In Norse mythology , Eitr is the poison that will kill Thor and it is the poison that Aesir Gods are afraid of. Hence early on in the game when Kratos threw his axe in the river , Jormungandr return it back to him and on the bottom left of the screen , the words “Eitr imbued “ appeared. It was this poison that allowed him to kill Magni, and soon to be Thor . For Baldur , he is weak to mistletoe , not Eitr, which was why Freya quickly removed it from Atreus when Kratos visted her at her house
mind you, they didn't expect him to be so tough. all they knew were that baldur needed to find them and they were brought as extra muscle. they knew he came from a different land but never knew how strong he truly was or would've prepared for something like him.
Imagine Thor realizes how strong Kratos is, and refuse to avenge the death of his son. Thor: "Im sorry dude for the reckless thing my son did, I beg your pardon for hitting your axe with magni's face."

It's farely easy if you play enough. Because a lot of moves can be canceled midway and still damage. He just doing that all the time. Combine that with speed and there you go.
Holy shit like, I clicked onto the video for the cinematic but this guy's combos and play is absolutely insane. Makes me feel like a one strategy-button masher.
What i like about the new GoW is how restrained Kratos is even when angry, if he ever goes ballistic like he did in GoW3 or he gets the blade of Olympus back somehow i think the Norse pantheon will join the Greek one VERY swiftly.
