It's so true, people don't know how to use their blinkers in real life. Mario Odyssey is so unrealistic! :)
Here before reply storm
i know right man, Odyssey is to unrealistic;)o and i subbed and liked your vids:)
oh and i never seen the taxi blinkers hhahahahahahahhahhahahahahahahahahha
Nicobbq I hope you don't copy this list and I hope Nathaniel Bandy doesn't copy your list.
your right i hope that

Nathan: “I’ll never forget that moment when I first stepped out of the odyssey into the cascade kingdom”
*When you first come to the cascade kingdom you don’t have the odyssey.*
lmao i saw that too
Same here
lol
I was about to comment that but then saw your comment
Tiler Botín a
Why don’t more people like the seaside kingdom?? That’s easily my favorite kingdom. The most prettiest kingdom by far
It my second favorite (because metro is based off of new york and i come from new york)
It’s way better than lake
little scorpio yesss same! I’m not from New York but I visit sometimes and it’s one of my fav places ever
It sucks xD
It's better than every other kingdom beside Metro and Sand
"The one un-realistic thing in this kingdom is that the taxis actually use their blinkers when turning."
Then immediately shows a human transforming into forks and scaling a 90 degree wall.
Mario has always been known for its realism! LOL
Lmao
Very relatable moment there. We all transform into forks and scale 90 degree walls from time to time
Yeah and sometimes he says that something in another game isn't logical, (for an example smash bros) and I am like bruh there is a talking fox with a gun that can ride a space ship oh wait there are two Mexican man that can shoot fire.
Lol
Luncheon kingdom is the first food mario level.
Sweet sweet galaxy: Am I a joke to you?
True😌
Bowsers inside story
Isn't all the worlds in world base on food
And original Mario one was called cream river!
Sweets and food are different things...even tho sweets are kinda just sweet food
Idk about everyone else but I loved the Seaside Kingdom, the boss was cool I love the environment but the only thing I hate is the frickin volleyball minigame
LinkToTheZach 13 i known the seaside kingdom really is amazing but that d*** volleyball game
LinkToTheZach 13 That one was definitely enjoyable.
Djm Sketch You can cheat via controlling Cappy in two player.
Yes!
LinkToTheZach 13 my number 2 is seaside
R.I.P. Seaside, Snow, Dark, Darker, Cap, Ruined, and Cloud Kingdom.
Lol R.I.P IS correct
Yes seaside is better then lake
HybridkidYT you are right
Am i the only one that like cap kingdom?
He should make a ranking all kingdoms in mario oddessy
I love the Snow Kingdom
The civilians in the town are really cute
Even the music is calm and sweet
My favorite kingdom for exactly these two reasons
Yeah but it is too small. If it was like a mountain you could climb, it would easily been the best.
I think there’s not enough to do. I think some caves, a bigger town, or a mountain would make it a lot better.
EXACTLY
Ik, it’s the best hands down.
Am I the only one who gets really scared in the deep woods?
No da first time I saw T. rex i screamed
I didn't even know that you can capture the t rex I feel stupid
FattyMuffin me too 😂😂😂
Trust me, you’re not alone 😱😨😱😨😱😨😱
It's annoying for me first time I did after beating the game . I skipped the boss in that kingdom
"We've never really seen a food theme in a Mario game before."
Sweet Sweet Galaxy is now crying over in a corner
He said we’ve never *really* seen a food theme. That means we have not seen a lot.
sweet sweet galaxy was pretty short though
Yeah
What about sweet mystery
That Galaxy doesn’t count it was way to difficult
4:47 *PINK.GOLD.SOUP.*
Is that a theory of pink gold peach from?
That’s how shitty pink gold peach was made
its molten pink-gold
100% TRIGGERED
Molten pink gold peach for mario kart 9
The NPCs in Super Mario Odyssey are so much fun. I love how they all visit the other kingdoms, too -- seeing the Tosteraneans dance with their maracas to the Wooded Kingdom soundtrack is pure win.
he didn’t include seaside.
That’s my favourite kingdom
Edit: ( I’m glad so many people agree!
MINE TOO
with you on this one
Me to
It makes me feel like I'm on holiday but then I look up and I'm still in my house
The bubblanians are my second favourite locals. Guess which ones are my first:)
The first of many Top 10's on Mario Odyssey!
And yes, Top 10 Mario Games is on the way
Yes and odyssey is the best game ever.
Nathaniel Bandy Dude number one should be Cloud Kingdom what are you doing
I love all the kingdoms in this game XD
Am I the only one who loves the Seaside Kingdom?
Nathaniel Bandy PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO TOP 10 ODYSSEY SONGS!
I know it wasn't a main kingdom but I think the Ruined kingdom is beautiful, especially the dragon that stays up there when you beat it. When I first saw this kingdom I was stunned with it's uniqueness and incredible design. Sucks you only get to collect a few moons there, even after you beat the main game, I wish it had been utilised more.

