Hey Chris, can you make a video, on your channel, about the Time of learning of some skill? A video where you say how much time did the tuck, straddle, full planche, front lever... take to you
Push-ups is definitely one of the most basic superhuman strength. Over months ago, I can only do 20-50x regular push-ups in a ROW, progressing to diamond, archer etc. Then I tried the explosive (plyo) push-ups, at first it's only a 1-2 cm height off the ground and can only do 4-5x reps. 2 weeks after, I can push 3-6 cm height off the ground for over 10 reps (and can still do over 20x regular push-ups after it (superset). Just now after watching TH-cam vids (and ThenX's) and without I even think abt it before, I can do at least 10x clapping explosive push-ups! Still a long way to go for planche push-ups etc, but God knows I'm on the right path. Chris and ThenX team, just so you know, you're kinda the heroes I look up into!
@Blizzard: I warm up well, and stretch my shoulders and wrists. After a while, standard push-up is a good warm up for me with around 20 reps (later I can do over 60+ reps standard push up with medium tempo). Then I do LOADS of resistance (band) push ups. Maybe that's why I was quite easy in getting my explosive strength working. Then I progress to the standard explosive push-ups (around 1 - 1.5 week to practicing this explosives well, and letting my shoulders familiar with the explosive push). I was succeed doing the clapping push up on my first attempt ever because of that routine standard explosive push up. Then I progressed to Chest tap, Superman push up, Toe taps push up, Hip touch, and now I can easily do Aztec push up. I succeed mastering all of them on my first attempt (without breaking my neck or face), all thanks to the basic strength I built first, and most importantly: technique understanding. Don't attempt to do them if you haven't understand the technique how to do them. Next I want to try the Kuki push up, then the Triple clap push up (this the hardest of all). Maybe in the next 1-2 weeks I'll try them, I'm still practicing my free handstand at the moment, it's kinda hard and challenging...
7 months ago I build so much strength cause of this channel, and now I'm back at it to go full for *super human strength* The fact that Chris is still giving harts a year later is so nice👍

Chance made me find this video and start working out. I always come back to that one which is so inspiring and useful. The main problem in calisthenics is tennis and golfer elbow. It seems strengthening the forearms is enough to prevent it, but if you have a special workout to prevent these types of injuries (same with shoulders), that would be great video material
Get tendon strength in the elbows. Nothing specific that I can recommend, because if you do the wrong thing when you’re not ready you get golfers elbow

Your style is incredibly inspiring. You're f*king dope, super cool bro 💪🏼❤️🔥.

3:49 if i put my feet on the wall my mother breaks my legs :D
Well, same results, the key is to break the muscles so they can grow back
beat her to the punch, step on a crack, break her back.
She is helping with your arms exercise
You can cover the portion of the wall with something during your sessions
I wish i could give a heart to that comment...
I just deal with the pain. We are not invincible every single person in these work out vids are dealing with pain. Pain lets us know we are alive.
I trained boxing for 10 months and quit. After whatching this guy i feel motivated again thx man.
