I feel like I’ve been thrown into another dimension. I’ve gone from watching TH-cam drummers being amazed by El Estepario, to watching El Estepario being blown away by his favourites. This is truly next level
As a Brazilian, it would be cool to see him in Slipknot, but I doubt he's going to leave Sepultura, he's at home. Even worse would be to trade a very secure spot on a band for a band that can fire you with the snap of a finger.

Hell no. I am/was a total slipknot fan. And I just lost all respect for Slipknot. Hell no, Eloy and El Estepario are too good to be disrespected by slipknot who have proven time and again to have zero loyalty to their "slipknot family" especially their drummers.

If Colby commented on El’s reaction vs merely watching Siberiano’s playing, along with the rest of us, he’d be doing/saying something new. Note Siberiano’s entertainment factor: brass knuckles in shoe, gun prop, etc. Dude kills the kit, has an interesting/entertaining POV, and hilarious props/shtick. No hate, just… if I was Colby’s manager or agent I’d point that out to help him and his brand. As you know, agents and managers only get paid after their clients do. Metal lives. 🤘🏾

Hiring Eloy means they have someone in the band MILES ahead of them technically and musically. You’re absolutely right about the rest of them needing to bring up their level. But likely they’d fire him for being too good. Bands and their level love to be complacent.

Yes, after years of playing and practice I developed the hand speed and would fall into the grove often....BUT I never came close to the foot control Eloy has... I almost fell into why bother mode... but I remember how long it took to perfect Bonham Triplets so I push on.... Great video... Thank you for sharing.

Ok yesterday I did say El Estepario was the best drummer ever, Hands Down. Now at the time I had just been wowed and amazed by him. I had forgotten about Eloy. Oops... Also, What about the Brutalicious Tribal slow heavy Originator, Igor Cavalera?
Imo Eloy and Mario are the two best sounding metal drummers right now ! They hit so hard and put so much energy ! I don't really like how El Estepario sounds but he is a machine ! his playing is so impressive...so much work behind thoses skills..
Eloy is awesome, loved him since he joined sepultura. As a drummer, what he is doing with speed and power together, and keeping perfect time is a hard task to tackle
I saw Eloy live when he was 16 yo and he was already unbelievable. Plus i had te chance to meet him and talk to him and he was extremely nice. He deserves all the success and recognition
Eloy is a beast. But as for Slipknot's new drummer it's probably Jeramie Kling. Jeramie posted a video on Instagram stating they he has left Venom Inc. and at the end of the video there is the Slipknot logo. And that video has since been removed like he was told to remove it.

If you've ever watched El Estepario Siberiano play you will realize that he can play what this guy is playing, but one handed. I can absolutely appreciate that Eloy Casagrande is an amazing musician but he looks like how a caveman would play the drums vs El Estepario making his playing look like an optical illusion. He is so smooth in his technique and the thing that makes me love El Estepario is he is so humble despite his god level way of playing where there is no song he can't absolutely destroy. If I had any say in Slipknot hiring a new drummer I would not hesitate to make the offer to the greatest drummer I've ever seen, EES!!
The part at the very end with the no look cymbal hit… I bet this is the same guy that shows up at a gun range, no look fires at the target, and hits the bullseye every time. He could probably do that with a bow and arrow too! So crazy!! 😂
