    arts and craft stores (an online) sell little plastic bottles that open and have a little pouring nozzle in a ton of different sizes.. you should look into that over using your plastic bag method.. you can let the resin drip out and cure in the bottle and easily peel it out to reuse them vs having to throw away your plastic bags every time

      The holes are too big. But that's a great idea!

    I can hardly wait, I've ordered molds that should be here Monday. I've tried making these in a petri dish mold but it's really difficult since they are deep and it makes manipulation of the resin hard to do. I did succeed in making the lily's. Thank you for sharing all of your flower coasters. I just love them.

    Hello your work is beautiful. Can you give me some tips. I tried similar one but not getting such layering n blending effect of white lines made. When I make while lines it settles soon as dots or small small white dots at bottom. What should be pouring consistency of resin? Is heat gun required to blow on white lines to such effect. ? Any alternative to avoid White restin settling as solid dots down ?

      Let your resin sit longer before starting.

    Are you liking the effects you're achieving from the new white?

    • @CathiiLaPierreArt

      I like it but it's definitely different. Almost gives a teddy bear fur look. Good for some flowers, maybe not.for others.

    Do you have a fb group for your patreons.?? Do you teach the details? You said you left some things out.

    • @CathiiLaPierreArt
      @CathiiLaPierreArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't leave anything out. What I said was the original idea came from a girl in Russia whose class I took. If you want her specific details on how she does it you have to take her course. Because she charges for it, I don't want to just give it away for free. If you follow my steps exactly in the video, you will get my exact results. I'm just trying to be fair to the girl I learned from to paint flowers from and still give her some credit. :-)
      Yoi can also learn more at my Patreon account and see exclusive videos I don't post here. 😊 www.Patreon.com/CathiiLaPierreArt

    I tried to make the white petals like you did and my resin was too runny and the lines didn't come out so nice. Any tips?

    • @CathiiLaPierreArt
      @CathiiLaPierreArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. What resin are using?
      2. What did you add to make it
      white?
      3. How much did you add?

    • @MsCountrykitty001
      @MsCountrykitty001 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CathiiLaPierreArt unicone resin, white let's resin pigment, and maybe 5 or so drops to make it bright white.

    • @CathiiLaPierreArt
      @CathiiLaPierreArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MsCountrykitty001 the weather can affect your resin too. It's been really warm here this week so my resin has been more runny than usual. Let it sit about 10 minutes before starting.

    When I put my resin into a bag it went crazy hot and then cured am I doing something wrong ? X

    • @CathiiLaPierreArt
      @CathiiLaPierreArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It sat too long. What is the working time of your resin?

    • @louisascopel
      @louisascopel 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cathii LaPierre Art It says start of curing 45 minutes. If it’s in a cup this doesn’t happen thought very odd !

    • @CathiiLaPierreArt
      @CathiiLaPierreArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@louisascopel My resin has a working time of 45 minutes, so I let it sit for 25-30 minutes. Maybe it's the cup you're using. Try paper or plastic. And maybe try stirring it with something other than a wood stick. That can sometimes affect it too. Let me know how you make out!
