Kevin, my father passed away 4 years ago today. We lived in Anchorage from 1976-1980. Your epic documentary reminded me of the many happy times we had as a family growing up there. Thanks to you and your family for creating this work. I am sure it took hundreds of hours to put it all together. Hopefully we can share a coffee or beer in AK one day. Glad you got to see it from the air! So here’s to your family and Klaus Kracht! My dad. Alaska was his favorite place on earth. I am glad I got to watch it today. His presence was felt.
Hey bud, thanks for sharing this. Not many places get into your blood like Alaska. Hopefully we can link up in the last frontier one day and share that drink. Have a great New Year!
What an incredible adventure! The Lifestyle Overland family's journey through Alaska truly captures the essence of the Last Frontier. From camping in the wild to overlanding through remote terrains, kayaking pristine waters, experiencing the thrill of dog sledding, trying their luck at gold panning, and even landing on a glacier - this is the ultimate Alaskan experience! 🌲🏕🚙🐾🏔 Thank you for sharing these breathtaking moments and inspiring us all to explore the great outdoors!
Kevin, it's beyond words how much I enjoyed your work. You are very authentic! The love I can see your eyes toward Sarah and Caroline, the way you respect wilderness. Man, I'm speechless all the best🤝
Been watching this particular episode every morning before work for about 10 days now. Lol. Kevin, you really have that gold panning bug! I wonder, have you ever compared the gold rush to the modern economy? What I mean is, where are todays gold rushes? Personally I feel like TH-cam is a modern day gold rush. It takes a lot of time and effort, with absolutely no guarantee you will get any views. Some folks make it big, some make a little, and unfortunately some go bust. I hope this perspective finds you well, in my opinion you have made it big in todays “modern gold rush” Cheers
Not sure if y’all will see this but my wife and I love watching your videos. We’re looking at getting a 4runner soon and she is very interested in overlanding. Recently started making videos and I definitely can appreciate the hard work.
This is awesome quality film-making. Great cinematography, narration, choice of soundtrack, etc. Love that your family is having these adventures. I've been a sub for a while now. You deserve many more.
When I was younger I relentlessly tried to get a job in Alaska. I had to settle for Washington-but a beauty in it's own right. I will make it to Alaska... in my 4Runner Tank Girl with or without my trailer Jet Girl. This was beautiful and a good reminder of what awaits me in the near future. It has always been at the top of my bucket list. Beautifully put together!
Solo overlanding is a soloist's symphony, and this video beautifully orchestrates the solo camper's adventure. From the solitude of solo camping to the pulse-quickening thrill of the open road, it's an ode to independence.
Found your last trip by chance. Your intro on the last video stopped me dead in my tracks. WHAT A STORY TELLER YOU ARE. It is so natural coming from you. I'm enjoying this trip in my living room TV as I speak. I subscribed this time to keep up with you guys.
What an outstanding adventure/documentary you have produced! I have only recently begun watching your channel and I love it. I went back and am watching every video, chronologically. I saw this video came out today and was torn about whether to watch it, now, as I am currently up to S1e25. Glad I watched this one. Incredible how much Caroline has grown. Her comments and facial expressions are priceless!!! It's also nice to see how much more comfortable Sarah has become in front of the camera. Kevin, your storytelling and easy, down to earth nature and your humility are inspiring. Keep up the great work!!!❤❤❤ HAPPY THANKSGIVING
We did 24 days in Alaska and it was such a wonderful time. My daughter was 11 at the time and the experiences she had are some of her favorite. We rented an Rv and and SUV and just winged it. The Milepost was an absolute help. Along with google.
Thank you again Kevin, Sarah, and your daughter for such an awesome adventure! I fly 40 Mile Air from Tok to Fairbanks and back as taxi. For a 200 mile at $210 and 1.5 hour flight along the 180 mile mountain range is awesome! They fly every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I live here in Alaska, and I enjoy watching people like you see this vast state of more than a lifetime of new places, and new, land to adventure in! Thank you for sharing! God Bless this land of the last frontier!
I am not but I grew up watching the Heartland Series on WBIR and it wasn't until a couple years went by of doing this that I realized I carried that style into our adventures!
What a fantastic childhood Caroline is having! So many useful life lessons, along with problem solving and self sufficiency. Gorgeous adventure! New sub here 👋🏼
Mateo you r rocking it! Your authenticity is a big plus! So as far as 4x4 ... You may only need a lift kit 😊 There's a guy who is big into Chevy vans and overlanding ... he's a friend of wonderhussy lol Mike Z....? Something greekish...but very knowledgeable and willing to share! Another very good and VERY knowledgeable helpful guy is LoLes Overland channel 😀 Question... have you thought about building a Diy camp kitchen box? You could design it to fit your needs inside & out.. Great content too!
happy "THANKS GIVEN" from Whitby Ontario Canada.. this journey was apic to say..my kiddos watched the hole video with me and love each and everything minute of this trip
Kevin & Company Unreal and insane sights and adventures! Thanks again for sharing your Topo Bear Family experiences with all of us once again! Remember that show Nothern Exposure that took place in Alaska home of the midnight sun ☀️
I’ve spent so much time up on the slope in winter and fishing steelhead in the southeast but it has been many years. You guys did a great job on this. We are heading up the Dempster next year and into Alaska as well. Hopefully catch up with you at expo west next month and swap some stories😊👍
Amazing adventure. It has been my dream to visit Alaska. But, I'm living my dream vicariously through you. Thank you for taking us along with you, showing us the beauty, the nature and of course the incredible fishing experience. Looking forward towards your future adventures and will be binge watching your previous videos. Subscribed from the concrete jungle of NYC!
One' of my best ever seen video heaven on Earth 🌎. Thankyou for your efforts to give all of us a opportunity to see the magical creation of God by sitting at home 🏠. Lovely daughter of you bless her to have a wonderful 👍 life ahead ❤️. Pray for your family to achieve that best in life come out of all the odds and trouble and enjoy life in best possible means you can ever think of ❤ May God bless to achieve what you desire.❤❤❤
I know this is an old blog but I bet you look beck on it sometimes…. This reminded me of the perfect yummy place in Colorado in telluride, “baked in telluride” for the best eats of sweet & deli & even the most awesome pizza!!! So if you ever adventure in Colorado again & you don’t wanna cook, stop in at baked in telluride in telluride co.
So did you confirm you're related to Jack McQuesten? The more Klondike Gold Rush books I read (and I've read a bunch), it sure sounds like he was instrumental to people venturing into the area. Those guys sure make us look soft! 😅
The cabins you see in the background at Brushkana creek are the home of Jessie holmes. World famous dog musher and cast member of life below zero. I believe he finished 3rd in 2024 iditarod
Fair enough I would have still left the boat upside down though. Stacked everything together in a pile underneath of the boat. Keep the weather/sun off the guy's fishing lines, but I understand where you're coming from. @@LifestyleOverland
So beautiful place!!! I am Musa BSc From Bangladesh in South East Asia okay but Bangladesh is a India, Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar neighbouring country okay.
Your channel came up recommended and this looked really amazing. Unfortunately I couldn’t watch it more than halfway through as just too many adverts for me. But best of luck guys!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Hope you and yours enjoy this movie length re-telling of our Alaska trip from 2021!
Anyone know how much it cost to take the glacier flight?

