You could always sail the high seas after the eshops close. And if Nintendo gets mad, you could always argue that they have no right to complain since titles like Xenoblade Chronicles X aren't being sold by Nintendo anymore, and they can't argue that they lost sales and profit since there aren't any avenues for them to make money anymore with Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Sailing the high seas is the only way I can have a digital backup on my PC. 2. Nintendo isn’t manufacturing any more physical copies of Wii U or 3DS titles anymore, so they’re not making any profits off of the ones being sold as used.

Whatever THAT vague azz crap means smh) But HOW??? Is Ash Greninja a starter? Do u have to catch him in the friggin wild? What about the other stuff the other stuff you get from the demo? Will the main game sense that you have the demo and automatically give it to you? HOW??? Would ANYONE with a brain care to EXPLAIN the whole process???

Also the Yokai Watch games take up quite a bit of memory when you download them so be sure that you have enough memory for them. I haven't gotten Yokai Watch 2 Psychic Spectors yet as I own the original version of it but the memory requirements to own them hurt a lot! At least I found my Shin Megami Tensi Strange Journey Redux game in time to download the free dlc off that one too!
I feel like the best games the buy are the ones who are of franchises that need the support. Yo-kai watch is one of them because they aren't as popular in the west.
Most of these videos are stuck on AAA titles, but there is a lesser know series that I fell in love with is Silver Falls. These games expand 3DS,Wii U, and Switch. With only a solo developer making these games was incredible before the end and each game is a different play style worth getting them. Also the series is continuing on the Switch.
Great video. Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is another one i recommend if anyone likes Fire Emblem. FE is the only JRPG series i like but radiant historia just hit me the right way too. its more traditional but still very unique and expensive physically!

I happened to get fire emblem, awakening, and echoes physically for a better deal on eBay than the E shop, and I managed to get Warriors for the new Nintendo 3DS off of Amazon for $16 brand new. I’ve still got a lot of items on my wish list to buy still…
I would add Game & Wario to the list. It’s stupid expensive right now for a disc but you can download it for $30. I downloaded it and am going to wait a month to see where prices are at before I sell my copy.

That's NOT what i call EASY plus i think you need a desktop computer(which i don't have)so screw all that imma just get a Steam Deck and EASILY emulate whatever i don't get b4 the eshop closes.🤦🤷
If you want games but just can't get them due to price you can always mod your Nintendo 3ds but if you do be careful but I have a modded 3ds and I would say it's definitely worth it to get all the games you want without the price

Are your Nintendo account and NNID linked? You can merge your digital wallet and add funds (in admittedly inconvenient increments) to your Nintendo account that you can use on the 3DS or Wii U eShop.

If are a fan of Yo-Kai Watch, or are just getting into the series, I suggest you buy Yo-kai Watch 3, Yo-kai Watch Blasters Red Cat Corps or White Dog Squad, and Yo-kai Watch 2 Psychic Specters. These are the most expensive physical Yo-kai Watch games, especially Yo-kai Watch 3, so buy them when you still can!

you forgot to mention transporter is also the only legit way to move over pokemon from the ds games to bank to home. I think bank is a get buy for everyone even tho you might not be into pokemon. Every Ds with bank and transporter installed will go up in price for sure.

While you don’t have to buy Smash digitally you do at least have to worry about the DLC characters, stages and other DLC which won’t be available once the shops close. Ultimate has nearly all of that but the characters do play a bit differently than in Smash 4.

You should have posted on the video: For digital purchases, ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR SAVES! PC, one moment I am coming out of the settings screen on my 3DS in 2015, the next my 3DS micro SD got corrupted. All save files GONE. My hard earned Fire emblem awakening files, GONE! Most of the music files were gone. All that work GONE on most games like Resident evil revelations 1. Just back up your save files once in awhile like every month to make sure. Your game saves, your purchases.
This is only for Nintendo Europe and Nintendo Japan, they are still available on Nintendo North America eShop. Allegedly executives in Japan and Europe wanted to avoid making players feel the need to rush out and big buy games last minute. Thankfully not the case for us North Americans as I was able to buy Echoes a few minutes ago which is a game I very much wanted to get but haven't gotten around to yet

I found it disappointing I bought a 20$ card to download some 3ds games before the store closed but it wouldn't let me add the card to the 3ds. So I added it to the switch and used it there.