Thank god someone else noticed. Preach 🙏🏻
I was just about to say that :P
Of Course, That Is Where He Got The Odyssey.
I am ashamed you never mentioned the New Donk City festival.
Matthew Smart hey hey it's ok buddy😢
Weaboo Potato Me To 😭
Matthew Smart I'm surprised about that too. That stuck with me like, forever
NB: There’s never been a food based kingdom in a mario game before.

17. Dark Side
I actually really liked the ruined kingdom because of how eerie it felt and I wish it was a little bigger
ZorchBoy same what a opportunity.
Me too! The dragon was so awesome!! Too bad it was only meant for that, one of the more darker kingdoms for sure, with there only being 6 moons in there kind of does suck, could’ve been so much more opportunities.
I also wish it was bigger
ZorchBoy It would have been so awesome if you could possess a baby dragon to fly around the ruined towers collecting moons and stuff. And the boss could have been made better by making his attacks harder to dodge and having you beat him by ground pounding his head 20 times (without him shaking you off until he electrifies you off), kinda justifying actually beating him (3 ground pounds should not have been enough).
Same the ruined kingdom is so underrated.
2:03 Your supposed to get Cheep Cheep in that hole and dive down
My_YT_Life_Is_ Trash That’s no fun :(
Wow I never realized that
Wait really?
Yeah Cappy says a line saying that it was Clever plus they wont make a Moon like that if there wasnt cheep cheeps
My_YT_Life_Is_ Trash zzz
I love how you highlighted all of the good aspects of the kingdoms. Usually people use the 10th place (or last place) for the thing they hate the most, but here even the 10th place is great.
I particularly love the Ruined Kingdom simply because of the boss fight. That thing killed me half a dozen times before I could get the timing right, but it's so fun!
I really loved the SeaSide kingdom, and the boss was actually fun.
The boss was triggering because of how fast he moves and the kingdom is water sooooo, IT SUCKS.
I agree with lotus
Seaside is overrated. The surface is literally a nothing burger, (to be fair Lake shares this problem as well, and it’s even worse there) the Gushen is very weird to control and it has little to no substance. It feels like a filler kingdom.
No Snow? Those Shiverians are the cutest damn things EVER!
That one was close! I don't find the level quite as fun to play as the others though
Nathaniel Bandy That is true, though the town is still a lot of fun to explore
Vexian
they're so *CUTE*
the snow kingdom is my favorite cause of those guys i just love them
Same bacca bananas

