I'm confused about the robo scorpion? How is it not a boss? I also think it's stronger than all variants of deathclaws? And why would you say a mythic death claw instead of a mythic chameleon death claw? Chameleon death claws are the worst because you can't vats them, so you have to fight normally.
No way, Frank Horrigan is way harder than Scorchbeast queen, cause you can take on queen with 8+ people, and you kill her quickly, with Frank you fight a guy with 10 special in every stat ALONE. Oh and you have time limit heh. And I would forget, he has one of the best weapons in the game :)
I played Fallout 76 and 2 and you're kinda right I mean, in 2 it's a singleplayer and 76 is a Multiplayer so it's depend if fighting the boss alone or with a team, and in 76 you level up is Capless and in 2 your cap level is 99, and there is perk, so if we look at the big picture it's kinda complicated, so the conclusion is in gameplay persepctive it's Frank Horrigan but in Lore persepctive it's the Scorchbeast queen
For Frank Horrigan It Depends on what weapon you have... If you have a Bozar Rifle (Which honestly, is kinda a must by the end of Fallout 2), Then you can take ol' Frankie out within 2 or 3 Burst Shots (If You Get Lucky), and while yes, there is a timer, Its not that bad

For those that don't know of this in game event "Encryptid", a rogue assaultron is can be recalled to a trap site and the assaultron will call horde of robots to attack throughout. But you can't just fight it! You can try to fight the ScorchedBeast Queen solo and she will take damage, The Imposter Sheepsquatch has an impenetrable shield, has an invisibility stealth technology, both features can only be disabled by 3 players activating jamming pylons. BUT EVEN THEN the pylons themselves causes constant damage to players who activate them. With 3 pylons activated, it is only now that you can cause damage to the Imposter Sheepsquatch. Unless you're have a bloodied loadout, you can fight the ScotchedBeast Queen and likely won't go down. Even with a vampire tank, expect yourself and multiple other players around you to die multiple times against the Imposter Sheepsquatch.
Fuck that event. I have solo’ed the SBQ a couple times but i don’t think i ever would with the imposter sheepsquatch. I have only finished that even once with 3 other level 500+ people and won’t do it again. I never see that event nowadays anyway haha. Most people already have the Fixer plan i guess
My vote for the toughest and most badass iconic fallout enemies of all time would definitely be deathclaws cazadors super mutant behemoths albino rad scorpions sentry bots mirelurk queens feral ghoul reavers and let me tell you these sobs were definitely the toughest most fun enemys to fight two ways countless minutes on and good practice too.
Alot the difficulty for these bosses flies right out the window if you have the Gun Runners Arsenal DLC on. The added munition types for 12 gauge shotguns and .50 MG rounds add considerable might to the weapons Dinner Bell and the Anti-Material Rifle respectively. Dragons breath rounds can melt Cazadors, and flechette rounds can put down armored enemies in one or two shots. You can also pop explosive rounds into the AM Rifle and drop named bosses like Legate Lanius in a single magazine.
In my opinion it wasn't hard it was just long and draining to do as you spent most of the time hiding on top of things trying to slowly pick off the deathclaws It was such a boring dlc and at the end it felt like you didn't get rewarded enough for what you went through It had so much potential and could have been a fun dlc but nope they put to many over powered death claws that you couldn't sneak past and obvious couldn't fight fair as they killed you in basically 3 seconds
