I finally found someone who loved Lost Kingdom as much as I do! Such a cool and unique feel, I love how you weren’t even meant to be there in the first place. The fact that there are no inhabitants or interference from Bowser makes it seem like you’re the one exploring it for the first time, which captures the essence of Odyssey so damn well
If I had to rank them, I would say: Cloud Dark side Ruined Lost Cap Snow Darker side Moon Lake Mushroom Seaside Bowser Wooded Luncheon Cascade Sand Metro
I really don’t like Wooded Kingdom. The music is meh to me. I apparently have a very different taste in music than everyone else. Also, the color scheme isn’t very good as they picked some dull and boring colors to be the two main colors. A dull shade of green and a dull shade of red. I still pick Lake Kingdom and Snow Kingdom to be lower though. Sand Kingdom is my favorite. It has what I think are the two BEST music tracks in the game, the one when you’re near the stone ruins (I forgot what it’s called) and “Ice” which is played in sub areas. It really was the best. It also has the Bullet Bill, which is a rather bold move, considering they’re usually introduced late game. The Bullet Bill is one of my favorite enemies in the Mario series. Metro Kingdom is probably my second favorite. I like it a lot, but it’s impossible to remember where anything is because the street signs look too similar. It is a very memorable experience. The reason Metro isn’t my favorite is because there’s no variety, it’s pretty much the same all the way through. With the Sand Kingdom there is so much variety, from the Mo-Eye habitat with poison water and the oasis with the regular water to the inverted pyramid and the temple themed areas, to even an underground ice level. I don’t see why you ranked it only fourth, there’s something for every in there. I like Luncheon a lot, it definitely is the most colorful and unique kingdom, and it’s technically Mario Odyssey’s lava world. The lava world in Mario games usually takes place right outside the castle, it’s very common and has been used time and time again, which is why I like Luncheon for introducing something new. But WHY did you put SEASIDE KINGDOM at the top?!? It’s literally just a generic beach. Don’t tell me the Gushen is a good capture, it’s literally the most underutilized capture in the game. This also has one of the lamest bosses in the game, the Victorian Octorok (It’s real name is so long.) that’s basically a game of tag, but not even hard. Seaside Kingdom is still a water level. I think people doing these ranking videos are obviously biased because the Seaside Kingdom is prettier than the other kingdoms. Plus, there’s no particularly memorable or interesting moons here, they’re all very meh. Seaside as a whole is meh. I don’t even know why I watch these rankings if people are going to put Seaside at the top. Also, can we talk about how it’s weird that the time only changes when you defeat the boss? It’s stuck in a state of eternal day or eternal sunset. In fact, all kingdoms do this. But overall, here are my personal rankings. 1. Sand Kingdom 2. Metro Kingdom 3. Luncheon Kingdom 4. Bowser’s Kingdom 5. Cascade Kingdom 6. Cap Kingdom 7. Moon Kingdom Trilogy 8. Wooded Kingdom 9. Seaside Kingdom 10. Mushroom Kingdom (Leans too heavily on nostalgia that I don’t have, which is another case of bias.) 11. Snow Kingdom 12. Lake Kingdom 13. Ruined Kingdom 14. Cloud Kingdom
Mine is Cap kingdoms really cool theme Cascade kingdoms a great started Sand kingdom is awesome and underrated Lake kingdom is cool but a bit boring Wooded kingdoms really cool and theme Cloud kingdoms stupid I actually like ruined Seaside kingdoms the best Snow kingdoms really cool Metro kingdom is amazing Bowsers kingdom is breathtaking Moon kingdoms better outside than inside Luncheon kingdom is grea

YES! You put it so well, it is that whole feeling of "I shouldn't be here"
“…And that Mario gets to fight a frickin’ dragon!” is the highlight of this video!
