Vault 76 wasn't a Control Vault, Vault 76 was full of people with stats of 1 across the board who were told that they were the best, brightest and our hope for the future then sent out into the teeth of the rads half life to mark out just what of the missile silos automated defenses remained operational with their corpses. Should all the automated defenses be inoperable, they would die of the rads after only 25 years from the war anyway.

For whatever reason I have it all wired up it just won't stop with these green blocks like kind of jiggling above every component. Almost like urging me that I still need to do something. And then I was seeing something on TH-cam that said it's like a glitch. A common glitch it's called The institute glitch do you know anything about it is there anyway you could help me??
5:10 Fallout 76 is NOT an MMO, it's just an Online Multiplayer Game, there's no MASSIVE amount of players on a server. World of Warcraft is a MMO, with up to 5k players per server, while Fallout 76 has up to 24 player per server. That's not massive at all.
Well that's helpful. Never played any of the games, but halfway through the TV show and my impression so far had been that the nuclear war happened sometime in the 1950s or early 1960s in an America that was far more racially integrated than it was in reality. And I just kept wondering why everyone seemed to be a couple centuries old but that didn't seem weird to any of them.
The audio in the background doesnt fit at all, had me stopping the video many times to check if there was something else playing on my computer. Great video, thanks.
The reason the fallout universe stayed in a 1950s type style because of the same reason in the real world currently, we are stuck in a “modern” type of style, buildings, cars, clothes, music and such really has not changed since like 2010 which was almost 25 years ago. If you think about 25 year gaps in other points in history like say from the 1950s to the 70s, they are distinct eras as apposed to our own time line where a 25 year gap has not really changed much as far as culture goes. I think it is sort of the idea that the post modern late stage capitalism system will trap human evolution and train us to be the same damn creature. Every times. We are now stuck in this stage I believe.
That entire retro aesthetic was always present in the series, but in the first two games, it was very much in the background and not in foreground. The old world was gone, and the first game wasn't subtle about it, either. The art Deco faces on the walls of ruined buildings were meant to look alien and bizarre to the inhabitants of the wasteland.
This is cool. Played the 1st fallout in 97/98 when I was 10. Played Fallout 2 as a teen. Fallout 3 was very exciting after such a huge break. Played Tactics, didn't really care for it.
Thank you for making this!!! As a big nerd for this game…could you please redo this video in chronological order, and not necessarily in the order that the games were made? That would give us a better story, in order. PS New Vegas is my favorite
I think fallout 5 should return to LA to rebuild the NCR or Brotherhood of Steel. I would like to see Base building as not just an outpost but evolve into an actual city in the spirit of sim settlements, where taxes and laws shape the town . There should also be a trade aspect to the game where you can buy in one town and sell to another for profit so there would be trade routes that extend not only to local towns and settlements but long distance ones like new Vegas, Pittsburgh, DC, and Boston. There could also be a stronghold like mechanic that lets you liberate vaults/towns and repurpose them for your faction. Another thing is having armies and large battles like a world event that requires you to train your factions armies upgrading them with tech and using them to defend your settlements from opposing factions. As for activities itv would be cool to see hunting legendary beasts, courier missions, bounties, reputation system, marriage, having kids, building businesses, and my biggest peeve is not being able to clean up streets or restoring/repairing old buildings removing cars and junk around your settlements.
there is so much wrong here, I don't even know where to start, it would be easier to make a video about why these videos are usually inacurate in many places and how so....video could have been an hour and it still wouldn't have been a "complete" time line
I have Fallout 3 and New Vegas on a Pc and 4 on a Playstation 4, I remember when I've watched my big brother's Fall Out 4 gameplay and because of Nostalgia and your own base building Fall Out 4 is my favourite Fall Out game but which Fall Out I should start playing first? i have 3 unistalled and FNV, 4 and the OG games still on my PC. This show is going to retcon the later out of existence. Bethesda can choke if they pull that crap.
I already binged the show. It's awesome, and I will watch it through again. I have only played F4, and I know I need to play 3 and NV, but with this little history lesson in mind a second watch-through of the show will hit a little deeper. Nice lore breakdown, thanks!
I never managed to get into FA one and two but would 100% recommend 3 and NV. Tbh I loved FO76 and think it was so interesting. Unsure if one can still play it but would recommend as well after 3 and NV
Honestly feel bad for those who got to know the series with 3 and don’t have the desire to play 1 and 2 because “it looks old”. 2 is probably my favorite game ever
What I read as to a big reason why the tech all still looks retro even though it’s still futuristic is the transistor. From what I read their universe concentrated on tech like nukes. Because of this the transistor wasn’t invented or built until 1960s or 70s. Then it wasn’t fully utilized until the 2030s. Again this is what I remember reading. Doesn’t mean it’s true but makes a lot of sense since in our world the transistor was invented in 1947 and although was being used a lot in 1950s and 60s, it wasn’t until the production of the intel 4004 cpu. The first cpu to be used by the general public and in my opinion, it’s what brought the transistor into general use. So to sum up, our world tech investments vs there’s: we had the transistor about 30 years before them and had general purposes for it about 60 years before them. That would definitely make things look very different in the wasteland😂.
