- Well I thought I'd have a go at the the Acrylic Pour Flower Dip Technique and I'm so glad I did! I just love the way this turned out! I used to bottom of a soft drink bottle to pour over. I added extra Australian Floetrol to the gold to encourage some cells. The paper napkin did start to tear but it held together enough. I think This one deserves a coat of resin to bring back the vibrance.

I was a hairdresser for all my life til a brain injury from a car accident
We were rear ended by a woman going 50 mph I was af a red light
My son got me paints to help w my rehab
It reminds me a bit of hair dressing
The chemicals brushes
Smells and stains on my hands
But I’m just learning ad I go
I dk anything about good tools or paints
If you could direct me I’d be thrilled

Very beautiful! Love your Colors. To get the paint to the center just press you finger a bit in that aera of the canvas and the paint will slightly slide reaching itself in the middle. Il love the pistils you added, very good idea! But i thinkI would a waited to add them when the painting is dry. I might be wrong but I believe they would have kept their shape and il would have given a little 3-D dimension to the flower. Very nice painting!
What a great idea! Why didn't I think of that 😉🤔 Yes you are right. I could have added them later. It wouldn't have reacted this way then. I've just done another one using a different paint for the centre that doesn't react. Looks much better 😉

😆 I just responded to your other comment on cutting the bottle straight then I read this comment! I didn't cut it straight. But I then made some adjustments using scissors ✂️ to get it close. It's not perfect. 😉

I found myself holding my breath as you worked on it. Scary! Came out nothing like I thought it would. When you put the napkin on I thought oh no this is the end of it. Then held my breath as you were taking off the napkin. STUNNING! AMAZING! BEAUTIFUL! Much love

Definitely give it a go, it's a simple concept, just make sure you lift the serviette straight up to get the beautiful petals 😉

First time viewer. Gorgeous colour palette. Love the white highlights. I might’ve gone a bit more delicate on the stamen centrepiece but what a stunning result. Great tip to test things out before committing. Allows for more creativity.