景色非常壮观,这样的自驾游能为孩子增长见识,拥抱大自然,真的是太棒了,我也希望有一天能放下工作,带着家人出游。看你的视频是一种享受,感谢分享。我来自中国。

This video made my day.
That must be why they call it the Copper River! We were in an RV, so didn't get to really explore Wrangel-St Elias.
Such a cool history!
Just in time! I was revisiting season four and I was about to start the Alaskan episode.

Genial 👍🤩👌
Love this & your family’s Alaska adventures! What time of the year were you there??
Where did you all get that coffee pot press that you used during this adventure?
It was included with the rental. It's by Stanley and available many places 👍
you're a blessed man.
祝福你们!

I was just wondering about such a fascinating video, but only 4.4 k likes.
@LifestyleOverlamd @Kevin TIRES I believe you were hinting at a tire review? What are you running now? And how are they doing?
Our favorites have been the Falken MTs for all around use along with the Mickey Thompson MTs for harsh use.
So cool places and family! Good luck in all your travels!
23:05 Only in Alaska you can snatch a boat from people who just got eaten by a bear.
They put up less of a fight that way
What’s the opening tune to this video? It’s great. Shazam doesn’t seem to recognize it.
The intro is our very own custom music by KyleMcCuiston.com music
Love the video! Is the route you’re taking pre planned with alaska overlander? Or did you have these picked out yourself and make your own route?
Its like anartica!! Survival skills
Are you guys originally from Reno? I am not from here but lived here for 19 years
Nope, Tennessee but we've lived all over the West for the past 15 years.
Do you recommend the 4Runner topper question mark
Hey man good to watch your video, how’s your giant Goliath tiger fish?
did u finish the burgers??

I've gotta be honest, I wanted the donuts.
They were insane! 🤤
What does the 4 Runner and trailer rental cost?
Not sure what their rates are now. Give Craig or Brook a call to see. I think they have 10% off today for black Friday.
Looks like a beautiful trip out. You should have left the person's boat upside down though.
Took the plug out so it would drain. Didn't want the hooks and lures getting scattered again.
Fair enough I would have still left the boat upside down though. Stacked everything together in a pile underneath of the boat. Keep the weather/sun off the guy's fishing lines, but I understand where you're coming from. @@LifestyleOverland

Happy Thanksgiving but that mosquito thing that attached to jetboil… what is it
Snoring, take 2 tablespoons of Oliver oil last thing before bed.... takes a few days but my wife is happy.
Your channel came up recommended and this looked really amazing. Unfortunately I couldn’t watch it more than halfway through as just too many adverts for me. But best of luck guys!
We highly recommend TH-cam premium or you can get access to ad-free episodes on our Patreon 👍

Very nice, but more than 300 US$ for the car per day are very difficult to finance.