I'd say there's two good honorable mentions needed here: 1) Shipbreaker (Fallout 4 Far Harbor): A legendary Fog Crawler who's so radioactive she gives off her own radio signal that affects the others on Far Harbor. She has the same attacks as other fog crawlers but they hit harder. She also retreats constantly and comes back towards you if you give chase 2) Overboss Colter (Fallout 4 Nuka World): He doesn't boast great stats ( 0 Strength, 4 Perception, 0 Endurance, 0 Charisma, 5 Intelligence, 5 Agility and 0 Luck) but his fight poses a challenge with fighting him in his power armor with electricity. Sure you can rely on crits or the Mysterious Stranger or even reverse pickpocket grenades on him. But other than tricks you'd have to short circuit his electrical barrier with the Thirst Zapper, a squirt gun
Whenever setting up my base in any Fallout game I always like to mine the area, my favorite were sachel charges in New Vegas. But I've never been able to get the right amount of *oomph* appropriate when dealing with thieves and home intruders. 10:05 That's definitely the level I wanted
You can shutdown X-42 robo scorpion. If you walk around and find a very hard terminal. Info from the terminal said that shutting it down will fry it's circuit(i haven't tried yet, it got swarmed by turrets and protectrons before i can try)
The first time the Scorch Beast Queen was faced off with they pulled the plug on the servers and shut the game down just before the group beat her. Just another reason '76 is so maligned.
350 damage heavy attack, okay, that'll give you a bad time at most stages in the game. But by the end of the game, when you have a full set of mark 6 X-01 power armor, the player can reach resistances at well over a thousand, so that attack will leave a bruise at worst. Some might argue that since you need fusion cores for it you can't use it all the time, but by that point in the game the player would have a large number of fusion cores and should be able to find/buy more than they are using, which, in my opinion, is the biggest problem in Fallout 4.
That bloatfly claps checks so hard. Tho I will say that I find cazadors way harder than deathclaws because a swarm of those will cross distance way faster than deathclaws and be more stealth about it if you didn't see them. If that happens, you'll be dead in half a second because 3 of them just stung you at basically the same time and your health bar depleted so fast your auto inject stimpacks don't even work so you die. I still panick with cazadores once in a while if I'm to low level or if it sneaks up on me at any given level
For me the hardest fight was actually the mirelurk queen in Fallout 4 that you have to kill in order to claim the settlement with the castle walls. I remember being extremely underleveled and the fact that I was using a melee build didn't help any. I ended up just hiding in the walls and putting almost all my ammo in the thing.
BS. Just based on the fact that you can simply respawn and continue your fight against the queen and every event usually has at least 6 people also fighting her means she's not difficult. Frank should've been 1 and Earle should've been 2.
I've never had a problem with the Legendary Bloatfly. Its projectile is a plasma ball, meaning it can be dodged using obstacles and it's easy to stay at max range while sniping it.
reasons why Liberty Prime and Gojira are not on the list was already stated but here's the thing Liberty Prime has 5,000,000 Health but the reason why it's unkillable is because it's an essential NPC meaning it can't die even if it loses all of it's health and for Gojira: simple even though Unused he was never truly intended to be in the game he's actually a joke put in by dev Seth McCaughey, apparently for fun to terrorize Camp McCarran.
I'm surprised that fallout 3 Albino Radscorpions, Super Mutant Overlords or Ghoul Reavers didn't make the list by far the most deadliest enemies within that game they were OP and not even boses.

