Admitting to not being experienced, whilst simultaneously having a (very capable) go, whilst inspiring others to do the same... Is absolutely awesome, and I respect your approach so much here. Bravo!
I liked the idea of using the Biscuit Jointer for the splines, much easier than putting something so big through a table saw with a jig. I may have to shamelessly steal that idea for future projects 😉
hi nice video. May I as k you, if your wall was not plum would of you used in fills to make it so or what other method would of you used? Thanks in advance
Hi there, watched this video with interest as have a similar job to complete. Found it very useful. I want to replicate but to match the other units in our little utility room I need to add a decor end panel to the end and its quite heavy being 18mm mdf. Do you think I will get the front right corner sagging as it's not fully supported ? My face frame is 600 wide from the wall and 450mm deep. Appreciate your thoughts to help me out. Many thanks in advance.
For a non cabinet maker the job is perfectly done and the nicer of all is that you dont see the boiler !!!!! Is there any other cabinet to much the colour or you want to make a contrast ? Eather way is a lovely job !!!!!!
What do you do, if the boiler is floating above a worktop& cabinets. And they are tiles and electric trunking down the non wall side, and plug sockets?? This is my dilemma how to frame around it all . As different depths
Great video Matt and great cupboard. Like the use of the biscuit jointer to make your spline slots. The additions you have put on the sides of your Clarke table saw look very interesting 👍👍👍
Seriously though, if you already have all that equipment, you most likely know how to do this! guess I looked at the wrong video, looks great though, guess I'll just have to keep searching, hahaha
Hi Matt, you know how you always say "The tools i use are in the description below" ? well i just looked at the tools you use on Amazon and the Dewalt Mitre saw you use is the DWS774-GB Correct ? Yet the one on your Amazon page is the DWS777 - Have you upgraded without telling us or is it a typo on Amazon ? PS: Cant find your Biscuit joiner too on the tools you use !

Thank you
Very informative. Gives the DIYer an idea what tools they will need to take it to another level. Basically a workshop 😂
It’s amazing what he’s done with just a few bits of scrap wood and 10k’s worth of tools 😂
Yes very good, I'm sure we all have those tools handy in the garage 🙂
Watching your videos is pure gold. TY kindly for showing us.
Thank you very much

Thank you. Go for it. I stole the idea of someone else
Looks great. I really like the way you approach things - very practical, no muss, no fuss.
Thank you
Looking good!! Much better than looking at the boiler 😂😂
Thank you. Yes much better
Impressed with the jig for the biscuit jointer. Nice way to make splines on a mitre joint! Simple and effective.
Thank you Philip
Love watching your videos. Thanks for making them.
Thank you very much James
Fantastic job. They look superb natural like that.
Thank you
You made a nice job of that. I like the way you reinforced the corners of the doors.
Thank you. Yes i will be using that technique again
Great build Matt, nice little trick with the biscuit jointer.
Thank you very much
Looks beautiful! This is peretty good inspiration.

Very good mate nice amount of clearance around the appliance aswell. I'd paint it the blue colour you have in your living room.
Thank you
it looks very nice. Good Job well done.
Thank you
With simple things you make attractive videos . Congrats ;-)
Thank you
Looks great!
Fantastic job looks great thanks for sharing 🍺🍺👍👍👍👍
Thank you Brian
Looks OK to me but I think 2x3 frames is a bit of over kill, know it was scrap as such but I think I would have ripped them down a bit
For a non cabinet maker the job is perfectly done and the nicer of all is that you dont see the boiler !!!!! Is there any other cabinet to much the colour or you want to make a contrast ? Eather way is a lovely job !!!!!!
I want to change all the cabinets in my kitchen so I will wait until i decide what colour they should be
Great job

Thank you. Mitre slots have made it better
Nicely done Matt! 😃👍🏻👊🏻

I'll use the Škoda car brand slogan for this. "Simply clever". Thanks for sharing the video.

I gotta do this next week cheers
Neat job as always
Thank you
Very nice project
Thank you
I was thinking how nice it would look with some Danish oil! Maybe there will be an update video!
Awesome!
Hi Matt. Looks really nice mate. Wonder what color it will be
Thanks Josh. I have no idea. We will see in a years time
Teal?
Maybe
Teal is a great color. We planned to paint the kitchen cabinet in that color with stone grey as a contrast
Good job well done
Thank you
Good job
That was a nice simple end effective design. But how did you manage to do it without a plane in sight?!
Thank you
simple but effective.
No Danish Oil?!?!?
Maybe I will add some
colour : what is the floor like ? 2 tone or single ...
It’s nasty old carpet
@@Badgerworkshop the window+frame looked new, so i expected a new(er) floor.
Seriously though, if you already have all that equipment, you most likely know how to do this! guess I looked at the wrong video, looks great though, guess I'll just have to keep searching, hahaha
I’d pay you to make me a cupboard like that. I need two. Actually four! 😊

No i have the DWS777. The Biscuit joiner comes from screw fix
What happened to the 774 you had Matt ? Was it any good ?
Nothing wrong with that buddy.
Thank you Pete
Not an experienced cabinet maker...mmm? I'd let you build my cabinets, how's that?
Thank you very much Keith
Not bad at all. Paint it white and its like the rest
Thank you
👍
Far more complicated than it needs to be. Good job though
OK so I need to buy about a million clamps
it's good, but for the DIYer , too many tools involved.
Looks pretty cheap