Both Dragon Quest games on the 3DS are good (I hear), but if you’ve never played DQ VIII, it’s a masterpiece (even though I personally prefer the PS2 version for the OST alone). I hear the DLC for the Fire Emblem games on the platform are absolutely insane, I’ll just stick to Engage and Three Houses thank you very much, lol
I just bought it yesterday and bought echoes a few minutes ago. I believe it only got took down extra early in Europe and Japan. Allegedly the executives in Nintendo Japan and Nintendo Europe didn't want players to feel pressured to buy the games last minute. Well it sucks but from a business perspective, probably holding cost of a legacy service that is costing more money to store on servers as inventory than the rate they are selling software.
Just sail the seven seas and mod your consoles. It'll save you hundreds of dollars 'cause some games cost a boatload of money. No joke btw, some games will actually run you *double* the amount you payed initially. Depending on the game you may end up paying over the hundreds just because of how much DLC was released for a game. Also, regardless if you actually want to mod your system or not make sure you get a bigger memory storage unit. Both the 3DS and Wii U have pitiful storage capacity when bought fresh. The 3DS has a whopping 2GB or 4GB depending on which model you get and when you bought it while the Wii U has 8GB for standard models (White Wii U's) and 32GB for deluxe models (Black Wii U's).
If only we had been given enough time to buy the games we wanted smh. If we had been given years to do so that would have been awesome, and if only Nintendo gave of a year in advance that they would be shutting down these shops! Like if only we had the hindsight of gaming eShops shutting down years later! Nintendo really doesn't care huh?

PC, one moment I am coming out of the settings screen on my 3DS in 2015, the next my 3DS micro SD got corrupted. All save files GONE.
My hard earned Fire emblem awakening files, GONE! Most of the music files were gone.
All that work GONE on most games like Resident evil revelations 1.
Just back up your save files once in awhile like every month to make sure. Your game saves, your purchases.

Fire Emblem Fates are not available at the eShop since the last week or first week of March. Nintendo delisted them already
This is only for Nintendo Europe and Nintendo Japan, they are still available on Nintendo North America eShop. Allegedly executives in Japan and Europe wanted to avoid making players feel the need to rush out and big buy games last minute. Thankfully not the case for us North Americans as I was able to buy Echoes a few minutes ago which is a game I very much wanted to get but haven't gotten around to yet

I found it disappointing I bought a 20$ card to download some 3ds games before the store closed but it wouldn't let me add the card to the 3ds. So I added it to the switch and used it there.

Wii is not running under VC on the Wii U. It runs directly, there's nothing virtual about it.

@@gamerRN112 If you get either of the Persona Q games, get the second one. It’s better in every way. Both Dragon Quest games on the 3DS are good (I hear), but if you’ve never played DQ VIII, it’s a masterpiece (even though I personally prefer the PS2 version for the OST alone). I hear the DLC for the Fire Emblem games on the platform are absolutely insane, I’ll just stick to Engage and Three Houses thank you very much, lol

I just bought it yesterday and bought echoes a few minutes ago. I believe it only got took down extra early in Europe and Japan. Allegedly the executives in Nintendo Japan and Nintendo Europe didn't want players to feel pressured to buy the games last minute. Thankfully Nintendo America does their own thing for us North Americans sometimes

The old Wii Shop Channel for the original Wii and the Wii U's Virtual Wii closed a number of years ago. The Wii U eShop has been up the whole time but is closing Mar 27th.

@@williejohnson1732 The Wii U eShop is still up until Mar 27th. You just can't add funds directly anymore. If you link your Wii U's NNID to a Nintendo Account, any money you add to your Nintendo Account will show up and be available for use on the Wii U eShop.

Well it sucks but from a business perspective, probably holding cost of a legacy service that is costing more money to store on servers as inventory than the rate they are selling software.

Just sail the seven seas and mod your consoles. It'll save you hundreds of dollars 'cause some games cost a boatload of money.
No joke btw, some games will actually run you *double* the amount you payed initially. Depending on the game you may end up paying over the hundreds just because of how much DLC was released for a game.
Also, regardless if you actually want to mod your system or not make sure you get a bigger memory storage unit. Both the 3DS and Wii U have pitiful storage capacity when bought fresh.
The 3DS has a whopping 2GB or 4GB depending on which model you get and when you bought it while the Wii U has 8GB for standard models (White Wii U's) and 32GB for deluxe models (Black Wii U's).
Having played DQ8 on PS2, I can't get over the synth soundtrack for the 3DS. I bought it, played it for a bit, then replayed the PS2 version.