My list:
10. Lake Kingdom
9. Lost Kingdom
8. Cascade Kingdom
7.Bowser's Kingdom
6. Seaside Kingdom
5. Mushroom Kingdom
4. Wooded Kingdom
3. Luncheon Kingdom
2. Sand Kingdom
1. Metro Kingdom
Yeah, that's pretty much my list as well.
I made list too! Lol.
EpicMarioBros all I know is that mushroom kingdom is number one, I was just so surprised and happy in every minute, the m64 outfit and peach’s castle music got me
11:Lake
10: Lost
9: Luncheon
8: Frozen
7: Cascade
6: Bowser
5: Sand
4: Wooded
3: Mushroom
2: Seaside
1: Metro
EpicMarioBros Thank you for realizing seasides amazing ness
Metro Kingdom is amazing
The boss battle is fun
It’s so fun to explore the city
There’s a great storyline for the kingdom
There are a lot of little awesome details
The 2d bit during the concert is great
I love metro it is my favorite
How could he forget seaside kingdom? That’s my favorite one!!!
It sucks xD
Top *10* Mario Odyssey Kingdoms
There are more than 10
General Grievous, No it doesn’t!!!
NoName Studios Yes it does...
Its my favourite one too
My favorite kingdom is for sure The Sand Kingdom! I spent the most time there and eventually connected with it so much! I love the Mexican theme!!
Milly Lessin
Same my friend! The design is beautiful and one of the most expansive kingdoms in Odyssey.
For some reason, the sand kingdom makes me think of the Sand Ocean stages from F-Zero GX lol
Omg ikr
I disagree, I think I like the luncheon kingdom the most
I like the main village but I hate how spacious it is. It takes ages to get anywhere and most of it is puzzles.
Luncheon is such a good kingdom. I have no idea why people don't like it. The only thing I can say, is that its a bit annoying to get around without teleporting, but its just so fun. Not slow at all
Gamesforus I know because it is a pretty fun kingdom with a lot of secrets in it. The main part I loved about it was becoming the lava bubbles and zooming around the courses.
Gamesforus the luncheon kingdom is the worst kingdom
LUNCHEON KINGDOM IS THE BEST
IT'S FOOD
Gamesforus It's cool and there's tons of exploring (not slow, btw) but it just doesn't stick out for me. I think the opening after the 1st boss killed it for me, but it's in my list anyway
The only thing I didn't like about the Luncheon Kingdom was finding the moons. Also, when thinking back about all of the bosses, I totally forgot about the Spewart battle
What I like about Super Mario Odyssey is how it takes basic concepts that belong into Mario but gives them a new twist.- For example making a Sand Kingdom, but not the usual yellow desert, but red sand and Mexican themed. Or not having the usual Forest + Poison Lake, but Forest with cool mechanical stuff.
0:42
NB: *says that the lake kingdom is gorgeous*
Me: *sees Mario’s snorkel get eyes*
Me again: 😣
11:45 but you dont step out of the odyssey the first time you arrive here

*looks at price*
e
lmao
Lel
11:40 hold up, you don’t step out of the odyssey to go to the cascade kingdom for the first time, you use the power line
Personally I like the luncheon kingdom. The forks are adorable and they’re really fun to fling on. I also really like capturing all the other enemy’s, and becoming the meat to lure the bird was so fun!
I literally didn't even know Deep Woods existed until pretty far into the post game when I decided to 100% it. I had just never fallen down before, so when I did I was so surprised at just how much was in this game.
hahaha wow that's crazy but like a suprise similar to mine but which is kind of the exact opposite 😂 I found it quite quick when I just stepped out of the odyssey and explored the area by jumping around this entrance forest area, but I failed and accidently jumped above the edge saying sth to me like "omg nooo how stupid.....wow wait I didn't die, the map goes on wtf??? 😂" very good idea imo..and the kingdoms theme is my favorite of the game :)
11:15 ummm my first encounter was the sand kingdom

