I used to watch these magnificent machines coming down the main line through Farnborough when I was a kid ,brought back memories of endless summers and freedom playing with your mates. Great video as always. Thanks
Excellent coverage of a great day with 34072 on the Watercress Line. I travelled on the 13.00 and 15.00 round trips from Alresford. 34072 is really in top form as she displayed by romping over the Hampshire Alps in fine style. I was really hoping that you would be filming 34072 yesterday and you have done a grand job.
Your thorough, considered style - lingering establishing shots and careful camera-work combine to produce some of the best records of visits to & situation of heritage railways in England and beyond. Thank you for sharing your work.
Thanks for an excellent video capturing an excellent day. I was the driver of 34072 on this day. I look forward to many more turns during the locomotive's stay with us.
A cooler day out??!! A gentle Sunday trickling along behind a Bulleid, what more do you need. Great scene sets bringing back that magical country station feeling. As usual, loving the detail shots, thanks Matthew👍👍👍
A tad cooler, but still very humid behind the camera. It's always a pleasure catching a Bulleid on the Hants - long may it continue. Thanks very much, Bob!
The third shot in is too far away. The zoom on my 1962 Kodak could have gone further in than that. And why does the footage continue for so long after the train has passed? Better editing perhaps? And those bloody shots on the flowers I can get in my back garden so why am I having to watch them here? The coaches have seen better days - just like the film they're a bit shabby, what a pity.

It's not often I envy those on the train... but with the sound of 257, I'll admit to some jealousy.
Glad you enjoyed it
another brilliant video... always so enjoyable 👏

Why do you have to be so rude
Unbelievably rude comments. I recommend you stay in your garden and smell the fragrance, it may help you through
