I'm about to sell my 2012 grabber blue Mustang GT manual with only 23K miles for a 2015 Civic Si. I've come to realize horsepower isn't everything. What matters is being more in touch with the road and being in a car that's not elevated and large/heavy.

The "oh blank" handles are designed primarily to assist in getting in and out of the car, though they can also be used during those "oh blank" moments. Considering that, it makes perfect sense that the driver would have one.

I have the exact same car and I absolutely love it!
This car came with a body kit consisted of front spoiler, side and rear skirt which costs ~$1200 extra.
Dave, why didn't you mention the fact that you have the front, side and rear underbody spoilers and show a pop up pic of one with out it? Cool review...as always.

I was looking at buying an ILX 6 speed or a TLX V6 Advanced and ended up buying a 2014 Civic SI Sedan in Dyno Blue. I could not rationalize spending 7k more for a ILX or 20k more for the TLX. It's just me and my Golden Retriever and the sedan works great. I also wanted another SI as I bought a CRX SI new in 1987. These cars are just to much fun...

Drive oh ship handle is for when you have a right hand drive vehicle. They make as much compatible for each country.
for the issue with the space in the back guys open their legs and gals close their legs and put to the side that's usually what happens with me being 6ft tall in a coupe.

I like the 2015 civic si. It's a fun car to drive. If you put a turbo in it. The car will make 300 hp on 5 to 8 psi. The k20 or k24 motor are the best for na or boost. Honda Power Of Dreams.
are Honda motors capable of daily boost though? do the internals last just as long on 8 psi as if it was NA?

All the Civic Si needs is a new interior layout and bigger spoiler(for the coupe it needs smaller tail lights). The 2 tier dash is getting old.

The rear seat release things are in the trunk.. I would really like to know how the hell you're supposed to use them in the coupe version. In my 2012 sedan non si, they don't release the seat and keep it released- if that makes sense. I have to pull the thing and with my other hand pull the seat forward (so, have one hand in the trunk pulling that thing, and the other going through the window/door pulling the seat forward at the same time). This is the only decent looking civic, at least from the exterior..interior still looks cheap...and as I said in one of your other vids it's probably just because of the color. Still looks like the dash is one big piece of plastic, as it is on my 2012.
U sure its not a defective latch/spring? Odd that you'd have to pull the handle while pushing on the seat. Or maybe the dealer just forgot to include the stick used to push on the seat from the back lmao

+reaj2010 are you a fucking idiot. Jeeps are fucking slow. This is the Civc SI not a base. I dare you to race a civic SI in a jeep wrangler. You will loose every fucking time, Better yet run my RSX-S with the k20 motor from the 8th gen civic SI. 200hp stock but im making 215 rignt now. Id smoke any fucking jeep unless it was an SRT-8. anystock jeep. Jeeps are fucking slow as fuck, everyone knows that. even the sports are slow. 285hp but weighs 4000lbs. lol i weigh like 1200lbs lighter and have less drivetrain loss. Id smoke that even if i was stock. From a dig, from a roll wouldnt matter, id walk that shit all fucking day. Jeeps are meant for offloading which 90 percent of the owner base doesn't even fucking do. They are not fast on the street they are fast offload.
Dave, I need some advice. Between the honda civic si (probably the sedan) and the mazda 3, which one would you prefer? I have to buy a car in a few months and im looking for a fun to drive car but also a practical daily driver. Oh yes and i prefer manuals :)

Jhonni Yes i am. I have about 4 months so im doing a good amount of research. I always loved hot hatches. I like the looks of a GTi, its refinement, the feel and the engine noise.
Im also looking at a civic si and wondering which one would be better.
The new mustang is really good considering how it has a independent rear suspension (thank you ford!!). But I also want a more practical car. Something I can drive to a more professional event, something i can bring back groceries (or scrap metal and bits and components for stuff i keep building) and carry 4 people to a nice spot to enjoy a weekend with a cooler full of beer.
Its hard to satisfy all these needs while having a need for fun driving. So far I've narrowed it down to a Gold GTI, WRX (maybe i cant afford that) and a Civic Si. I think ill keep in touch with you to see what car you end up buying
Jhonni Thats very true. The other thing i dont like about subaru is that they feel cheap on the inside. Its awesome how they pass on those savings to the customer but sometimes i do want to sit inside a car that doesnt feel that "Plastic-iy".

Nice review. I don't like the SI engine from Honda. Unless you are revving the crap out of it I found it sluggish. I'd rather have more torque so it would have more power at a usable RPM. Honda needs to start to use Turbos. A RWD car in there line up cars would do wonders for their image as well

Owning a stick shift sports car has always traditionally been the thing & honda just wanted to keep it that way & they're still selling both si & base trim civics like nothing so I'm sure they're fine with the choice they made :)
+TheCashistrash its not what the computer can or cant do, its the pure joy of driving. you are probably right ,these days a automatic could get better, but short of traffic the joy of controlling the shifting of the car just cant be beat.

Sad thing is you will not see those nice red seats if you actually sees one at the dealership. They always give reviewer a fully loaded car with features commonly not in a car you see in a lot.

Dan Man I'll give Honda for reliability but I had a 2007 Civic Coupe before ans it was not the best experience. Seating is too low like ur being trap in a cocoon. Heavy door and seating makes it hard to get in and out everytime.

Not pleased with what I see , you spend $32,000 Cnd and it doesn't have a rear cupholder and that dash is just awful !! Looks like no temp gauge and of course not volts or oil gauges . Loose the two tier crap and use better materials . The dash looks like cheap plastic . If your going to build a sport car then put more info on the dash . 😝

VW GLI has better Mpg, 5 more horses, Much more rear leg room, designed by Germans and is Much better looking in my opinion, just my 2 cents.