Retro Kingdom (Bob Omb Battlefield/Whomps Fortress)
Star Kingdom (Comet Observatory)
Mountain Kingdom( Rock Candy Mines and other mountain areas)
Flower Kingdom (Sarasaland)
Yoshi's island (and Toad's candyland)
Wooded kingdom and luncheon are my favourite kingdoms.
Also, I hated that 2d section in the mushroom kingdom. Too slow
Jacapuss Coolguy same. Those are my favorites as well.
Jacapuss Coolguy dude same
Jacapuss Coolguy My problems with the 2D section in the Mushroom Kingdom were:
-The really ugly grey / red background.
-How spammy the bullet bills were.
-How inconsistent jumping off bullet bills to get to the first moon was (got it by complete luck).
-The minimalist designs of the gravity planet things.
-The odd controls in the 2D gravity section.
My number 1(s) moon, metro, wooded, bowser, dark and darker side, sand , snow , cap i know its a lot but yeah
YES YES
BEST KINGDOMS
ALSO RUINED KINGDOM
Dunno if I already done this but, my top 10:
10: Lost Kingdom
9: Lake Kingdom
8: Luncheon Lingdom
7: Cap Kingdom
6: Mushroom Kingdom
5: Moon Kingdom
4: Wood Kingom
3: Sand Kingdom
2: Bowser's Kingdom
1: Metro Kingdom
Yeah bowsers kingdom is way too underrated
FattyMuffin yehhh I was actually debating about putting it at #1 but the graphics and the jazz music in the Metro Kingdom is beyond compare
Yeah I agree. The festival is totally one of the most emotional moments in the game.
FattyMuffin true dat😍
If everyone gonna ignore that bunny snipe on the Moon Kingdom
2:43 yea i noticed that too
“ you can be a t- rex and murder everything in your path, pure happiness”-nathaniel bandy 2017
11:39 but you don't step out the odyssey the first time. You come to the cascade kingdom from a capture
I also like how the various rock/lava colors mean different temperatures. Examples are blue meaning cool, purple meaning warm, and red meaning hot respectively. And when it comes to lava, even it’s various colors mean different temperatures. Like pink meaning slightly melted solid rocks (which explains how the pink lava is compact), and orange meaning completely molten (liquid rock).
3:23 Yay it’s glad to see that I’m not the only one who thinks dry Bones is the best Mario kart character!

5. ruined kingdom, that dragon is sick
4. lake or that beach level, they both were nice, especially watching a speedrun
3. luncheon, underrated kingdom
2. metro, cool at first but not as good as I expected
1. sand kingdom, its what an "open world level" should be like
Crowtem you shall put metro and first or I’ll swear in your Christian server

Nathaniel Bandy’s full name is Nathaniel “Coinboy” Bandathaniel
i HATE the 2d section in the mushroom kingdom that you like, it is SUPER frustrating to complete
Jessica Zai the mushroom kingdom sucks in my opinion. It's just a bunch of boss rematches
I enjoy the 2D section

To this day I still enjoy the Sand Kingdom the most and find myself spending the most time there.Lake is also a very good kingdom (sized perfectly and has a reasonable amount of moons)

