BASICS,BASICS,BASICS! Since I started my calesthenics journey in 2019 with you guys I have developed a leaner ,stronger , more athletically defined body.I am still doing mostly basics but at some different progression, some more intermediate. I am still working on my form ,proper joint preparation.I still use bands but now down to the lightest band I some exercises.I do not do weighted calesthenics yet.I want to learn more exercise variations.Due to my advanced age and years of weight lifting and I n sufficient dynamic and static stretching I saw that I lacked flexibility and core strength. I do alot more mobility work now.My core now is stronger but I have a ways to go.I am not obsessed about learning every skill or even getting to advanced levels but I fell in love with the journey.Calesthenics gave me discipline and structure. My mental focus, emotional wellbeing and physical form have all greatly improved and improved every other aspect of my life.Today was cool but sunny here in Boston and I worked outside in calesthenics Park which I love.Your TH-cam videos and training app helped me imensely.I agree with you guys that persevere and be patient by building strength with basics and the rest will follow. Thanks guys again. Please do more follow along workouts.
At 55, I have most of these owned (human flag, dragon flag, handstand...). The planque however is still giving me work to do. Can do it somehow with the legs split but far from perfect. It will come! Great video btw. One of the few putting it all together and straight to the point.
I would love to see a full warmup guide for every major Cali joint and muscle group as staying healthy is the most important thing. Also a full mobility routine for push pull and legs would also be great
The brothers are back with another video together 💪🏻 Explaining how to Master Calisthenics from Beginner to Pro! Let us know in the comments at which Level you're at!!🚀 Find all these Exercises in our Free Workout App! ► Download here: calisthenics-family.com/app/?
Man.. I've been wanting to start calisthenics and haven't been able to find a good guide. You guys explain and break it down really well and set good targets to achieve. Well done guys. I'll be following your guide!
Although a very fast expose over the core components in calisthenics this video sums it all up in a good way and makes it seem possible to achieve the advanced and Pro levels!
Amazing video again! I've been following your push/pull/legs/abs and core workouts since the beginning of the year and the results are incredible, thank you. Looking forward mastering every skill mentioned in this video.
Nice showcase of all the exercises I’m currently doing and those that I’ll have to face in the future, how to perform them at best and how to make them little more challenging once mastered (I was already taking a look at the third phase of Calisthenics Journey to practice the harder evolution of some exercise 👀)! Thank you guys! Keep it up like this!! 💪🏼
You’re are doing a great service by putting these videos out there. I’m looking and feeling better than I ever have in my life and I can credit that to your content. Thank you.
What a great inspiration for the new beginner. You explain the path to more advanced exercises very well. Thanks for the directions for my new health journey. I subscribed before the end of the video!
Love the video! I would say I'm mostly intermediate, just bought my first weighted vest and now I'm looking for a good pair of parallettes to improve my L sit and learn how to do a handstand without wall.
Really appreciate it man, I was doing martial for long time but due to there isn't any dojo in the place I moved on I wanted to give calisthenics a chance (since I have all the equipment and structure in the park of place I live in). This video really helped me about where should I start and where should I continue with. Thanks!
you know all my friends do weights and seeing this channel made me feel good about myself because I use to think my arms were small and seeing what calisthenic arms look like I feel good now
Very well explained and detailed! Im glad to know more information about the handstand, since thats the skill im training for but cant quite achieve yet.
Thank you so much! Did you know that we have a Handstand Mastery course in our app? You can start the program for free, download the app here: calisthenics-family.com/app-download/ 💪
I started going to the gym a few months ago but I was looking for a particular domain to focus on. I came across calisthenics and found your channel and app. Great work 💯💯
Greetings from Finland. Lost 12kg and did the first pull ups of my life at 31 years old. Now 6 months past, Your videos have played a huge role on my journey. I feel overall more energetic and my body looks all around healthy. Parallettes are tough to come by in Finland tho😢
Great list, been using the app for almost a year now. Gotta renew in June. Muscle-up and handstand pushup are my top 2 goals and I feel like I have so far to go lol. Thanks for all the help, advice, and tutorials. Stay blessed guys 🙏💪
I’d love a pair of those parallettes! Liked and subscribed, great video. I’m still very much a beginner, but at least I can do approx 10-12 chin-ups, 40-50 regular pushups, approx 10 dips, 3+ minutes plank and regularly do squats at the gym with normally 50-100kg load. I miss having access to a good bar to train many of these exercises though.
you guys are so helpful in the calisthenics industry! i enjoy your videos and tips. this one though, GEM! thank you very much, will save for my journey. sincerely, a female fitness enthusiast. working on mastering my handstand and muscle up progressions! loving the growth so far!
Whenever I do any calisthenic exercise it just feels like I am an 8 year old kid again having fun at the monkey poles and I just love it. I am having so much fun doing handstands and practicig elbow lever pose :D (I am begginer and I will be great in this one day I promise.)
"Do not skip legs" part you should mention that working out your legs increases testosterone, cortisol and human growth hormone. For people that do not know what Cortisol is.. It helps your body to respond to stress and increases fat metabolism. Testosterone is simple.. we all know it.. strengthens our bones and repairing damaged muscles :)
Calisthenics is not only for small guys, sitting here at 105kg 197cm tall. I can MU on bar and rings, got it on the bar first time yesterday! Backlever next, its not coming easy when you are long😁
I am so interested in calisthenics but I really don't know how to start. Thanks to this video and I just recently download the app, I have a motivation to start calisthenics.
Cracking video, as usual, guys! 🥇I'm progressing along, like molasses in winter at the moment .. but I'll get there, especially with the help of your advice and very detailed videos (and some parallettes?? 🤞🤩). 🤸♂Keep them coming, CaliFam! Steve. London. UK. 💪👍😎
