50 Years of Clan Line on the Main Line. 27-04-24.

Saturday 27th April 2024 would see UK Railtours and Belmond operate a special Pullman train to Bath from London Victoria. The special charter was organised for the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society to celebrate 50 years of operation on the main line in preservation by their superb locomotive 35028 Clan Line.
I captured 35028 on the return leg of her special charter racing through the rain at Winchfield and running a few minutes early after a late start from Bath.
Congratulations to the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society and 35028 Clan Line for 50 years of excellence on the Main Line and here is to the next 50!
