- As many of you may know I recently ranked all the bosses in super mario maker 2. Since super mario odyssey is my favorite game of all time I decided I thought it would be fun to rank all the bosses in super mario odyssey from worst to best! For this list there were 31 mario odyssey boss fights to rank due to many remacths like in the mushroom kingdom or dark side. I don't make many videos on super mario odyssey so if you enjoy it then please let me know! but with that join me as I rank all 31 bosses in Super Mario Odyssey from the worst to the best!

So while I was getting music for this video I found out that the mechabroodal is actually called the robobrood which is so weird cause I swear everyone refers to it as the mechabroodal. I might be going crazy here but I ain’t gonna stop calling it the mechbroodal

The cloud kingdom bowser is just so badass. It’s amazing to watch bowser take off his hat and just have it sprout arms, while some chilling electro guitar starts playing his theme and then he jumps, spins, and roars.
I honestly think they should’ve given the lake kingdom a main boss. It kinda sucks that lake and wooded are supposed to technically be equal but wooded is way bigger. Even tho lake is an underwater level, there’s no reason why they wouldn’t be able to come up with a good underwater boss

Ali My theory is that he hated playing against rosalina in smash like he said in his unpopular opinions video, but the rosalina simps attacked him like the one up there, so now he hates the character completely.

There is a change between Spewart from Wooded to Spewart in Luncheon, he actually starts walking slowly towards Mario, but you can easily miss that.

Adding for the normal octopus guy boss being good: you can leave the citizens dying by leaving the kingdom, that will definetly hurt the ball guy
I would put Mr octopus in number 3,the idea of doing the boss throughout the kingdom and not just in a small stage is really original!

You know what's funny? In the Bowser Kingdom fight, I wait for Harriet to drop both bombs, then knock them back at her, which I find to be the easiest way to pull the strat off. Also, when you mentioned that other trick, it was called a Dino Skip Skip, where the player completely skips the dino skip.
If you've ever heard of Superstar Mode, the Mushroom Mollusque fight has it being the same arena, just without it raining, so if you're interested in that, I highly recommend checking it out!

Indeed that's the fortunate/unfortunate nature of first bosses
I love the bosses. Lord of lightning rematch is number 3 for it's presentation and being awesome. Number 2 is Bowser's kingdom Robobrood. It's fun, unique and is an interesting battle. Number 1 is the secret final boss Bowser. It has unique dialogue depending on what you wear is already a good start, but it gets better. His fight is amazing. It may be easy, but it is really fun and amazing to watch. His attacks are fun to dodge and turning his own hat against him is so satisfying and it's a blast to fight him. I also like that he counters with flaming tail swipes and punching away like no tomorrow. His fire breath looks beautiful and it's a great fight. After you beat him you control Bowser and have one of the best escape sequences in the mario franchise. You slash away and breath fireballs to destroy rocks and make pillars fall over. There even is a 8-bit section with bowser which adds some more detail. After that comes the final phase. You need to destroy four pillars so you can go to the middle and destroy the cube and then launching out of the moon cave ending the game. The reason why I love this fight so much is it perfectly ends an amazing game, but also because the boss theme against Bowser is one of the best final boss themes if not the best boss final boss theme in mario history. It's epic, beautiful and is just amazing making the fight even better. Those were my top 3 favorite bosses.
My favorite thing about the Mecha-Broodal is the name for the speedrun tricks, which is called "Target Aquired"

Dude I absolutely hate the mecha wiggler fight, it’s easily my least favorite
why I like the boss is it because of the tanks controls

im not sure if my least favorite is mechawiggler or whom we should not pronounce
mechawiggler is fun the first time but the second time i just want to beat it as fast as possible

The Moon Kingdom Bowser rematch has him immediately throwing his rocks at the player, because in the Cloud Kingdom fight, he'd get stunned.

I believe even with minimum capture strategies you still need to beat the bosses to get moons. For example yes you can skip mechawiggler but you still need to beat it eventually for it’s multimoon

i think that why spewart is weak and doesn't have an one-hit purple vomit is assist mode, it would break the boss battle and mario will just be bubbled back to the arena and the boss will be so weak.
For Mechawiggler I always missed that one segment in Phase 2 but then, Mollusque-Lanceur and Cloud Kingdom Bowser have got the best music

I like how Odyssey Central plays Pigstep (from Minecraft) during the Rango part
Madame broode moon cave has one of the coolest superstar mode changes being that the arena is covered un lava tomatoes and lanterns and that there are two madame broodes and you have to defeat both
I got Super Mario Odyssey on February 4. I love it. It might even beat Super Mario Maker 2 for my favorite Mario game. I had so much fun against the Ruined Dragon. (AKA The Lord of Lightning) It just felt so intense. Isn't it obvious why I want more Super Mario Odyssey videos?

The Dragon Boss is something I'd never expect in a Mario Game
note the octopus thing also has speed strat, you can spray horizontally at ??? while hes to high to hit vertically
Knuklelotic is considered one of the hardest bosses in the game. Because it spawns a lot a skeletons and ice spikes at the spike time his throwing ice balls while your his knuckle is a hard dodge too
I think the best part of the Mecha Broodal fight is the music!

I think it’s clear that the Bowser battles were better than the Broodal battles. The Broodals are just pathetic. Tbh I was clutching my wedding Bowser amiibo for the final battle. Bowser’s my favorite character.

Both Bowser fights were I think the best in the game! Bowser himself is giant he has some different tactics and looks sharp in his wedding outfit!

In my second playthrough I never caught the boss in the lake kingdom until I fully defeated bowser
For octopus man aka Number 30 on the list I think they changed the area so it’s not an entire kingdom you’re fighting him in again but I agree with you they should make something less simple than that
By the way, Spewart does different shapes in each boss fight.

I wouldn’t consider rango hard except for on ice because the ground is slippery. Moon topper is way harder for me because of the number of hats and the moon gravity throws me off
