Honestly im just excited for a new dq monsters game. Idc about graphics, load times, whatever. As long as the story is at least decent. Thats all I'll ever care about
Same, I will compromise soo much, just for it to be a monster collector game. I just cant believe there aren't more tripple A titles with amazing grapgics that try to replicate pokemon. It is like it has never even been tried hardly, I just don't get it, we have a thousand souls game, thousand shooters, thousand other turn based rps, then you just have barely any monster collector tripple a games.

Dang , and they were ragging on pokemon for how bad it looked. I don't see how it looks worse than this. Def excited to give this a try though. I will sacrifice alot of quality just to play a monster collector.
It's like DQ has sworn to make the most tedious intros ever
And it just talks down to you constantly, they make me feel like a 3 y/o
(And ffs that initial attack in the village is the perfect opportunity for a combat tutorial)
This game is legitimate proof of the neglected opportunity that Gamefreak had to have created the best games on Nintendo Switch.
If you like this you should check out Monster Hunter Stories 2 from July 2021. Capcom knocked it out of the park w mhst2 and the was even before SV came out.
Ohhh dear. So it takes 25 minutes before the opening sequences end and you're actually allowed to start playing? That's pretty rough. Not as rough as the presentation though - the MIDI music has never, ever sounded good in these games and it's baffling that they still insist on using it when they have orchestral versions available.
Sound balancing is really bad, the music is completely drowning out the voice acting.
And then there's all that stuttering and slowdown as soon as your character tries to move anywhere.
What a shame.

Why do they have to have a silent protagonist. It takes away from the whole game every time.
Ah thats funny. For me its the complete opposite. Him being silent lets me imagine him to be more myself if that makes sense?

I dont give a crap about graphics, but for Nintendo to constantly say the Switch is as good as a console, then keep releasing games on it that look like they're from 2010 uhh, then I'm gonna have to complain.
I'm glad they kept the DQ style.. it just looks really low effort, and the writing seems to be nowhere near as cheesy and pun filled as DQ usually is.
Bro, it's not Nintendo's fault, Square doesn't give a shit and wants an easy cashgrab with this title trying to appeal Pokémon fans, you can make awesome graphics/visual styles on Switch.
It really does look pretty terrible. I wouldn't say that's Nintendo's fault but whoever actually made the game. There's plenty of great-looking games on the Switch. I mean, DQXI is on the Switch.
Yeah. Square probably saw that pokemon sells with shitty graphic so they did the same.

This is the worst game I have ever played. The graphics and preformance are worse than Scarlett and Violet at launch. The gameplay is an insult to the history of the franchise. If you are on the the fence, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.
I don't know, this looks like another monster game, low budget, poor graphics and performance, bland story (as far as I've played), more of the same. Feels like they just aim for mediocrity with these spin-of series...
