Useful information in the video. I would like to add one more useful point. Flax seeds have a downside as well for people with hypothyroidism as it acts as a goitrogen, in turn worsening the issue. So, such people need to be careful while consuming it
@@begaiymesenalieva762 Since I am not a medical practitioner, I suggest you learn more about the topic through various resources. But if I was in your place, I would either ensure that I have enough Iodine in my diet to nullify goitrogenic effect or stop any goitrogenic foods. However, it is more complex than this. A lot of super healing vegetables are goitrogenic, e.g. broccoli, so removing goitrogenic foods may not always be possible or in some cases should not be done, but then one needs to ensure they have enough Iodine. But if one has autoimmune Hashimotos then this can be risky as it will worsen the hypothyroid issue. So, it is better to work with a functional medicine doctor or do thorough research yourself so that you are aware of what is actually going on in your body so that the correct course of action can be decided. Hope that helps!
@@begaiymesenalieva762 Yes me too. BTW you should know that excess iodine does not amplify your thyroid. I never heard that cruciferous veges were anti-thyroid so I will look that up.
