    That's great... Thanks..
    Do you have a recipe for the thick fruit syrups that juice shops use to squirt in a pattern inside the glass before adding the juice. Perhaps it's just jam watering down a little.. kind of the thickness of molasses. I would love a recipe please.. blue, red, green, orange

    Is there a reason you stirred it before the line juice? just curious because you would think it would be easier to add the juice to the water before its mixed?

    • @HomeCookingwithSomjit

      @KingKatura. To mix water and sugar and also to dissolve the sugar before adding lime juice. 😀

      Hi F â I ť H A ñ G ê L, thank you for the comment 😀 To make jelly, the basic ingredients are gelatin or agar-agar, water, and some flavouring (sugar, fruit puree, etc). Without gelatin or agar-agar, the jelly will not become firm. Hope it helps 😀

    If i wanna add color ? Should i at the beginning when adding the ingredients in the pot ?

    • @HomeCookingwithSomjit
      @HomeCookingwithSomjit  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi @nekosmoove7724, if you'd like to add colouring to this syrup, you can add and mix it in once the syrup has cooled. Do make sure the colouring is water-based and not oil or gel based as oil/ get will not mix well. Also, please note that the colour that you add to the syrup will affect the final appearance of the future juice/ smoothie/ drink - so I would recommend to use colouring for the drink and not this syrup 😀

    • @HomeCookingwithSomjit
      @HomeCookingwithSomjit  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Juice 999. Thank you for the question. Yes, sure you can do that. However, please take note that if it is too little water, it could turn out to be caramel instead of syrup. So you can put 250ml of water first, if it is too dry, add a bit of water for the consistency you desire. The less water used the thicker the syrup can be. . Happy cooking 😀

      Hi @nekosmoove7724, this recipe is to make the liquid sugar in juices, smoothies or any kind of flavoured drink. This simple syrup recipe meant to be sweet, so you can add 1-2 tsp of it to other drinks 😊 It is not meant to consumed as a drink on its own.

    • @HomeCookingwithSomjit
      @HomeCookingwithSomjit  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi @nekosmoove7724, for flavouring, I would suggest adding to the syrup after it has cooled too. This makes sure the high heat will not affect the strength of the flavouring. Do note that your juice/ smoothie/ future drink may carry that additional flavouring and affect its taste as well. Happy cooking 😀
