    When I was in my mid 60's I had pain in my hips that was making sleep impossible so I started doing yoga that had similar stretches and totally eliminated the problem. I am going to switch over to this routine as there are more moves being done, so excited to find this on you tube HUGE THANKS!

    This reminds me of Ananda Yoga with the poses and breathing which is SOOO relaxing. They both have the same effect. For me the hard part is just doing it.

    Lee Holden is like the Bob Ross of Energy. High Qi (a play on "low key"), I sometimes play his recordings in the background

    These are mostly yoga stretches, which can also be found in warm-up exercises for Qi Gong/Tai Chi, a lot of them are similar. I personally went to one of Lee's teacher trainings. I found the transmission to be much more powerful IN person, rather than his line of PBS-style DVD's, although they can be beneficial, they are COMPLETELY designed to a certain demographic, people are just looking to move their bodies and rid themselves of stress. There is nothing advanced in these videos, and they can appear to be disappointing to people searching for esoteric teachings. I do encourage visiting a class, he is a very nice and humble guy, great acupuncturist too!

      Qigong has been one of the best investments in my life , especially in the treatment of anxiety and depression , just wish i could get to one of his classes 😕

      Nicholas Thompkins thank you for the comment! I was thinking about taking teaching classes, i'm new in QiGong, though long term yoga practitioner. Do you think, attending Lee's teaching session requires advanced QiGong practicing? I'm taking his on-line beginner course, just to catch up on basics of this practice. But as you said it's close to yoga in many aspects. Any advice highly appreciated

    Lee is an excellent teacher. I highly recommend looking at his website and starting with the 30 Day Challenge of short videos you can later revisit and combine in ways that suit your bodymind.
    Yes, most of this is based on yoga, though the triple warmer breath technique is definitely from qigong.

    I can’t hear the sound he says to make as you exhale because the music is too loud which is disappointing as I found myself getting frustrated which isn’t a good way to close out a sleep meditation. Otherwise the video is great.

    This is so cool I want to give a cd to the guy who lives close to me he can't sleep at night. He has things about American so this white guy is OK. I think that great people are not always what they look like. But being nice looking and healthy looking doesn't hurt. Love how he does it and how the fish react to him. Great for other people but first I want a cd. Grace Namaste :)

      They just add it as a disclaimer so they don't get sued to hell for offering medical or wellness advice. You know how the western world loves suing each other into oblivion over the most frivolous of things.

    Don't see how this is any different from your basic stretching excercises. I like Lee's DVD's but these ou Tube Teasers are not the same and not helpful. A real come on to seduce paying for useless downloads. I am very disappointed .

    standard yoga positions repackaged as qigong...get real! Go to any yoga classes...even the ones in 24 hrs fitness and you can learn this.

    Be careful doing these. Obviously stretching is dangerous. If you do the cross knee stretch go SLOW!