Lorenzo Cabot was pretty tough, I fired three mini nukes and it barely did anything, he's like a evil Superman and in second I reckon between Overboss Colter or Sinjin consider when you fight him it's in a hostage situation
ive caught 3 hawk wasps in my life, ive seen how deadly their sting is in person too. those guys scare the hell out of me but they love arizona. cant wait for the wasteland
I'm a new fallout player that isn't really good with games like this, and watching this video just makes me think "maybe I don't need to finish this game"
Wendigo Colossus is an objectively harder boss than the queen - although added much later. Good ol Earl simply shrugs off any damage below certain threshold and summons non stop staggering little bastards and soaks in ammo like there's no tomorrow. While the queen is pretty much soloable at that point.
When ever traveling I always pack a fatman just for the death claws and i use hot key ammo cheat so I don’t run out and for the cazadores which in my opinion are super annoying I pack an alien blaster just for them and some anti-venom i loot from the logion
if you are lucky you can shoot off 2 or 3 mini nukes at legates before talking to him and end him before it begins. or at least knock half his health down before battle
Man everything in new Vegas I would annihilate after finding out about the nuke glitch with a certain item 😏😂 but I beat the game regularly first on hardcore mode shit was insane lol
Am I the only one who thinks death claws became to over powered from nv onwards, in f3 they were scary because they was so fast and would come out of no where at you normally in packs of 2 or 3, they packed a hard punch and we're pretty hard and put up a good fight but it was still manageable ti kill them with pretty basic gear and a whole bunch of stims, in nv on wards they became upped the size of the packs they come in and made them to fast and to aggressive constantly punching you for high damaged while being to fast for you to run or even heal your self even if you had good gear, most of the fight if you even lasted more than 5 seconds was just you hiding under or on top of something where they couldn't hit you and you would just slowly brain their health down by spamming bulleta in to their face as they stood there like dumb npcs In my opinion fallout 3 had the perfect deathclaw it was scary and hard yet fun to fight where as all the games after that just made them a stressful headache to fight as you knew you was going to die the second you hear one coming, they also seemed to make a habit of introducing them way to early at a point where you have crap gear are a low level and have no stims, where as in f3 they waited until you was a good level and at a point where you should have pretty good gear before they because a threat to you But them again most of the enemies in nv and onwards feel slightly over powered compared to the player where as in f3 they had the skill/level cap for enemies just right

It's actually the Assaultron Bosses fam, a roaming one with fully charged laser while you are sneaking and then detected will instantly fire upon you and lasered your hp right away

Ngl, Scorchbeast is one of the easier ones in 76, Earle Williams is much more difficult, especially since for most player he glitches into the floor and can’t take damage
Death claws ugh those things in new vegas Are hard to kill Those things And the marked men are hard as hell and the skeleton guys in old world blues are to deal with
Im just replaying it now, and there's a cave with a lot of deathclaws, including a legendary one (very hard mode, hardcore) I died more times than I could count. Then I decided to pull out the big guns. Fat Man with High Yield warheads. Problem is the cave is small enough that if I hit slightly too close I'm instantly dead. So I died a few more times that way. Not the legendary deathclaw, no - it goes to about 50% hp at best. A high yield mini-nuke dropped on it only brings it to about half hp. That's a boss. Scripted enemies that you can kill with a single sneak attack or a full auto burst or two? Absolute jokes. That deathclaw... man. Nope.
Lol people complained about nerf on Deathclaw but they never meet this freaky creature at level 10 without power ammo,only damned rifle/pistol with less than 20 damage,no god mode no hella strong companion with only 3-4 star level perks

I'm lvl 300+ on F76. I don't use consumables. If I want to solo fight the SBQueen, it'll take me the whole 30mins with only a few sec to spare.

The giant robo-scorpion WAS kinda hard BUT it was easier than I thought because I used the antenna weapon thing for the damage and the stealth armour
Pretty sure I just used the medicine stick and ranger armor and it was dead pretty quickly. It's not hard when you hide behind cover

Put over 2 full fusion cores worth of lazars into her and still wouldn’t bring her down.
i used a missle launcher on fogcrawler at lvl 40 and she died immediately. i thought she was easy

Not really a "one" enemy, but the Wanamingos of Fallout 2 were pretty mean too, specially at the time of the game you find the mine

Games were crashing all over the place, it's not like one server was being targeted.
I always loved Ulysses, I would talk him down in the DLC, I was very upset we couldn’t have him as a follower. He was straight badass lol

Yep. Exactly as me. Well before i just ate every single chem for strength and proceeded to 3shot her with the Atoms Judgement.
Number 4 was so easy cuz I did the glitch where you can use all the companions