10. Cascade kingdom
9. Lost kingdom
8. Moon kingdom
7. Sand kingdom
6. Mushroom kingdom
5. Bowser’s kingdom
4. Luncheon kingdom
3. Seaside kingdom
2. Wooded kingdom
1. Metro kingdom
Honourable mentions include the lake and the cap kingdom which are still great and fun to explore.
did everybody just forget about the ruined kingdom?
Tyler Murphy yes
What about the snow kingdom
this is just my opinion but, i prefer the older style of top 10s. the transitions were great and i'm going to miss them :(
SMG me too:(
SMG Same! I miss it so much.
NUMBER 5... (Wee wee woo woo) *Music ensues.
Ta ta Ta ta ta ta Ta ta
I agree.
My favorite is the Lost Kingdom. Beautiful atmosphere and love the music.
My favorite kingdoms have to be the luncheon kingdom, I love the colors and it's fun to become a fork and fling around areas, as well as becoming one of those fireballs. I love and the seaside kingdom cause it's so visually pretty to look at and swim in. I don't love water areas but I loved traveling through using those octopus dudes. Such fun!
Mushroom Kingdom is Awesome
10. Some of my favorite things here was the music, and swimming.
9. Low Gravity is fun, the final boss was fun as well.
8. Mmmmmm....hot, but delicious!
7. The Samurai outfit worked well, and the music made me feel motivated.
6. Ahhhhh yes.....
5. The Deep Woods are scary, but such a thrill for danger.
4. I like playing here with the Explorer Outfit.
3. I just love the Cascades here!
2. Wonderful and peaceful....
1. The jazzy music really fits with the location.
4:28
“We’ve never really seen a food theme in a Mario game before”
*New Super Mario Bros. U crying*
Metro kingdom I definitely have to agree takes the cake. it's not every day u get to travel through a city as part of a Mario level and aesthetically, it's easily one of the best looking levels there is. Plus all the cool stuff u get to do in it really gives it bonus points
Although shoutout to the cascade, sand and seaside kingdoms. They really nailed the aesthetics there too and it's great how much of them u can explore
Want a controversial opinion? Bowser's Kingdom > Metro Kingdom
Midnightfjord The Polynesian God I actually agree with you
Metro Kingdom > everything
Metro Kingdom > The Universe
My unpopular opinion
All Kingdoms > Lost Kingdom
Bowser's Kingdom > Every other kingdom
Great idea! Keep up the video quality, you deserve way more recognition for how good the videos are!
Another thing about lake kingdom: most of the surfaces in the kingdom look like they're made of some sort of fabric material. One of the most notable examples of this is that zipper sub area. There are also little sequins that can be seen on the lakeshore
Glydon is introduced in the Sand Kingdom not the Lost Kingdom
5:50 that's not salt it's sugar... Cause this game is sweet
E10x Gaming *no it’s confirmed salt*
Amazing You got a moon! *Piled on the salt*
E10x Gaming sadly it is salt:(
No it’s salt from II she was killed. Yay
I first encountered and Captured Glydon in the Sand Kingdom because I stayed for a bit after I restored peace to it.
DuncanDude 22 me too. ..I'm too ocd to move on to another kingdom while moons are still attainable in said place
Watching this while I'm hyping myself up for my first 100% play through, i got as many moons as i coud then fought the boss. Didn't realize how many moons I had missed. It's so cool to see all the worlds pains and perks. I love all the kindoms. And I can't wait to play again
Nathaniel Bandy:Luncheon Kingdom is the first food level
Sweet Sweet Galaxy would like to know your location,
The thing is it's many power Stars away.
My List:
10. Snow Kingdom
(I love that the stage has this cool contrast between the "weather outside is frightful" vibe up top, and the cozy community underneath. Also, the racing was a nice challenge and the 2D moon(s) were some of the most fun in the game.)
9. Mushroom Kingdom
(Fan service. So much fan service.)
8. Lost Kingdom
(Never, in the rest of the game, did I feel more like an explorer than in this level. It's smaller in scope, but it feels full to the brim with things to do and secrets to collect. I was happy to return to this one for a variety of reasons throughout my playthrough).
7. Sand Kingdom
(Honestly, this level is only on the list because I acknowledge that it is, objectively, a marvel in level design. That said, it didn't really jive with me. Maybe my excitement was blunted a little bit by how much we saw in trailers leading up to release, or the fact that I'm just not a huge fan of ice, or maybe because you can see most of the level from the starting place, but it just wasn't my favourite one. That said, for introducing you to the scope of the game and its surprises, this is certainly a level to show people and be like "look at this work of art". Because that's what Sand Kingdom is. It's a work of art, it's just not my flavour. Still, I can appreciate it for what it is).
