Great series! Thanks for playing it! Two things worth noting about IV: 1) The localized DS version is missing the party chat feature (Japan had it, but the localizers stripped it out for some dumb reason). As such, the iOS/Android version is technically the most complete USA version of the game. However, I still prefer the DS version as it doesn't require touchscreen use and is more stable performance-wise (even though the iOS/Android version restores party chat and has slightly better music). A fan made a hack of the game that adds the iOS/Android party chats back to the DS version, but I believe it also glitches the hero's name to either be stuck as Solo or as a Japanese name. 2) The Dark Prince is definitely kinder to Psaro here than in IV. The story beats are different here as Dolph, Ludo, Miriam, and Randolfo are nowhere to be found in IV (since they're original to the Dark Prince), so it's not a 1-to-1 story match with IV. Miriam in particular was added to make Psaro more of a foil to Solo/Sofia (no specifics on why for that so you don't get spoiled in the game). As such, things are definitely different between the two games.
Also, if you think IV on the DS is expensive (which it is now), then you DEFINITELY want to avoid seeing the prices of V and VI (especially VI). The DS ports are great, but I think they go for TONs of money at this point, so it's probably more economical to go for the iOS/Android versions at this point since those versions are sub-$20 on there (even though I prefer the DS versions due to physical buttons).
If you still have grinding problems, try farming metal king slimes in the last area. Since you finished the story, they shoulndt be so uncommon anymore

Congrats on finishing the game! I heard there is a end game content dlc called joe gym dungeon, have you tried it yet? if u did, would u say it's worth getting?

@@BT-ns4xl there are some maps and Videos with Locations online, try them. Like I said, they are only common, when you finished the story