I actually appreciate the fact that the main cannon connection for the show will be fallout 1 and 2 with the crater that is now shady sands, and the potential for New Vegas connections
We could get an answer to the Canon ending of new vegas in the TV show, considering it takes places in the boneyard, which at least used to be part of the NCR
I don't want there to be a canon ending to New Vegas, which is why I don't like where this show appears to be heading. Ten bucks says it's written by people who don't like the NCR, because they make the wasteland "too civilized". Ten bucks says they have never played FO1 or FO2, and hence don't understand that FO2 and New Vegas actually present a logical timeline of new post-apocalyptic civilizations. This is what those two games were about rather than the scavenger world with the retro-futuristic aesthetic. To that I say that if they preferred it this way, they should have set the series earlier in the timeline, or elsewhere. The further the Fallout timeline progresses, the less sense it makes for the protagonist to be a vault dweller. Vault 13's water chip broke down because it was never intended to last even 80 years. Vault 8's powe generator was never intended to support its growing population, and so on.
@@Thagomizer Nolan claims to be a fan of FALLOUT 3. That should tell you something. This show is not for Fallout fans and we need to go harder on Amazon like we did with Rings of Power and Netflix Witcher Series. Now i feel like reinstalling Witcher 3 later. XD
@MLPDethDealr32 I hate to break it to you, but for all intents and purposes, Bethesda's Fallout is Fallout. They've owned it for 3 times as long as Interplay ever did. They released more games, and those said games sold more than 10 times what 1 and 2 ever sold. Fallout 3 alone outsold the entire franchise by an order of magnitude in its first year of release. The show IS made for fans, just different fans. More numerous fans.
Actually, on the trailer it says that 200 years passed after the first bomb fell... So in that case the series is in 2277, the same time that Fallout 3 :)
and the show has already, went off the rails of the time line. The BOS in the normal timeline is the enemy of the NCR, and LA is part of the NCR. Also there are no horses alive, by the time the Show Starts, because they died out, by that time. But the Show has horses. there is a lot more that is off..
The thing that bothers me most about fallout is that time lines often don’t make sense with the canon …. How are you meeting geck creator 200 years in the future ?
Bro if you go near the vault 87 from door YOU DIE. It is NOT AN OPTION TO ENTER. Door also say’s inaccessible when you go near it too, after absorbing 500 megatons of rads
I mean, the leader of the Enclave has been retconned repeatedly. The original leader is (supposedly) President Dick Richardson who dies in the oil rig explosion in Fallout 2. When Bethesda bought the IP though they modified a lot of history. As did 14 Degrees East when they made Tactics (Pre-Bethesda of course). Van Buren would have realigned a lot. But of course, Fallout 3 was never released from Black Isle. So we got the other Fallout 3 (Bethesda).

Saved for later so I can watch with my wife. Watching the series has gotten my wife hooked more than I am! 😊
Why people say "nukelar"? It's not nukelus, it's nucleus - nuclear.
Because we live in an Idiocracy where people aren't corrected when they're incorrect.
Not just nu-ca-ler but also see-no 😂
Would have never guessed that Fallout would eventually get adapted into a TV show. I guess I'm getting old..
Can you help me .? 1:00 I play Fallout 4 in PS4 . I'm on the institute quest. Building the teleporter. I chose to do it with the brotherhood of steel at the airport.
If you got red carpet under the teleporter, move/destroy it and the teleporter should work
The show was way better than i expected, walton was great, so many easter eggs.
I’ve been binging the lore all day
This video is making me wanna replay fallout 4 for the 5th or 6th time
5:10 Fallout 76 is NOT an MMO, it's just an Online Multiplayer Game, there's no MASSIVE amount of players on a server.
World of Warcraft is a MMO, with up to 5k players per server, while Fallout 76 has up to 24 player per server. That's not massive at all.
i dont care. i will never acknowledge it as Canon to the True Games.
Sorry I couldn't get passed the background music. Its distracting.
Saying nuclear like W. Bush lmao.
Say App-uh-latch-uh or get an apple thrown atcha
The Brotherhood was founded by Maxson in November 2077, a month after the Great War bud.
MojoPlays, This is amazing! I subscribed right away!
Thanks for subbing!
I gave up on fallout 76 when I spent days looking for electricity for the first mission😭
Overseer not observer
Right off the bat, an Iconic line.
this has definitely helped me to understand the fallout world I have never played the game only the fan films and now the Amazon series that I love
i LOVE lore videos, thanks!
Epic Nate and Oxhorn need to jump on this. But I honestly appreciate any videos about fallout. The more exposure the better.
Curious to see what direction the t.v. show will go.
Into left field.
@@JadeDude1973 probably
It’s amazing
@@mikeoxmaul9675 i just finished watching it last night.