6. Seaside Kingdom
(there's something truly awe-inspiring about the artwork in this level. I know, I've maybe lost all clout with you having been so dismissive of the Sand Kingdom, but this was nonetheless something I was excited to explore my first time through. Some of the secrets, both above the water and beneath, were expertly well hidden and I honestly enjoyed looking for the purple coins in this level more than any other - precicely because the under-water segments were, shockingly, a joy to comb through. When a Nintendo game can get me excited to PLAY the water level rather than simply get it over with, that's saying something. That volleyball game though, ohhh boy.)
5. Bowser's Kingdom
(I completely agree with the video here - this was one of the most exciting to explore in terms of the gameplay itself. The birds were super fun to capture and figure out, the most hidden moons seemed hidden super fairly, and this level was the first to invite me to break some of the rules I thought I had learned about the game - and be rewarded for it! Like jumping on the flagpoles, for example, or climbing on other things that you thought were just decoration until you started finding purple coins there. Well done, Bowser!)
4. Wooded Kingdom
(There's a ton of variety here. From the deep woods to the ominous, dark tones of the opening stage, to the - uhm - rust-punk vibe of the rest of the level; the contrast between the vibrant, organic forest and the community of green-thumbed loveable rustbuckets really brings this stage to life and makes it feel arguably believable. As people, we're predisposed to look for patterns, but sometimes, reality simply refuses to be cattegorized. The contrast between the synthetic and the organic in this level seems just absurd enough to be "stranger than fiction", and therefore belieable. And for that, it has my respect. I'd happily move into the Wooded Kingdom if I were in Mario and Cappy's shoes.)
3. Cascade Kingdom
(This is everything you want in a Mario stage, and sets the stage for the rest of the game. Between the original and post-Moon moons, there's a spectrum of difficulty here that really offers something to every kind of gamer. It forces you to explore and think outside the box. Your initial exposure to it as you zip off the Cap Kingdom is utterly charming, and getting that first moon is oddly satisfying - and it's only the first of nearly a thousand more to come. Hats off to Nintendo for giving us a great first impression to what is truly a game to write home about. See what I did there?)
2. Metro Kingdom
(Again with the contrasts, this is the most unique Mario level I've ever played in that it defies our expectations by being the most "normal" of environments. No one bats an eye when an Italian plumber has to run through a linear environment eating flowers that cause him to shoot fire out of his hands, stomp on angry mushrooms with feet and avoid carnivorous plants that live in green pipes. But putting that Italian plumber in an American metropolis? Cue the 'and everyone loses their minds' Dark Knight references. I love this level for exposing the lunacy that has become of my brain and my expectations of this medium as an art form. When I played the festival portion, I didn't want it to end; it truly almost brought me to tears. The nostalgia. The challenge. The MUSIC. I could do that portion alone endless times just for the glee of it all. This level earns a standing ovation in its own right.)
1. Darker Side
(Perhaps I shot the sacred cow by putting Darker Side on this list, let alone above Metro Kingdom, but c'mon - it's great when such an accessible game can have such a respectable peak in its difficulty spectrum. I loved the Champion's Road in SM3DW; it's probably my favourite Mario stage to date. I spent Odyssey wondering if they would make a stage with that degree of difficulty again, and they didn't disappoint. I love me a challenge.)

I know this is an old comment, but I really agree with your list! But my fave is probably Seaside Kingdom because it's so pretty and relaxing ☺️

2:30 I never noticed that the purple coins in the Moon Kingdom were star bits! I love that reference!
My favorite is actually cap kingdom! From the purple coin spot to the moon spots (other then the hint art of course) Luigi’s balloon world spots and pretty much everything about the kingdom! I can’t stress enough how underrated it is.
You didn't mention the festival in New Donk City! Also, NDC track in next Mario kart?
Obsidian Walrus more like ndc battle arena
"We've never really seen a food theme in a Mario game before..."
*shoves about 50 dessert themed levels at you*

I prefer the seaside kingdom over lake kingdom because it’s really fun exploring the ocean and I really love the gushens and going too the giant glass cup filled with water and of course the dreadful volleyball
