    They really do look like pansies! Especially the purple and white one! Every time I watch one of your videos, I want to make one just like it!

    Amazing as usual! I tried one of your techniques. I did a bit too much white. haha. I am going to try the pansy though. :)

      Smaller scissors make it a little easier to snip a micro sized piece off the bag. :-)

    Love these! I think I make my lines too thick sometimes and the end up blending too much. Happy Easter 🐰

    I have soooooo enjoyed watching ALL your flower resin creations! Have you ever tried coloring the white resin after you mix it? So that the outlining resin is a coordinating color with the background petal colors instead of white. I was thinking mix the castin craft white, then add a few drops of ink or color pigment to that. Wondering if it would do the same spreading techniques???

      No, but I'm sure I could. I've used colored powders to draw with color instead of white. I did that for Dahlia and Midnight Sand Dollar.

    These are gorgeous Cathii - thank you for sharing. I have purchased Alina's course but was struggling with which white to use (I'm in Australia) but I do have that white pigment - keen to give it a try :)

    I love all of your work,
    So inspiring! Ive attempted several times however they just end up being a big blob of a mess. They don't spread and just sink to the bottom, tried moving it with heat and it just made it even messier haha does viscousity of resin matter, using a thin slow curing one

    • @CathiiLaPierreArt
      @CathiiLaPierreArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! Use a thicker resin or let yours sit a few minutes before starting.

      Thanks for taking the time to reply! Appreciate it. I think ive got it figured out ive been using casting epoxy resin and its too runny even when ive mixed it beforehand will try with a different kind. Thanks again ❤

    I tried these last night and my white (castin craft) didn't spread like yours. I heated after it was done but this morning it looks just like it did after 30 min. Is there a secret to getting the white to break up? Maybe I am applying too thick? I'm using stone coat artist epoxy that is on the thin side and has a long work time. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! I love these and want to figure out how to get them to look better.

    • @CathiiLaPierreArt
      @CathiiLaPierreArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      More heat. Keep going until it moves. Just keep moving from one to the next so you don't burn it. You can build the heat. You'll see it's melted when you aim inwards and the white moves. Then you stop.

    Ok, question...I heard in one of your videos that you are a licensed nail tech, so am I. I have a ton of colored acrylics, have you ever tried those in resin?

    • @CathiiLaPierreArt
      @CathiiLaPierreArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have not. I.wouldn't mix them as I don't know what chemical reaction might happen. I've never researched it though, so it could be possible.

    Absolutely wonderful!!!! As always! I am going to try to make my flowers)) My question: The bottom clear resin is so thick, did you mixed it at first and let it stay for a while to get little bit thicker and only after that mixed the second portion of resin? thanks! And Happy Easter !!!!

    • @CathiiLaPierreArt
      @CathiiLaPierreArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mix all my resin at the same time. I divide it into cups and mix the colors. By the time I'm done I can start pouring.
