    I've running a 4 node Deco mesh system for almost 2 months. My main router is the BE95 and the 3 remote nodes are the BE16000. So far, no issues and very fast. I upgraded from a 5 node erro Pro 6 system and miss some of the app functions. Specifically, the eero app (via subscription) allows to you view device data traffic (individual devices and the aggregate total) over periods of a hour/day/week/month. With ISPs enforcing data caps, it's important to be able to view and track your data consumption to identified which devices on your network are consuming the most data and at what rate. Other than that, I find the Deco system to be superior. With Deco now producing the BE63, BE95 Pro, BE10000, BE16000, BE85, and BE95, I'm looking forward to a comparison of the different models. They all seem to share the same base technology, but with different arrays of antennae and ethernet ports. So I suspect the main wireless differences will be in range/signal strength?

    Just got his today and love it so far. Way happier than I was with the eero max 7.

    Do you have a dynamic list of “best routers” via google docs or something that we can see?? You put out so much content, I can’t keep up. I was still thinking about getting the Xe75 PRO but you’ve reviewed like 20 more routers since then.

    • @landpet
      @landpet  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not yet, I may do something like that in the future as a members perk or something like that.
      XE75 pro is a great mesh even today, there are better ones like the Deco BE63 but it really just depends what you’re situation is meaning how fast are your speed, are you running wired or wireless and how big is your home.

    Hello, thank you for your rewiew
    I've se that you've got a NAS DS220 by Synology. Is it possible to manage the rooter to aggregate link by connecting 2 RJ45 between the NAS and the BE65 ?
    Thank you in advance for your answer

    I’m rocking the BE63. My ISP is Fios and only runs at 1G. Wish they’d offer more in my area. I do get close to the full speed on WiFi 6 stuff.

    Can you use the fiber SFP port for the wired backhoe I'm looking for a router and mesh system that is Wi-Fi 7 compatible we're getting the AT&T fiber 5 gig plan mesh system we're going to wire back haul all of the mess systems including all the outdoor wired access points

    saw that a new ASUS mesh router was to be launched next month, ASUS ZenWiFi BT10 (the WiFi 7 counter part of ASUS ZenWiFi ET8 and XT8), i'll stay tuned for your review hehehehe
    ASUS ZenWiFi BQ10 Pro (the WiFi 7 counter part of the ASUS ZenWiFi ET12 and XT12) was already out and some articles have reviewed it already but i will wait for your review hehehe, waiting for the best hehehe. the Pro is for america and the non pro for other regions. difference is the band split.

    Landpet - I noticed you have fast roaming disabled. Is there a reason for that? Also, I see that you changed the wireless backhaul mode to “smart” (the default is “high capacity”). Should I also change that to “smart”??

    • @landpet
      @landpet  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Fast roaming is disabled for me because some of my ring cameras don’t work with it. Now I can reset my ring cameras and reconnect to the WiFi and fast roaming will work but I change routers so often it’s not worth the effort almost every time. Plus fast roaming while it is a good feature is not a necessity for me because the signal is usually so good in my place that I don’t always need it to switch so quickly from one node to another.
      I play with the settings to see which is better, there wasn’t a huge difference so I just left it on smart. Just play with the setting a a bit to see what works better for you.

    I have watched several of your videos. Please send me a link and I’ll buy it. I have a 3000 sq ft, 2 story home. Kids and wife and myself with (several over 20) devices, from phones, smart tv’s, cameras and automated lights. We have Frontier with dedicated 1 gig up and down. Please send the link to a router and mesh system. Don’t care about cost. My kids and wife are driving me crazy with, “the internet sucks”.

    I am extremely curious: What is the difference between this and the BE63. Like, how come the BE63 is MORE EXPENSIVE with slightly worse specs?

    • @landpet
      @landpet  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      This should be better in terms of specs. I don’t have the results in front of me now to check but I do remember the be63 being amazing

    BE65 pro vs BE16000...both are for sale at Bestbuy for $799 which one should I get. I like them both. I am ATT fiber.

    • @landpet
      @landpet  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Both good, can’t go wrong either way assuming your internet speeds are less than 2.5Gbps. Be16000 has the advantage of quad band which can in theory handle more WiFi devices since there is an additional band. BE65 Pro can handle faster speeds

    I have read somewhere that mesh does if WAN goes down. Is that true? Also, 36 Watts! Times three is over 100 Watts. No way am I going to burn 100 Watts 24/7 just for wifi.

    Na, i'll stick with my omada setup. I've downgraded from xe75 pro (6e) to wifi 6 omada and i don't see any slower speed on wifi devices and have more control (vlans) and for POE cameras.
    P.S. i did buy be65 from amazon to test wifi 7 speed (i do have wifi 7 phone) and i didn't notice much improvement over wifi 6e.

      @@landpet wireless backhaul is fast on WiFi 6e devices but I don’t have any WiFi 7 devices to test since we are all iPhone users. Wired backhaul maxes out at 2.5 Gbps due to my cat5 Ethernet in the walls.
      It was tricky getting them set up. The problem was I didn’t delete my old network in the deco app. I just added the new decos. I was finally able to delete the old network and set up the new one with the same SSID and password after an hour but thankfully my wife was patient.
