Any of those, or any of the songs they collaborated with other artists ('Utopia', 'What About Us', etc.) would be good :)

Great reaction! Totally agree with your sentiments on this song. I love the Prog and Extreme Metal influences on some of their other tracks, but I also love how straight Priest this song is. Unfiltered love for classic Heavy Metal!
Their live performances of "Dreamcrusher" and "Frozen Steel" are ones that there aren't actual music videos, but "Dr. Light Productions" captures it awesomely, and you get to hear the fact that she doesn't need studio recording and multiple attempts to hit those notes, that's just Ms. Slayes. I thought "there's no way she can do that live," and I was so so wrong.

This chick's voice is amazing. The song is awesome too. Another great singer was John Patrick McDonald (RIP) AKA Midnight of Crimson Glory. His voice was insane. Check out the songs Red Shark or Masque of Red Death. I think you will be amazed.

Though the title is "Test Your Metal," I really think it's a play on words, because what they're saying is, "Test your mettle," which is finding out what you're made of. Finding out what you have inside, especially when stuff gets hard and you don't know the strength you have within. It's why I compare events and situations in life to being forged in fire, why I look at hard situations as being a trial. Because when you take a couple of punches and realize you're not made of glass...the possibilities are endless.

another great female lead band is Within Temptation, they give me Nightwish vibes with the orchestral, operatic, and melodic sound but are different enough to be unique, songs Our Solemn Hour or The Howling. keep up the good work my man!

Has anyone ever mentioned the Band Within Temptation to you? A good start would be the track Stand My Ground. They are another Female fronted Rock band from Europe that came up in the Mid 90's as with Nightwish. They are still going and are worth a listen. IMHO.

You should check out Rage of Light. Melissa Bonny does beautiful clean vocals and SAVAGE growls, most of the time in the same song! I recommend "I Can, I Will", "Mechanicals", and their covers of "Judas" (Lady Gaga) and "Twilight of the Thunder God" (Amon Amarth). Oh, and she also plays the part of "Queen of the Damned" on the Warkings "Sparta" video. She's got awesome talent and she's HAF!
You should check out Eye of Chaos by Once Human. You won't be disappointed with this female fronted metal band from LA.

As a fellow UTA fan, I think you might also enjoy another Canadian band called "Kobra and the Lotus". Again, an amazing frontwoman, who has a very unique tone and colour to her voice. Check out their song 'Soldier' or 'Prevail'.
