Kevin, I watch a lot of TH-cam videos, but I have to say, this has to be the best 2.5 hours in a single video I have ever spent. It doesn't hurt that you were in my growing up state of Nevada. Granted, I was mostly northern part but the whole state is beautiful. Abigail is looking like Sarah already! Some of those rock formations are insanely beautiful! As for the pinstripes? Well, I consider them a badge of off road honor. Thoroughly enjoyed this one Kevin!
Just found your channel this evening and after almost 3+ hours of watching (with commercials and skipping them whenever possible) all I have to say is you now have a subscriber for life . I’m currently in process of getting the final touches on my 2002 GMC Sierra Duramax powered Overland rig of my own, and am only about 11 months shy of reaching my retirement date at work. I cannot wait to do what you do full time once that door in life opens. If for some reason you wind up at Flagstaff’s overland Expo on the Middle weekend in May , I would like to shake your hand for a video that’s so over the top Awesome here . Really enjoyed this one & appreciate all that you went through both on camera and behind it to put this together , Thank you . 😎👍
I love the messages that campers bring to the community "please leave it better than when you found it" ❤ I carry with me $2 trash picker to clean up our cg & educate the little ones the same. Hopefully they will grow up to ne responsible adults
I appreciate the stop at the A-12 pilots memorial, I might have to look it up and make the trek myself sometime. I have been a big Blackbird fan from when I was a kid and witnessing them taxiing on the tarmac at Beale AFB in the 80's as we were going on base for one reason or another while visiting my grandma in Yuba City.
Loved the movie. Viewed it while enjoying breakfast and planning my trip to Overland Expo in Flagstaff. An idea came to mind when watching you rinsing down the step for the entrance to the trailer. Dual purpose velcro strips, first for a tarp to remove and shake out once at camp for the mud and dirt. Not meant to prevent muddy water as that is easier to rinse off with less water. Second for the carpet piece you placed to wipe your feet/shoes prior to entering the trailer. Thanks for sharing.
I've got a random question that someone on here should be able to answer. I'm currently considering getting into overlanding and my question is, how secure is everyone's gear that is mounted to their rigs? How easy would it be for someone to just walk up and take gear off while your vehicle was parked? I'd hate to build a rig, only to have gear stolen off of it while I was inside a store shopping or something like that.
Great video, subscribed. I love Nevada for the same reasons you mention but have only done a single "ghost towns and mines" overland trip. Loved the winter ambiance in the movie, will try it this year. New to the channel and shopping for a trailer. Could I ask if it's really needed to have expensive overland tires and to air down? Traction and comfort at not as important on a trailer, right? No need for high load rating either. BTW loved the music, nicely done.
asking you, trail recon and Venture2roam what GMRS channels you communicate on as I'm a ham tech and can't afford buying any more radios. .5 watts is under my trucks power level, but my hand held can go that low.
I was just wondering if a Toyota Tundra & Airstream lifet 25 ft Tradewind would be able to make it down some of these trails you just drove in this video

I just love this movie. Definitely have added more of Nevada to our list!
Something I need to experience once in my life. THIS is what I think of when I think overlanding. I love the expedition trailer as well

YEA, I HAVE TO AGREE WITH PREVIOUS COMMENTS, THIS IS ONE OF YOUR BEST VIDEOS. I LIKE THE CAMERA WORK, MUSIC AND THE LONGER WATCH TIME. GOOD STUFF👍

How do we nominate Keith for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar? Well done!
Very picturious place that was cool destination.
Excellent, had me “wanting “ again 😎⭐️🤩
Awesome😍
I’ve found a long screwdriver under my hood as well after an oil change! Glad it was simple😅

ธรรมชาติสวยงามมาก 🇹🇭
is there a break down movie of the Tundra with the rooftop tent anyone? Awesome film!
Hey Kevin, intermittent slow hot start equals a fuel injector problem. I changed mine out and problem solved!
I know where you went..my old offroad places …north of Vegas.

A wonderful video, what part of Nevada were you in? I did not know they had trails like that.
Love camping in the desert, but HATE sleeping in very dry air…
Man, an entire roll of sausage?? You don't play do you? 🤣
not sure about ducting volcano hot air into a tent Kevin. High concentration can be bad.

Loved this movie!! What volcano was that (camped at 8:30 at night)?

I love your videos. What was the first song in Nevada Desert Exploration?
Can you visit another ancient civilization megalithic site again brotha
It's a popcorn Flick.🍿💖💯
funny, as most folks can't get a boat down the ramp first shot.
your radio a Yaesu 400dr, so you have a ham license? I'm KK6SEB
O
What would you drink if you couldn’t have caffeine? Zero… not even decafe…. 😒
That hair!!😂😂😂 You're going through a midlife crisis there bud.
great scenery and knowledge, however unless you are just making videos for your mother? maybe less face time and more of your surroundings.
You're welcome
