Born in Mena. Raised in Cove. Man i sure do miss it there. Everytime I would hear that horn blow I'd would want to go to my favorite railroad crossing that was in Vandervoort.

I always enjoy watching films of my old stomping grounds.
This very same track goes right through "SMALL PLACES" called
    "WICKES", "GRANNIS", "GILLHAM",
and meets a YARD at "DE QUEEN".
    When I was a child "1979",
12 years old all of the "K.C.S" trains then was
    "WHITE/RED K.C.S LETTERS".
Very often you would see a
    "BURLINGTON NORTHERN" assisting,
    "BURLINGTON NORTHERN'S"
    (before they merged with
    "SANTA FE RAILROAD)
were "GREEN/WHITE B" and inside the "WHITE B, GREEN G".
The only time the train stopped in "GRANNIS ARKANSAS" then
was to drop off/ pick up
    "FEED CARS" at the then
    "LANE'S POULTRY+ PROCESSING"
    PLANT, (before it became "TYSON").
Since then they tore out the track and the silo's that use to be behind the plant, and the tracks went right between them.
    "GOD HOW THINGS CHANGE!"

I worked 41 plus years on the KCS on the Maintenance of way and worked on that district! I wonder how many crossties and rail we have replaced over the years! Constant maintenance though the mountains especially replacing curve rail because of the weight of the trains wearing it out!

    • @rebelbaron7003
      @rebelbaron7003 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Isn't it funny how the hobby mimics real life railroading?
      I run G gauge trains,O,and HO.
On G gauge engines like a SD-402 ,an SD-45,or any of the SD-70s you have to place railroading locks between the rails on the 4 curves to keep the track ( electrical contacts) together.
The G gauge engines are so heavy and the side torque exerts so much pressure the rails pull apart.

My grandfather owned the white house on the north side of Heavener that looked on the railroad as it entered the yard. In fact, if you swung your camera over to the right during that first shot of the train rolling into the Heavener yard, you might have seen his front porch. When my grandfather, who had been a brakeman on the KCS, passed away, there was a huge ice storm across the Four States Area. Impossible for a car to make it up from Shreveport to Heavener. So my dad, an engineer on the KCS, crawled his truck over to Deramus Yard, where he hopped on the freight train heading north to Heavener. It was the only vehicle capable of making the trip safely. Thanks for posting this video. It brought back some great memories. Love Heavener, where I still have some relatives, and the Rich Mountain area.

I want to say 15-20 a day. Best strategy in my opinion is to wait in either Mena or Heavener and chase across the whole mountain. There's usually always something in the yard in Heavener waiting to head out.

my question is are cops and sheriff officer and judges and district attorneys above the law of this nation if not then why in smith county kansas and state of kansas do this
    1. aid in identity theft,
    2. robbery of assets , gold , art work, cash, and vandalization of property,

    6. judge order a shoot to kill order on me and order me to leave all assets and home and state with in 30 min or i be shot an killed the judges step son i turned in for drug dealing on a concrete job site and the judge was on the take of sales of step son and drunk on bench and drives drunk home from the office.
    7. home invasion victim and the criminals have more rights to home and assets and home owners identity and credit cards and debit cards then the owner of property with owner name on them.
    8. vandalization of home non stop by criminals and stalking an attempts on my life gun pulled on me from criminals, identity , stalking, attempted to run me down by car, shoot me while pumping gas, attempted to kill me in my own house breaking the front door down criminals have more rights to my life and assets and home and credit then the owner of said property which i hold a quick claim deed to and receipts for.
    9. public corruption has more rights to target disable veterans and steal veterans assets, destroyed home, identity theft, credit card theft, debit card theft, company assets of veterans, veterans disability va payment to his bank account stolen by criminals,
    10. force veteran out of his own home and lives a lone in dead of winter and officer attempted to have hired person to break into home , vandalized home, stalked veteran, identity theft of assets and funds credit and debit banking cards,
    11. destroy veterans life, steal veterans savings, force veteran to sign plea deal b y gun point, stalking a veteran across state lines from smith county kansas to other side of red cloud Nebraska about 30 miles in nebraska, 2 sheriff officer,
    12. steal veterans abstract documents of home i bought with company check and i owned the company and all stocks. the district attorney also stolen the funds i paid him to have it put in my name and documents.
    13. judge can have his step son deal drugs and he gets a 60 percent of drug sale and be drunk on bench and order a shoot to kill order on disable veteran and order him to sign plea deal after 189 days passed under gun point in court room and order me out of state and leave all assets behind and gives me 30 min. to do so and officer escort me 30 plus miles out of state of kansas
    14. sheriff officer steals from disable veteran ram sacked my home stolen gold, art work, cash for projects since bank accounts compromised from identity theft.
    15. attorney general refuse to look at evidence and so did victim of crime and was order not to do anything.
    16. police report said i was drunk , sober, misconduct, obedience officer was cult member of men's club that throw blood on churches and condemns woman rights.
17 this criminal in color of blue allowed this crime to take place 2006 to nov 22, 2020 and is still going on.
    18. legal aid refuse to fill out any irs loss forms 4681 and do taxes correctly stolen credit cards and debit cards and home destroyed va disability as income which none of it is income all loss or none income under federal laws.
    19. where in any law book is that buying a home in state of KANSAS against the law i have looked high and low, or turning a criminal in is a crime or turning some one that is public corruption or organized crime rings from drugs, grand theft auto, embezzlement ring in for breaking the laws of this nation.
    20. Obama and joe biden for 8 long yrs refuse to act or do anything, i sent donald trump a letter i made national news on msn in jan 2017 and got a letter from cfpb order from white house but i go no justice just injustice to the max.