Okay so, I’ve played a bit of 3, some of 4 and that’s it
Should I continue to pursue the story of these older games?
Yes, absolutely! Don't blind play them, though. Consult the "Nearly Ultimate Fallout 1/2 Guide".
2010 was 14 years ago....
"And change the number on my luggage!!"
This is cool. Played the 1st fallout in 97/98 when I was 10. Played Fallout 2 as a teen. Fallout 3 was very exciting after such a huge break. Played Tactics, didn't really care for it.
"I think it's pronounced nuke-you-lar" 😂
It's NURK-a-lurr.
It’s the last one, NCR is collapsed in the series while Vegas is still around 19:16
I knew this video wasn’t going to be good when I saw it was only 23 minutes… the fallout timeline explained correctly takes wayyyyy longer than that 😂
Thank you for making this!!!
Yo benny from new vegas was the guy from friends 🧡 rip chandler
there is so much wrong here, I don't even know where to start, it would be easier to make a video about why these videos are usually inacurate in many places and how so....video could have been an hour and it still wouldn't have been a "complete" time line
They are doing a summary video…
I’ve definitely completed F4 with both the brotherhood and railroad intact. Just do the minuteman ending and avoid various brotherhood quests.
By the way can't wait Fall Out Tv show, is it coming in this year 2024? 🌏🌍🌎🚀🏞🌄🌃🤖👨🏻🚀👩🏽🚀💀💣💥🔫☢️☣️
No
Should be released mid-April.
Ngl, I started with Fallout 3 too. Really liked that game too. It and New Vegas actually.
i have 3 unistalled and FNV, 4 and the OG games still on my PC. This show is going to retcon the later out of existence. Bethesda can choke if they pull that crap.
NU-CLEAR, not NUK-ULEAR. Why can people never get that right?
GHW Bush said so…. =D
Pff nukular is much better
Even homer Simpson knew
Nukular winter is winter with Nuka Cola. Nuclear winter is radioactive frozen hell
the prydwin is in the fallout tv show which happens after fallout 4 so more than likely minutemen or BoF is cannon
that was a different airship there are multiple
I already binged the show. It's awesome, and I will watch it through again. I have only played F4, and I know I need to play 3 and NV, but with this little history lesson in mind a second watch-through of the show will hit a little deeper. Nice lore breakdown, thanks!
I never managed to get into FA one and two but would 100% recommend 3 and NV. Tbh I loved FO76 and think it was so interesting. Unsure if one can still play it but would recommend as well after 3 and NV
This show was great 👍
Guys what’s the best fallout game to start with?
(Watched the show recently but never played the games)
How can you say that’s not complicated? I must be dumber than I thought. An actual timeline on the screen would be helpful for us visual learners
Con-tin-you-ity? Not con-ti-nu-ity? Nukeular? Is this guy an AI creation?
Straight away, Bos Knight within a desolate city.
Honestly feel bad for those who got to know the series with 3 and don’t have the desire to play 1 and 2 because “it looks old”.
2 is probably my favorite game ever
This is the most convoluted plot I’ve ever heard
I really wanted to watch this video, but seriously, mispronouncing "nuclear" three times in less than ten seconds...just, no.
I love it… Amen Denison.
And sino… seee no? Lol
“It’s pronounced nukeuler” - Homer Simpson & this guy
Love that scorchbeasts kinda follows the lore of moth man in Appalachia. Lol
Man I'm gonna have to give the older ones a shot
the controls are hard.
The fact that the creator doesnt want to use the ACTUAL FALLOUT GAMES lore worries me. Its euther gonna be good or its gunna NUKE
"Shit, i don't even know what i create either, just give me the money, you can write anything you want"
- Todd Howard
It was solid
I wanted to go back and play the games again. But it's easier to just get the story here. Thx
We could get an answer to the Canon ending of new vegas in the TV show, considering it takes places in the boneyard, which at least used to be part of the NCR
Wish it had been cooler in FO2. They kinda did LA dirty.
@@JadeDude1973 fallout one. Fallout 2 was San Francisco
What I find strange is the lone Wanderer’s real name is Albert.
Is he somehow related to Albert Cole the main protagonist of the first Fallout?
"IN Fallout, these fears werent unfounded" - You call the death of millions unfounded? Wow the youth have not been educated in the USA.
The thing that bothers me most about fallout is that time lines often don’t make sense with the canon …. How are you meeting geck creator 200 years in the future ?
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel - is not considered canon. Fortunately (and thankfully) for all of us Fallout fans.
Ive been playing games my whole life i have fought tons of bosses ive met few that scared me the way frank horrigan did
I like ONE thing about Fallout 76... it doesn't push the timeline forward. :)
Bro if you go near the vault 87 from door YOU DIE. It is NOT AN OPTION TO ENTER. Door also say’s inaccessible when you go near it too, after absorbing 500 megatons of rads
1. autumn is not the leader of the enclave. the computer ai "president" is.
2. vault 87 does.not have a front door. it is not accessable at all.
