- In part 2 of this video I continue to finish fitting the scribes and filler panels to this corner boiler unit and show how quick and easy it is to remove it some of it for easy access.
Good job people say fitting kitchen is easy but when it comes finishing that is when master carpenter shows his skill and thought, your finish is just great and nobody would know there is boiler in cupboards.love your work and you are arrogant just want to share your knowledge. That's best thing to do and you are always remembered .Thank You for sharing
I meant to say you are not arrogant forgive for my mistake in writing
Hi Mohammed. I appreciate, as always, your kind words🤩Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del
No sweat Mohammed🤩 I type the wrong words sometimes too😝 Cheers
Just about to DIY my first kitchen. As with all DIY projects I spend hours and hours researching youtube for all the tips and tricks. Everyone has different ways of doing things, but eventually you always find 'your go-to guy' that explains things well and everything they do looks great and seems logical. Plumberparts is my plumbing guy, and now Del is my carpentry/kitchen fitting guy. Your videos have been a huge help, let's just hope I can transfer them to my kitchen!
Wow, what a great comment and I really appreciate you watching my videos🤩Cheers Del
T.C. Should stand for thoughtful carpenter, thinking about the access to the boiler, just another element to your professionalism top lad and another great watch 👍👍
That's a great comment Brian🤩 I guess TC could stand for a lot of things😵Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del
Nice follow up video Del, easy and totally accessable point now. You shud get a big bonus for that
I've never had a bonus for any work I've done Steve, and I'm usually just glad to get paid😵You don't get a lot of gratitude from people in my line of work😆Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del
Great couple of videos. You've given me some ideas for further kitchen fits. Cheers
Hi Geoff🖐Its great that you find these videos useful🤩Thanks for watching😎Cheers Del
As a heating engineer let me be the first to say thank you for this! I bet no one takes any notice!
Hi Martin🖐 I always try to do my work thinking about other trades and people who might be impacted by what I do or don't do👍and I appreciate your comment. Thanks for watching 😎 Cheers Del
Brilliant job Del. I hope the engineers appreciate your time and skill making this so accessible.
I hope so too Steve🤞I suspect that many of them have really poor access to a lot of built in boilers😬Thanks for watching😎Cheers Del
You always go the extra mile for your clients Del, superb quality work as ever, I hope they realise and appreciate what a great installation that is. 👏👍
Hi Abbo🖐I don't usually get much feedback from people, but I know I'm happy with it🤩Thanks for watching😎Cheers Del
Great workmanship Del👏 A well thought out solution to a tricky situation 👍

Great video Del !!! Thanks 😊
Cheers Michael🤩Thanks for watching and have a great week😎
Well thought out classy job Del. I’ve got a friend who called me a few years ago saying he had no heating or hot water. You know the sort of mates SOS call, so I thought it cant be that hard if the gas and electric are on. When I got there and asked where the boiler was I discovered the previous owner had boxed the newish boiler in, floor to ceiling with zero access. The only clue of its presence was a small hole for the pressure gauge which needed a torch to view. Couldn’t really check the pressure and no chance of adding water, no wonder it went flat. That was a prefect job for the multi tool that day.
Hi Carter. Ultimately bud, what are you supposed to do🤔 Sounds like the classic case of, 'I don't care about anyone else'😩(the person that imprisoned the boiler, not you😘)Thanks for you great comment, and for watching😎Cheers Del
Bloody work of art👏👏👏well done Del
Thanks for your kind words Mark🤩Haver a good week mate👍
Well thought out job, thinking about accessing the boiler for future maintenance.
Keep posting the videos dell.
Hi David. I believe its part of the job, when concealing boilers like this, to make them easily accessible👊Thanks for your comment😎Cheers Del
Cracking job as usual 👍
Thanks for watching Paddy😎Cheers Del
Lovely job . The plumbers do like it when cupboard is easy access and removable its nice to get Good feedback for your efforts . Well done.
Hi Ian. Everyone's got a job to do, and it must make it really awkward for plumbers and heating guys to work of heavily boxed in appliances, so I do try my best to make it as easy as possible for these guys👍Thanks for your comment bud😎Cheers Del
You got your thinking cap out for that one mate, I hope they put it all back as carefully. Keep up the good work. 👍👍👍
Hi Kevin🖐I will actually put it all back together, but I really have made it very easy, so hopefully, others will be able to as well🤞Thanks for watching😎
Nice technique brilliant mate
Thanks for your comment Sadaqat 👊 Cheers Del

Throw that level away 😜 see your U scribe is getting a lot of use 👏, some strange sounds coming you when you're working 😂😂 oo aa o that's amazing 🤣🤣 say they other lads on site are wondering what's he at in there 😂😂 good on Del 👏🤟🇮🇪☘️😁
Great comment John🤩I actually put the radio outside the door of the room I'm working in when I'm filming so people cant hear me and start shouting, 'who you talking to'🙄Cheers Del
@@thetallcarpenter 😂😂😂
Good work Dell, loads of thought and compromise, I've just booked two kitchens in for January, standard stuff not to fancy, not sure how well it will go down on a Bricklaying channel 😀 need to sharpen my chisel 😁
You might regret hitting your level with your trowel all those times Andy when you're trying to get those base units to fit😆🤩At least they will be inside👊Thanks for watching bud😎
Del you should put your logo on one of them timbers maybe you might get a big thank you from the service guy's
Hi Joe🖐Could do bud, but, like all my work, I just want people coming behind me or even just looking at it to say, 'the carpenter who did this did a good job'👍Thanks for watching😎Cheers Del
Great video. What are the brown vertical strips between the tall carcasses ? Obviously to fill the gap, but would be interesting to see how they are aligned and fixed.
Hi Nick🖐They are aluminium profiles that allow a finger space/recess behind them to create a handle less finish👍Thanks for watching and your comment 😎 Cheers Del
@@thetallcarpenter Thanks, that makes sense !
Fantastic video once again Del… just wondering how you cut those scribes? Looks like you are only taking a few mm off. Are you planing them in or cutting? Cheers
Hi bud. I mostly use my table saw to cut fairly straight scribes, and revert to a handsaw if they are too wonky🙄Thanks for your comment😎
Bout to have a crack at making some kitchen units next month. Just got myself a plunge saw. Any preference of melamine coated chip vs melamine coated mdf? Guessing there's good and naff versions of each but would rather build them out of something that will last. Cheers.
Hi Roll🖐 I think the quality of the melamine is more important than the board material, and I wouldn't hesitate to use a good quality MFC, (melamine faced chipboard), to make kitchen units out of👊 Thanks for your comment and for watching 😎 Cheers Del
Del that's fantastic let's hope the engineer that calls out doesn't have a fuck it attitude and doesn't just rip things out as I get that all the time I'm sick of going repairing boiler housings
Hi Darren🖐Well it would be disappointing if someone did turn up to inspect/service the heating system and belligerently dismantled this poorly😩Thanks for watching👍Cheers Del
Very swish but don't they have a garage they could have poked it in uncovered.
Hi Dave🖐The garages to these builds are quite well detached but do have the air source units behind them👍Thanks for watching😎
Not a hope in hell a plumber is gonna do that !
You're probably right James😬Cheers Del
