  • In this video I'm bringing you along my journey of making rustic farmhouse dining chairs. My first chairs!
    The whole chair is from spruce and mostly built with mortise and tenon joints.
    I achieved the rustic look by waxing the edges before applying white paint.
    Enjoy!
    For all of you who like this design, here is the plan: drive.google.c...

    Your video is the first chair video I have ever seen . Very well done I really like the chairs . I have always thought that they were to difficult to build . Not the case just time consuming. Thank you very much

    What chisel do you use to round your tenons?

    Nice video, did you use any mechanical fasteners (nails, dowels, screws)? Or does glue only suffice?

      Thanks! Except for a couple of nails in the joints under the seat i have not used anything else but glue.

    Where did you get the pattern for the legs?

    • @zigapoljansek5981
      @zigapoljansek5981  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I made the pattern based on my dining chairs at home. Basically you just need the seat hight and the back inclination, which is approx. 10deg.

      I made a round chisel from a steel pipe to get the right diameter tenon, but a normal chisel will do.