You can kill the Giant Robo-Scorpion a lot faster with the Pulse Gun from Vault-34
A riot shotgun with pulse slugs helps a lot with the robo scorpion
List should basically be all Las Vegas enemies, I’ve never died so much against enemies than Las Vegas
Wendigo Colossus is worse than the scortchbeast queen.
Wendigo Colossus is an objectively harder boss than the queen - although added much later. Good ol Earl simply shrugs off any damage below certain threshold and summons non stop staggering little bastards and soaks in ammo like there's no tomorrow. While the queen is pretty much soloable at that point.
it is not a coincidence that 3 of them are from fallout new vegas, its just that good

The x42 can just be 3 shotted with a fatman or just skipped if you have 100 science, personally the 0001110000 boss of the same dlc was harder.

When ever traveling I always pack a fatman just for the death claws and i use hot key ammo cheat so I don’t run out and for the cazadores which in my opinion are super annoying I pack an alien blaster just for them and some anti-venom i loot from the logion
for lonesome road i just used a sniper with explosive rounds while sneaking

if you are lucky you can shoot off 2 or 3 mini nukes at legates before talking to him and end him before it begins. or at least knock half his health down before battle

I never had a big problem with the legendary bloat fly. I had a way harder time with rawr.
For me it’s the opposite. I was able to one-shot Rawr with a sneak attack. I don’t remember which weapon I used.
Am I the only one who thinks death claws became to over powered from nv onwards, in f3 they were scary because they was so fast and would come out of no where at you normally in packs of 2 or 3, they packed a hard punch and we're pretty hard and put up a good fight but it was still manageable ti kill them with pretty basic gear and a whole bunch of stims, in nv on wards they became upped the size of the packs they come in and made them to fast and to aggressive constantly punching you for high damaged while being to fast for you to run or even heal your self even if you had good gear, most of the fight if you even lasted more than 5 seconds was just you hiding under or on top of something where they couldn't hit you and you would just slowly brain their health down by spamming bulleta in to their face as they stood there like dumb npcs
In my opinion fallout 3 had the perfect deathclaw it was scary and hard yet fun to fight where as all the games after that just made them a stressful headache to fight as you knew you was going to die the second you hear one coming, they also seemed to make a habit of introducing them way to early at a point where you have crap gear are a low level and have no stims, where as in f3 they waited until you was a good level and at a point where you should have pretty good gear before they because a threat to you
But them again most of the enemies in nv and onwards feel slightly over powered compared to the player where as in f3 they had the skill/level cap for enemies just right
I borrowed my friends broken stealth build in F4 silenced guass rifle, with a effect that does triple damage at full health one shot they are dead
Finally someone puts frank up there, he was insane, make sure you disable those turrets or youre fucked

It's actually the Assaultron Bosses fam, a roaming one with fully charged laser while you are sneaking and then detected will instantly fire upon you and lasered your hp right away

Ngl, Scorchbeast is one of the easier ones in 76, Earle Williams is much more difficult, especially since for most player he glitches into the floor and can’t take damage

In fallout 4 i favored a unique submachine gun with explosive bullets did mad damage n made every enemy easy
Death claws ugh those things in new vegas Are hard to kill Those things And the marked men are hard as hell and the skeleton guys in old world blues are to deal with
Im just replaying it now, and there's a cave with a lot of deathclaws, including a legendary one (very hard mode, hardcore) I died more times than I could count. Then I decided to pull out the big guns. Fat Man with High Yield warheads. Problem is the cave is small enough that if I hit slightly too close I'm instantly dead. So I died a few more times that way.
Not the legendary deathclaw, no - it goes to about 50% hp at best. A high yield mini-nuke dropped on it only brings it to about half hp. That's a boss. Scripted enemies that you can kill with a single sneak attack or a full auto burst or two? Absolute jokes. That deathclaw... man. Nope.
Lol people complained about nerf on Deathclaw but they never meet this freaky creature at level 10 without power ammo,only damned rifle/pistol with less than 20 damage,no god mode no hella strong companion with only 3-4 star level perks
