Gorgeous, it's so interesting how they change and are different when you are doing the exact same thing. I found if you let your resin sit for a bit then add your white and make your flowers it will get more wispy like the blue set
Sherry they are all absolutely beautiful. Your instructions are very clear thank you very much for sharing your creativity and knowledge with us. The purple ones are my favorite.💜
Thanks sooooo much and thanks for watching... yes I'm not a pink, purple kinda girl but love these ... could be that amazing glitter hahahah Have a wonderful day 🥰🥰🇨🇦
I love that each one is different and unique! Just like pouring paint, each one is different and unique and beautiful in its own way! Now I have the "life is like a box of chocolates" quote in my head but I'm gonna change it up. "Art is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get!"
they all look great, it's amazing how they turn out like they do, with the difference being in each one, oh I wish I was gifted like you, even just a little bit, tks for showing us your work.
So they all did turn out beautiful. I'm new to the resin community you mention you made something to kerp dust from your work do you have a video on it. Thank you for Sharing.
Thanks so much and thanks for watching. Yes I took a plastic utility shelf and covered it with clear plastic table cloths but now I tend to use those tents for your food. Like these amzn.to/3y3KaJY you can also get them.at the dollar store. 🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦
I'm brand brand new to your channel, and please allow me to say... It was the white 'morphing' into those flowers just blew me away. I have zero experience with resin except to have ordered some that is sitting to this day calling my name. NOW I find your stunning coasters and I am so inspired!!! Thank you so so much for sharing! Very very pretty!
Love them all! I haven't done coasters yet, but I do use a temperature gun to check my different color temps before pouring. @90° the colors will mix together, @105° the colors won't blend together. Must pour resins before 110°. I'm going to try your coasters real soon. Thanks for sharing!
These are the prettiest ones I've seen so far. What a briliant idea! It's almost impossible to get them the same or even similar. Heat, ambient temperature and the amount of pigment in resin has a lot to do with it. They are all beautiful though. Thank you for sharing.❤🤗❤
These are lovely! To prevent the air gaps between the two layers, could you make the flower and the next day do not remove them from the molds and just pour the second layer? I need to try these, love them!
Beautiful! I'm so happy this northern Michigan girl found you! I love love love glitter, I can't get enough of watching you. I need to invest money and get supplies! I am so excited! Thank you for sharing!
Sometimes different colors have different setting times, so the blue one may have been that you let the cleat set up a little longer?? who knows, I'd let the clear resin sit a bit longer before putting in your flower pattern and then it won't spread as much. Great work! Thanks for sharing, I know its a year later, but I love your results. Also I'd number the mold spots to put the exact same one back into its hole so the hardened ones fit perfectly back into the spot they came out of, this may help eliminate the gaps or air pockets.
I love the purple. I saw where someone used a small brush and brushed on the glitter n a mica mixed to the bottom of mold then poured in the clear and did the flower part
Love everything you do. Just a small hint. You can scratch your molds by placing items in them. For instance you placed your bottle of "muse" in the mold while you were mixing the muse into your resin., and also placed the cap of the muse bottle into one of the other molds. These scratches will show up on your cured coasters. Thanks for your detailed instructions and your beautiful creations.
Hi Sherry! Warm greetings from the North of England! I'm trying out your wonderful method right now.... I'll let you know tomorrow if it has worked as well as yours always do. Wish me luck...... 🤞
@@SherryMoulton Hmmm. I think a few factors affected my first attempt (I'm a silver jewellery maker - trying a new medium). Surface wasn't 100% level, my resin was still quite liquid when I put the "top" onto it. Anyway, I've got an air bubble, it's more like a wedge shape and some resin crept up the side. Level surface, more glitter to thicken the resin and leaving for 10-15 minutes should sort out the issues. I had no negative space so all making it a bit tricky as a first attempt. But, still pleased with my first try. I've only been using resin for 6 weeks. Hoping to try again tomorrow. I've also bought a canvas and going to buy some Rustoleum 😍😍😍. Thank you for your tutorials Sherry. I'm not criticising others, but I have genuinely enjoyed your content. Calm, relaxed, easy to understand and follow, even for a newbie. Thanks again. Hoping to try some of your other methods soon. Take care 💖

@@SherryMoulton 💙😊
The difference is the time your resin sat. It gives a different effect at different curing stages. Great technique. I learned something from you.
