Bill & Deb: Andy and I just finished watching this, and we enjoyed every minute of it! I've only driven through Wyoming (many years ago). I clearly need to make the time to head out there and spend some exploring.
Wow great trip! Wind River was probably one of my favorite backpacking trips. Island lake is breath taking. This was such a fun watch....and education! Definitely hope to do something similar sometime. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for this beautiful video. I love the roads trip. Very adventurous driving. Mountains trees lakes snow love watching. I watch on big screen I love the drone footage.
I too started watching as we're looking to purchase an overland trailer and I wanted to see what you could drag it through. Great filming and drone work. Love your trip a I live near (in) Bondurant. Those are prairie dogs at the Pitchfork Fondu. Stay out of the ruts ! Carry tire chains. Lots of places I've yet to see ! But most of my travel in the mountains is in horse back.
We will try to add some of that to future videos. Check out this video of what we pack in our truck. th-cam.com/video/gSwFBStdG7w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=EcN7VImfphU9x9Dq
Thanks man. I have been curious about this pistol and waiting for your review. The manufacturing quality is what stops me from purchasing PSA products.
For potable water, check out USFS or BLM campgrounds. Also, Zion, Bryce, Cedar breaks have excellent water. There is a grocery store in Bishop, CA that will slow to fill your water jugs.
What a great trip! We started to watch it because of the Xpedition Trailer you were towing. But your filming style and editing are super! Very informative. Love the drone shots! Now. The big question: Is the trailer yours? Or did you borrow it for the trip? And if you just borrowed it, what is your long term camp setup? BTW. Aspen is the best! Keep up the good work!
Thank you! We are sponsored by XGRID Campers, the exclusive dealer for Xpedition Trailers. Both companies wanted us to take this unit out to spend some time in it on a real world multiple week trip to give them feedback on pros and cons as well as get some exposure for this awesome trailer. Our current setup is an Overland Vehicle Systems roof top tent. However, after pulling that trailer and 3 other ones since that trip. Our future long term setup will be an adventure trailer. Thanks so much for watching our channel
Did Autio tell you that Ten Sleep, WY had been the home of the Girl Scout National/International Camp? Sold around 1989. Our daughter was able to attend before it closed. She only remembers the sheep and the rain/hail.
Thanks for subscribing. Yes, currently, TH-camrs are listed as filmmakers, and you must get a permit $150 just to apply. Cost after that has depending on the park has been from free to the thousands.
@@CoddiwompleOverland I had a Tacoma 18 trd off road auto transmission- long bed . 2 weeks old took it back way to crown king. Got it high centered on a boulder. Just funny because I was using a stock truck and if I was more skilled I don’t think the truck would have problems
Anyone making money from videos or photos are no longer allowed to video in a national park without a permit, and the permits are very costly in some parks
What a great trip! Question, did the Hiker get water inside on that deep water crossing? thanks. I plan on ordering one next spring and wondering if door height will be a concern.
Question - Did you guys drive Devil's Canyon and Deer Creek Canyon? I have a 2 week overlanding trip to WY in Aug and am trying to find out if these two roads are passable with a trailer.
Newbie here: Why does es your group travel with the trailers in the front? Shouldn't the smaller rigs go first, like Army Scouts? If the trailers big down/break, then it would be more challenging to bring a single 4x4 around with a tow strap/winch. There's got to be logic to the way your travel; I just can't figure it out.
I was kinda disappointed with the video not showing all the camping spots and only focusing on the scenic views we all know how beautiful it is and the diversity of the land ! But camp spots fueling spots would been alot more helpful for us planning on doing a trip!
