25,000 credit limit. Will they approve a cli after 60 days if I continue to pay my balance in full before the statement closing date?
Hey is the amex bcp the only amex card you have?
If i have 3 Amex cards and I 3x one of them a month ago when can i 3x another card?
@@TheMercadoChannel Thank you for the confirmation! I too submitted the online CLI on the Amex website and was approved for $9k credit line (original line $3k). This was my 1st Amex card. I will wait til I am at 6 months on my second Amex credit card and try to get CLI on that card as well... at that point I'll have $21k in credit lines across two Amex credit cards plus my Amex Gold card. That would be great and again appreciate your feedback and confirmation!
@@TheMercadoChannel so after you 3x can you 3x it again later
Really enjoy your videos even though I live in the UK. Need to try and find a channel like yours which talks about UK credit cards 😅
That's awesome! Thanks for watching Patryk! 💜
How often does Amex offer a cli without one requesting it ? Also, I have the Amex blue cash preferred card with a $25,000 limit, do you think they'd approve an increase of $15,000 giving me a $40,000 credit limit?
Waiting for a reply, 🙏
@@elbori4365 Were you approved?
Thanks your method work for me!!
Congrats!!! 🥳
I got my Amex delta gold card with a 8k limit back in July of last year Is that any good? Especially since my history is new i thought it was really strange
My starting limit was 25k on the bce, what’s your thoughts on the amount I should ask for
When you open a AMEX charge card what do they report to the bureaus for a “credit limit”?
Or is it like a business credit card where it doesn’t report on your personal card?
It’s get reported to the bureaus and if you carry a balance it reflects it. Because it doesn’t have a preset limit it either shows 0 balance or whatever your carry over balance is.
Hey, no limit is reported since charge cards have no preset spending limit. However, your cards balance will be reported to the bureaus, so make sure to pay it in full on a monthly basis as the card should be paid.
Hope that makes sense! 🤗
They are both correct. The balance on the charge card is reported to the credit bureaus, however since you have NO credit limit, credit utilization is not reported...
i played around with my platinum and plugged in 15k and was approved. I did want to test it further its scary hahah
hi dayana is it posible to ask for a credit increase 0n my amex card, and apply for another card at the same time?
Hey, I don't see why that would be a problem. I would first ask for the cl increase and then apply for the new card. 😊
Excelente explicacion sobre como aumentar el limite de la TDC amex.. fui 12.5k a 20k de aprobacion inmediata. felicidades me suscribi a tu canal, un gran abrazo
Congrats amigo! 💙
Wow! 😮😮It worked! I didn’t ask for 3x though…I just went from 6k to 10k☺️
Yay!!! Congrats on your new limit! 🔥🔥
Thank you for your advice !
You got it! 😊
The option must have been recently restored, cause I increased my BCP through my online account, from $4000 - $12000
Yea, when preparing for the video I couldn't find it on the portal, so I contacted customer service, who confirmed it had been removed. BTW thanks for dropping by! 😊
💯🎯
Hi i have two amex card just had my limit increase in the other one, can i request also in the other one?
You have to wait 180 days between CLI with AMEX
Great research as usual! Thank you 🎉
💜💜
Always appreciate the content 💳🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much, Jef! 😊
Thanks for sharing this valuable information Dayana!
You're welcome my friend! 💜
It worked! I went from a $9k credit limit to $24k on my "blue cash preferred"
Did you start with 9k or 3k and how did you wait for credit limit increase
@@MrDigztheswagking I've had the card for just over 6 months. My initial credit line was $6k then they randomly increased it to $9k last month. So then yesterday I requested $24k and made the jump there from $9k. Hope that helps
Ok thanks
That's amazing congrats!!! 🥳
Great video.. I just got my Amex card in June which is my only card with them. My limit was 10k plus when I was approved. Just received my SUB recently. So I should ask for a CLI in December less than 25k?
Congrats on your Amex card! 🥳
If you'd like to increase your cl on the card then yea!
@@DayanaPlays Love your content an super helpful. My question is does the request of a CLI comes with a hard pull?
Would like to get an increase on my Blue Cash Everyday Card.
What about a hard inquirie when you ask for a increase
Hey! Amex only does a soft pull for cl increases.
So get partner with amazing credit and then request?
WOW! Thank you!
There's great information in here Dayana
Thank you so much, bud. Keep up the great work on your channel. 😊
Thank you 🙏🏼
Now how can I increase my credit limit on both my American express cards at the same time?
I Was denied on the 61st day I reapplied after a few weeks my original limit was 8k went to 15k. I use my card a lot and pay it back on time. Can I apply again for an increase if yes then when?
Thank you.
You're welcome! 💙
Today increases 2 card( 1000>3000) and 5000>10000 👍🏼
Nice! 😊
I love this breakdown =)
Thanks bud! 💙
How often can you request for CL increase?
Every 180 days
Great video!! I have two AMEX cards and I also noticed that they are very generous with credit limits. I also noticed Fidelity is even more generous! But you need to have a Fidelity account. I also GUESS that Charles Swabb may be very generous because as well as Fidelity they deal with borrowers who have securities and they tend to be more financially stable. If you know of any other Credit Card issuer that is Generous on Credit Limit, please let me know. I think even if I don't use it, having a high credit limit impress employers or anybody that pulls your credit.
